The slipcover was also a preorder bonus in gamestop canada which is why almost all the listings there are canadian. Still absolutely not defending this though. I sincerely hope nobody here resold theirs for hundreds of dollars

Fun event, but man I was such a fumble with the origami bit. The store ambassador had to walk me through the whole thing like I was in kindergarten cause i was messing up so badly. I liked that we got to race the paper planes like the old WarioWare games tho. Had the race theme from that in my head the whole time

Man! It’s a shame they didn’t have any of this stuff on Launch Day!
I travelled all the way out to Manhattan hoping to get the posters or other giveaway items, only to find nothing there on Thursday! It looks like the challenges were a lot of fun, and it was a great time the day I went, plus the store wasn’t overly packed because it was a weekday.
Apparently they DID have the slipcover that day, but it was all sold out before I reached the register! What luck!
