Apparently this was in the original game and I never new about it until someone mentioned it was preserved in the remake. I saw a video how how it looked originally and man, the remake really did improve a lot in terms of the presentation, animations and expressions with this game. Also love that Luigi posed too while taking Mario's picture.
I had no idea this was even a thing. I don't think I even stayed at an Inn even 10 times in a playthrough, let alone FIFTY! Those heart blocks, and free beds in places like the Glitz Pit, are too good.
It'd be great to get the Keelhaul key one to happen during chapter 5. You're supposed to be deserted on this island and somehow this cameraman made it over just to take your photo and then leaves without helping anyone off the island.
Just like how the Battle Master just randomly appears on the island. He's not on the ship, he can't have taken the Warp Pipe. How could he have gotten there?
Later: Peach: "Mario, what took you so long?!?! It's been almost 2 months since I got kidnapped!" Mario: "I had to sleep 50 times to get my picture taken!"
@@yokai59loi36 It's worse than that. It's revealed partway through that the Seal of the Thousand-Year Door only lasts for 1,000 years, and is already weakening because Frankly theorizes that they _just happen_ to be in the thousandth year. So, by the game lore, if you take an entire year-ish to finish your quest (whether by staying at 300 inns or being a Time Lord to scam the scammer Lucky), the Shadow Queen has already woken up on her own and taken over the world. Hope those photos and Lucky Day badge were worth it!
I'm wondering. Are there even more secret cutscenes that dont end in an Game Over, to find? Stuff where you have to do some insane grinding to see them? Just like this? I mean, who will ever sleeo 50 times in this game for Real xD
To be honest 50 times at least 5 coins per inn is 250 coins and u only get about 200 and that’ll mean less if u sleep at other inns like poshley heights for example so this is cool but I don’t see the point if u get back barely any coins by the end of it
funny heh i never know was such a thing in the game XD heh kinda neat but yeah all thru the remastered iv played... slept in a in once and that was with a found ticket XD so yeahh i would never of found this out ever XD
Not really, for the amount you have to pour in to stay 50 times, even with Rogueport's dirt cheap 5-coin fee, you're still losing money overall. Assuming you're not using an inn coupon.
"give us your best 'just woke up' face."
Mario: faces away and does a thumbs up
Partner: poses.
Luigi: Offers a handshake.

I NEVER knew this. Not even from the first playthrough I did about 18 years ago did little me see this. That's crazy.
Guess I'm still learning new things!
THIS WAS IN THE ORIGINAL???????
This game always has something new to see every time you play it again (;
I barely stayed at inns on my playthrough so never knew this existed.
God bless everyone.
I had no idea this was even a thing.

Agreed like if you didn't know this it's unlikely most would ever stay that much.
God bless you.
I love how even luigi poses for the pic
Twenty years later and this game STILL surprises me!😊

Inaccurate. Mario slept for 50 days 6 times. Almost a year has passed

Poor Yoshi Kid and his unflattering pose.
Who, would think to put this in, like who would without knowing and on a normal playthrough stay at one inn 50 times?
God bless everyone.
Cute.
Now if only we could have like an extra photo collage of every inn photo in like a scrapbook

@itsmeikeIf you do the shop points are reset to 0
Damn. I don’t think I ever used an inn given that level up heals you and there’s always the block that heals you too
Madame Flurrie: Am I a joke to you?
YES MUAHAHHAHHhudsygduystfdubTHVDTdcG HSDh
Apparently a lot of people think she's the worst partner (in battle, at least)
Not sure if because there's no inn in chapter 2 or because her chest is to "fluffy " to stay monetized.
@@devinclark6212 Six inns, seven partners.
legit i didn’t even think someone would conceive the idea of sleeping 50 times when there are items and shops everywhere
I don't think I've ever used an inn or heal block in TTYD. It costing money sucks, I need all 7,000 of my coins, this full heal can't have any!
I just noticed no inn in Boggly Woods. Glitzville doesn't need one.
I had no idea this was a thing in the game, it goes to show you that there are things you can easily miss.
LOL, so cool that they put this in here. Like I almost never stayed at inns so didn't know.
God bless everyone.
I approve of this.
...This is the first I've heard of this, but now I _need_ to do it in my x2 Combo playthrough.
Mario and Luigi blink at the same time!
If you haven't found out already, Toadsworth only does a smile like ^ ^. So he doesn't really pose for the photo. Also got a recording of it too.
WHAT?! I never knew about this.
oh wow. i sold off all my in coupons cause they take up space and i rarely use inns
3:48 almost looks like ms mowz has a mouth thats weird
And at 3:52 her hand looks like a little smile.
Oooo, collectors edition money!
This also happens with a certain number of points gotten in shops
Liked, saved and subscribed. Awesome contents
That doesn’t even fully pay back the coins
Incredible
Assuming you used every Inn Coupon you'd have to pay 215 coins
Does this scene repeat after another 50 stays? Anyone know?

Why can’t I get the Petalburg Inn one to work?
I didn’t we can do this!
Will you get FREE FOOD or FREE VGs!?

@@LegendofKal Alright.
was this a feature in the original?
Yes
Original?
@@Getlucky12 They're talking about the GameCube version.
So is it 50 per hotel or 50 in total.
50 in total
Poor Flurrie 😂
that was not so special as it sounded.
