That was nice! I really enjoyed watching. I'm from America, but I love everything British. Especially afternoon tea. I so wish there was a tea house near by that offered the British experience of afternoon tea with all the trimmings. I would visit once a week.
A Wonderfully informative and delightful video! This was so helpful and answered many questions I had about afternoon tea. So glad to have found your channel!
Serena, thankyou for the lovely tips. I am going to host my first tea party and I want to get it right. I'm a baker, so I can make the scones and petite desserts myself. The sandwiches don't look hard either. Earl Grey tea happens to be my favorite so I think this is going to work out well. Best Wishes and thank you again!
Serena, you are a lovely girl and I appreciated this tutorial on afternoon tea! It indeed answered questions that I have and had no one nearby to help. I enjoyed this very much! Ginger from Colorado USA

I once worked with a lot of people who were English descendants. I couldn’t understand why they would ask each other what they were cooking for afternoon tea instead of what they were cooking for dinner? I’m pretty sure that we’re talking about dinner because they were discussing things like steak, peas and potatoes.

Hi Elkycreates, sometimes people use the terms afternoon tea and high tea interchangeably even though there is actually a difference :)
Tea vs dinner or supper is a class thing.
You're so beuty..thank u for u lessons

It's a tragedy that clotted cream isn't available in the US. I have to make it from scratch.
If in EDinburgh go have AfternoonTea at the Dome in George Street.
Ah thank you so much for the recommendation! Had to google it right away, looks fancy 👍☺️

I have been to the Dome 3 times. It is worth it. Check out the history...it used to be a bank.

what's the difference between low and high tea?
Hi tea is a term more commonly used in the US.
You use the same knife for the jam, clotted cream, and lemon curds? That cannot be okay. I would think there should be a different utensil for each.
Happy to do so when I don't have to wash up. Afternoon tea for one uses one knife 😁

What if you hate tea? Can you have coffee?
You can but there are often fewer options! If you fancy it, you can even have an afternoon tea with bubbles and drink prosecco instead 😁
If you hate tea there’s usually a kfc down the street instead
Also Don't put the sticky knife on the table cloth, out it on the plate.
It’s not a table cloth it’s a fabric table
