It's great to see you checking out Amaranthe, the spearhead of 'Modern Metal'. The three vocalists are very unique. Check out the official music video for 'Damnation Flame', where they introduced their new harsh vocalist in quite a special way 😉. Great video for an awesome track. Fun fact: Elize Ryd, their female singer, filled in together with Alyssa White-Gluz on vocals on the Nightwish tour in North America in 2012, as Nightwish couldn't continue with Anette Olzon, and before Floor Jansen could join them... Amaranthe has a very unique sound. I usually call it Europop metal, just to give it a name. They have 3 lead singers. Elize Ryd is the female singer She has a fantastic range. She was one of the 2 singers who covered for Annette in the infamous Nightwish Denver Debacle. She had auditioned for NW before Annette and knew some of the songs. Nils Molin is the clean tenor singer and Mikael Sehlin sings the harsh vocals. No one singer in the band is "the lead". They usually take turns, which gives them their different sound. Their drummer, Morten Løwe Sørensen, recently married Ad Infinitum singer Melissa Bonny. Other songs to listen to...Archangel, Damnation Flame, and Boom!1. Boom!1 is great because it is dominated by the harsh vocals. It was sung by their previous harsh vocalist, GG6. One other song to listen to would be their collab with Sabaton doing the Sabaton song 82nd All The Way, live from The Great Tour in Oslo.
This song is so good... quickly becoming one of my favourites by them. Be sure to check out 'Amaranthine' to hear some really great vocals by Elize and maybe the best power ballad ever (different clean male lead & screamer back then). Lots of great stuff to check out, though. Some cool stuff featuring Elize, like Apocalyptica 'What We're Up Against', and Nils has a great performance in 'King of Kings' by New Horizon. He also has another band. Also, for another great vocal combo, check out Skillet's John Cooper and Jen Ledger (who is also an incredible drummer!). His gruff vocals w/ her angelic vocals are just magic. They have a quite different sound, but rock/metal/symphonic metal genre. Maybe try 'Awake and Alive' or 'The Resistance' to start off.
Vocally, there have been one constant in Amaranthe, and that's Elize, the male singers have been more fluid. This is their second clean male singer, and their third "screamer". They've also had 4 other temporary vocalists between male singers, while touring. Try Hunger, and The Nexus, for the Elize, Jake E (Joacim), and Andy (Andreas) setup. Digital World, and Drop Dead Cynical, will change to GG6 (Henrik) on harsh vocals. Then you could do Archangel, and Boom!1, for the change on clean vocals to Nils. Other tracks with the current setup with Mikael on harsh vocals; The Catalyst, and Insatiable.
Bit sad you haven't done anymore of Amaranthe since this one... you're missing out. Just dive into the Manifest album... ua-cam.com/video/JzPUBTR4L_4/v-deo.htmlsi=MsmfRqPxtakaVmJd you wont regret it! Sending ❤ from Aus

Nils has his own band Dynazty . A great band also 🤘🤘
Her vocals in 'Helix' are what hooked me. Too many favorites to list...they also do a Sabaton cover.
From SWEDEN 🤘🤘🤘

Maybe they didn't have the new screamer yet, but the vocals in 'Find Life' are pretty incredible, too.
I'm a fan of Metalcore ABBA
Yes, the trailing "e" is silent
