- Hi friends,
As 2022 comes to an end I wanted to take a look back at some things I learned this year that affected my productivity, creativity and life as a musician in general - hope you can take something away from it too. Also I wanted to take the opportunity to thank you lovely people for your support throughout the year and all the love. You guys are amazing and keep me going. And be assured: There is way more to come in 2023. 💚
Happy New Year to all of you,
Miles

This is sound advice and 100% resonates with me. Last year opened so many doors, sometimes the doors you always wished were open, once they are, it can be terrifying in a way - the ultimate option paralysis. Checking in with yourself and what is going to make you happy as an artist - that is 'success'. The reward is the work/play.
Cheers Thundergate! And totally agree - sometimes you really need to recalibrate and think what is most important to you.
Great video as always. Thanks, and I look forward to staying in touch in 2023! Keep up the great work!!
Cheers Eric! Always appreciate your great feedback buddy and your lovely videos - definitely staying in touch and keep rocking in the new year dude! :)
I love the part about learnings, the previous me didn't know XYZ. Recapping is a wonderful source of gratitude. Thank for sharing!
Yeah that really helps a lot. Cheers and happy new year!
This is one of the most honest video's I've watched for a long time. Love it. The easiest thumbs up and subscription of the year. Looking forward to seeing what 2023 brings for you buddy!
Wow thanks a bunch Jamie - really appreciate the lovely feedback and the sub. Have a lovely 2023 and keep it up!
Let’s keep it going! ❤

Some key takeaways from this video, looking forward to many more grooves in '23! Thank you
Thank you Jase, very happy to read that. I will try to keep my groove up, you do that too! Off to a great 2023 🙏🏻
I love your perspective over things my friend and they are completely accurate.Have a happy new year, hope you are fine.2023 will be a great one ;)
Cheers buddy, great to see you here! And thanks for the lovely feedback- have a happy new year too and to a great 2023! 🙌🏻
Very good video Miles! The first point is a big one and one that I need to work on myself; missing too many days for being "too busy" really makes it hard to sit down when you do have time and make music fluidly. Happy New Year and looking forward to seeing what you have for us in 2023 :)
Cheers dude! And yeah it definitely is - I think consistency is key when you want to move forward. And witnessing the process is rewarding too. But I still struggle with that from time to time. All the best for you and keep it up next year!
Thank you for the recap. And have fun with Final Cut Pro :) Guten Rutsch!
Danke dir Martin, auch für die tollen Tutorials! Guten Rutsch dir auch 🤘🏻
This is really helpful 😊I really appreciate your point of view. I found this to be refreshingly honest and clear. I am getting so much from your channel. Thanks for doing what you do, I look forward to whatever you create next. Thanks for these practical experiences I will use them in my own creative process!!!!!!!
Wow thanks so much Ben - honestly for me it is the best to hear that people get something out of my videos or that they inspire them. Stay creative and happy new year!
Thanks for your thoughts! Very motivating to be more conscious.
Thanks Ponkie! That’s great feedback and happy that you got something out of it - happy 2023! :)
All the best for 2023 - can't wait to hear more music and more importantly hope you enjoy it!
Cheers Ryan, much appreciated buddy! Wishing you the same and all the best for many new live gigs. Would love to catch you plying live sometime!
an hour a day makes a huge difference in the long run. its a thing of discipline
It really does. And it’s very satisfying to witness the progress
All good points and each of them is a challenge in itself) Not comparing myself to others is probably the worst for me. Often my ego takes over my soul, and then I start to think that I'm so much better than a lot of a more successful and in-demand artists. And yet I'm basically nobody, and they all make a living even in the niche music, and I don't. Really really unhealthy pattern.
Thanks for the lovely feedback Fedor! And yeah it is - but I think on the other hand you shouldn’t put yourself down too much as it can be very demotivating. It’s a tricky point and I’m still struggling a lot with it. But it is definitely more healthy to be focused on oneself.

🙏🏻💚
you motivated me to work
That’s the best thing to hear. Cheers!
Great video to close the year with my friend. Those 5 points are absolutely relevant. I could not agree more on point 1. Making music a daily routine, no matter how long, was a game changer for me back then. Consistency is definitely a muscle that needs to be trained 🙏. I should definitely learn from you and get better with point 3. Thanks for taking time to share all those relevant insights with us. Wishing you a great and creative 2023. Cheers to more music and adventure by your side buddy. Keep inspiring us ♥.
Thank you so much my friend! So glad that you agree on the points and see them as relevant. You are definitely king when it comes to consistency looking at your weekly jams you did 100 weeks in a row. That’s absolutely impressive! Thanks for watching and for the great work together - it has been an absolute pleasure and I’m so looking forward to 2023 with you and the rest of the crew. Stay awesome and happy new year to you! 💚🙏🏻
