I was a Kurzweil K250 guy and had the chance to visit the studio in the late 80’s & early 1990’s. Something you guys said really rang out to me. Everybody there was just making music. No agenda other than exploring music. It was a wonderful and transformative experience.
I had the privilege of Working with Bob at Crystal studios when I was an intern. He is a very enjoyable person to work with as well as being a genius! I am very thankful for that opportunity!
Brilliant cosmic converge of creative energies,,, just watched the entire interview last night, Anthony. Many thanks for your insightful works, too. Be Well 🌞🎶
The one series I’m subscribed to that I give a thumbs up to before watching. 👍 Anthony is such a natural conversationalist when he’s speaking to people about recording and synthesis. Because he’s genuinely curious about the history behind all these stellar recordings. 😃
They are all great musicians great interview experimenting with music was what made these musicians. Stevie wonder was very clever. thank you for sharing.❤
The Who made a quadraphonic recording studio in London when recording quadrapheinia. It's now a dentist but the roof that the built to reflect the sound is still there and you can see it in the waiting room.
People keep telling me I mix drums backwards. I AM a drummer and mix them according to how I hear them and tend to pan the other instruments according to where they are relative to me. The whole band is basically mono from a normal audience perspective, so I put the listeners in the band.
3:49 Look at that thing. With the Beethoven bust statue. We have the luxury of 128+ tracks, emulation+fx, on our laptops and we still are too lazy to record These guys lugged a 16 track behemoth and all of their synth gear into their basement, good lord
I think Stevie cut his teeth playing the clubs so that's why he likes working at the late hours and that when his body clock says it's time to turn it on. But like your man just said, "he's entitled to do what the f**k he wants." 🤘
Stevie is irrelevant today and has been since 1982. He destroyed his fuc$ing career and became a black Andy Williams neutered black man who cut off his balls and plays funerals
Margouleff is such a cool guy. The stuff I've seen with Cecil he didin't want to give any credit to anybody, and he's mostly bragging and not telling awesome stories like Robert. Not in an awful way, but in a cartoony way. Cecil seems like Squidward from Sponge-Bob, and Margouleff is more of a chill Jerry Garcia type.
Stevie used to be a phenomenal recording artist. Now he plays funerals and supports odd political causes. He was a joke by 1984 when compared to prince and mike Jackson. Making Mor songs with Dionne Warwick. He was a fuc$ing joke and never recovered. I just called to say I love you and ebony and ivory made him a black version of Andy williams😢😮. He absolutely pissed away his career. Part time lover is garbage compared to purple rain and billie Jean. By the 80s Stevie was garbage
Phenomenal. We do need Stevie's voice now more than ever.
“Love’s in need of love today”

It's beautiful and rare to hear someone talk about music in the way he does.

@@michaelbeardmore5943 that must of been an incredible experience.
Really enjoyed the interview. Makes me want to revisit Stevie’s work. Thanks, Marinelli
A bless to hear such an inspirational story from Bob Margouleff itself 🎶 🎵 ❤️

Anthony will forever look 21 years old.

Stevie did leave Motown in 1971 but resigned in 1972 with a better deal.
