Ross over here with a 0.25% catch rate, with a single Giga sphere, no issues. Meanwhile I have a 57% catch rate on a pengullet, using hundreds of Ultra spheres to no success.

the first number that shows up when you throw a sphere at a Pal isn't it's catch chance, it's catch *charge*, every wobble fills up catch charge by a certain amount, and the starting number is just how much charge you start with by having damaged the enemy
this is technically also how older pokemon games work (it's slightly different but the same general principle), but since you can never actually see anything related to it, it isn't possible to get confused by it

Hoping the devs can meaningfully expand on what they have here in Palworld. Currently trying it on Gamepass and I'm already enjoying it more than I did Ark in a lot of ways. Really does have that early access stink to it though lol.

Me and my friends really enjoyed the game, but man does the midgame get horribly grindy. We multiplied the xp rate by 67, killing endgame bosses only level our characters 2 times. We would have had to kill those bosses 67 times to level up twice. There is a reason the most talked about part of the game is all in the beginning.

exploring the world on foot was fun the first time, but after that I started using fast mounts and movement tech like you did.

i found a loot box so jankily placed out in the desert half floating half buried on an island and i realized "oh so that's the level of design we're talkin" then i grinded for 1 billion hours and leveled up to find out i had to get another level to even be able to make the balls i could unlock at 44, because haha technology points
