1:25 - 1:40 the harmonics are pretty tasteful even Tim Henson himself said he hadn't thought of doing that. You've givin this cover a taste of your own style and technique no wonder you are champ. 🤘😁
For what I know that part was easy for him. What you meant maybe was the one at 2:43 - 3:04 where Tim really struggled
@@kevinbasel8401 I didn't say Tim Struggled. I said he had not thought of doing it. If you check Playing God playthrough Tim doesn't do 1:25 - 1:40 part in harmonics. The harmonics was Paolo Ganz flavor showing in this cover. Tim Henson even said it was cooler than the original.

Asking a question with "lol wtf" as a confused surprise expression is considered arguing for some. At least the ones that gave me some insight taught me something, while some try to sound smart themselves. Why not attend some communication class, if you couldn't differentiate wtf is a question and argument.
Did I mention the video lied? Did I say they are wrong? So proud and flexing just because you can hear some harmonics? Elitist much?
@@onedayiwillbegone2366 in "Polyphia Roasts Fan Covers" at 2:10 Tim literally says "Oh he's harmonic-ing this part? It's cooler than the original" and in Tim's unplugged version he literally doesn't use harmonics while Paolo uses harmonics lol, look at their left hand and you'll see it's clearly different.
2:42 the ability to add percussion while doing such a complicated line is crazy to me.
The fact that Tim mentioned to Rick Beato that he is having a hard time playing Polyphia songs on acoustic because of the steel string makes this cover even more impressive. Tim signature acoustic Ibanez with Nylon strings is made for him to make it easier for him to play Polyphia songs on acoustic.
To be fair to Tim, he has to play many Polyphia songs back to back live and only gets one take. Nonetheless this guy is really impressive.
I have always played 12’s on Electric - to be fair it makes the switch to Acoustic much more doable especially on this song. But this mad lad has a whole different galaxy of difficulty to play with
Also the strings of an acoustic being much harder, its also a matter of how callused your fingers are. If you are playing almost exclusively electric you wont have calluses as evolved as when you play acoustic hence when you then pick up an acoustic it hurts the fingers more quickly and your fingers wont have as much strength as an acoustic player

honestly percussion doesnt blow my mind as much as added bass notes in solo parts. i could imagine i makes fingering way trickier than without bass notes

i was just trying to learn the original, struggling, got bored and decided to surf youtube, ya know, maybe watch some guitarists worse then i am fail. Instead i find this masterpiece. The most impressive part of this is how beautifully you arranged the slower, middle parts, and really bringing out the essential parts of every instrument, including the drums. I'd assume most people would be like "alright time to take a break and make this simple", and while the technical part is much simpler than the opening riff, the arranging you did withe percussive sounds and filling in the bass is spectacular. Amazing!

For me this is the most impressive guitar cover of a song, tied along with Kent Nishimura's man in the mirror. Impeccable taste and technique. I can only wonder how many years of practice you must have to achieve this level of playing.

This is just ridiculously good. Learning one guitar part is hard enough, but the fact you've managed to tastefully add percussion, successfully play the bass notes and capture the essence of BOTH guitar parts is just mind-blowing in every way.
