To all the people that say Panda Express isn't real authentic Chinese food. Of course its not and it never claims to be. Its Chinese inspired American fusion.
It's nasty.
@@IdahoPohTaTohit’s delicious
Craving Chinese food and craving Panda Express are very different things, but I still crave them both plenty often
@@grantwlms That's from all the chemicals they put in it. Enjoy! ☠
@@IdahoPohTaToh I eat very healthy so when I get it once a month it’s a pleasure I can afford
As an American, you guys have really helped me appreciate all the little things we take for granted here. Much love from Georgia
Like the fact that Democrats cheated in the state of Georgia and big Fanny Willis is out of control😂😂😂
@@jeffhampton2767 Cry me a river.
@@jeffhampton2767, have you taken your meds? What are you rambling on about, and how does it apply here? Conservatives love calling folks snowflakes, but who can beat them crying in the comment section?

Panda express is not to be appreciated
Lol. From Senioa. Ifeel the smae way. Idk why people have to make things political. I'm on right....
I never thought I would enjoy watching a family eat at restaurants that I frequently visit but here I am😆😂
Something satisfying about seeing them love it😂
Panda Express isn’t a “restaurant”, it’s a chain takeout.
Nadine didn't offend Chinese people, the fortune cookie was created by a Japanese-American person in San Francisco, California. Marry Christmas guys🙏🎅🎄🥠
You just have to leave a small piece of the cookie instead of eating the whole cookie.
@@stevedavis5704 I love the flavor, just not the texture myself...milk can not even save it.
I've never heard anything about not eating the fortune cookie.....I always eat mine and don't care about the "fortune" anyway....lol
Also, crab rangoon, chop suey, and General Tso's chicken, all American creations! And something new to Chinese food was broccoli, as it is not indigenous to China!
@@KevinVenturePhilippines Broccoli is a cross between cauliflower and brussel sprouts so in reality it’s only native to a lab somewhere. If I understand correctly the Albert R. Broccoli from the production team of the James Bond movies is from the family of researchers. That’s how it got its name.
The best chinese food you’ll get in America is from a small family-owned restaurant where one of their kids is behind the cash register. No exaggeration, if you see a child running the cash register and takeout, that food is going to be amazing 😂
Except, when they use ally cat for the teriyaki because they think that real meat is too expensive.
Don't forget about the 5 year old doing homework in one of the booths :D
Ideally, said child should barely be able to see over the counter 😂
I watched 2 immigrant children grow up at the Chinese restaurant next door to my job of 5+ years
hahaha this is literally the chinese place a block away from me, lol
Yes, fortune cookies are very edible and people eat them all the time. They're almond cookies, to be specific.
I like them, my family usually give theirs to me.
At Chinese restaurants they usually serve 2 kinds of cookies. Almond cookies & fortune cookies. The almond cookie is round with an almond sliver gentley pressed into it's center. The fortune cookie is NOT an almond cookie. It is thin, folded in half once (after a small piece of paper with a fortune typed on it is placed inside of it) then bent in the opposite direction. I think I am safe in saying all Chinese food restaurants give them out, one to a customer, and delivered to the table along with the bill.
@coleensakamoto6844 Back home, at my cheap Chinese family spot, the ingredients were printed on the wrapper. It said almond extract oil and they tasted distinctly of almonds. Admittedly, I've lived abroad for 20 years, so maybe they're different now.
Also, I am not familiar with these almond sliver cookies. Not that I recall anyway.
I've only seen someone get a fortune cookie and not eat it a couple times in my life. I used to be a server at a sushi restaurant and we gave out fortune cookies a lot. I also always eat mine.
What kind of idiot thinks a fortune COOKIE is not edible?? Lol they’re delicious
Panda is to Chinese what Taco Bell is to Mexican.....😂 But it's my favorite and I'm glad you liked it!
True!! Lol!! But I still like it too!! 💕
But Panda Express is significantly better than Taco Bell!!!
Best comment!
Hahaha that reminded me of a guy I work with who was born here but his family were all born in Mexico. He loves Taco Bell and when I asked him why he didn't eat at a real mexican place he said his mom could make better at home lol.
exactly!
I’ve never said “that is yum” before in my life but I swear Nadine has me saying it all the time now with out even realizing until after. Lol I just normally say “this is good”
Nadine thrown under the bus once again 😂 you're such a good sport and a wonderful example to your kids... Amazing family
My Sister-in-Law, who's originally from Vietnam, manages a Panda Express at the Tucson mall...in Arizona.
Y’all had me with the “you’re not supposed to eat fortune cookies”!😂 I was about to comment and take Nadine’s side! Glad y’all liked Panda Express. I don’t eat it often but when I do I get the grilled teriyaki chicken with fried rice, sometimes the noodles. Now, I need to get me some!
I started to do the same thing----taking Nadine's side regarding the fortune cookies! Glad I waited a few seconds until I found out they were just funning with her! What a family! 😂😂 Ya gotta love 'em!
I always eat the fortune cookies! Love your reaction videos especially to food that American's take for granted. Well done.
Americans really don’t know how good we have it when it comes to fast food for the masses.
I'm literally obsessed with Panda Express. I get their orange chicken practically every other day.
I have a coworker who’s obsessed with the fried rice. She gets it after work cuz she’s super lazy to cook when she gets home. I crave their Beijing beef & orange chicken. Besides BTS - especially V - loves Panda Express 😂 It’s a thing… Love authentic Chinese food, too, but a Panda drive thru is so much more convenient. Wish there was a Panda like chain for Filipino food where I can get pancit bihon, chicken adobo, chocolate meat, Sinigang Na Bangus, lumpia (the fat ones), cassava cake and Halo-halo, turon, bibingka and bukon salad/bukon pandan and Melon Sago’t Gulaman; Goldilocks cheese rolls; and hot Longganisa and siopao chicken asado and lechon and La Paz batchoy all at one place! Too bad Filipino food gets slept on.
I love their orange chicken
Sad story😢... that place is literally the worst Chinese food I've ever had.
That's crazy Chinese food is so bad for you
@@RJKookieTell her that eating a lot of rice will give her diabetes. It's super bad for you because it's so processed.
Panda Express is fast food Chinese.
😂
Kind of like taco Bell with Mexican food.
😂
Also, I LOVE that y'all are more patriotic than most that live here in this country. And, you all appreciate every minor detail we Americans take for granted on a daily basis. Much love from Oklahoma.
😊
A little different than Taco Bell in terms of who were the founders but yes both fast food.
I worked at hospitals in Seattle right next to Chinatown. I grew up in the sticks but found my love for Chinese food. The fresh fortune cookies were incredible and melted in your mouth. If the come in a wrapper don't eat.
You don't eat the wrapper!!! The cookie is quite edible.
I love Panda Express! The sweet battered shrimp with walnuts are my favorite. I've been craving Panda Express lately.
Yep straight up 🔥🔥🔥. Personally I GOTTA hit each bite of that honey shrimp with their sriracha sauce. Seriously takes it to a different level
The best thing about Panda Express is that everything on the menu is made with real panda. Yum! 🐼🍽😋
😂😂😂
Unlike those liars with their "Girl Scout" cookies.

Happy Christmas eve to you too, I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas ❤
@@crimsonsaya3514 🤗🎅🏾 have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year❣️
I like Panda Express, it's pretty good for fast food and works in a pinch as a better option to burgers and fries.
Talking while you’re eating is a family thing, so NZ family talk away😂🎉❤
They're all extra EXTRA goofy in this video, and I love it! 😂

I live in San Francisco. There's an "authentic" version of every known Chinese cuisine somewhere in the Bay Area if not in the city itself, including outposts of some Hong Kong places. But I still go to Panda Express. Call it a guilty pleasure. It doesn't have to be authentic to be enjoyable. Most of their stuff is remarkably sweet, unlike "authentic" Chinese food. I have a sweet tooth. Works for me.
I find it ironic that at the time when the Cherng family opened their small family-run restaurant in Pasadena, serving a mostly non-Asian clientele, they had to lure customers with freebies and such - but in order to survive the founders ended up adapting and creating their own genre of fast-food - opening the first Panda Express at the Glendale Galleria food court. They basically adapted Chinese food to an American audience who were primarily shopping inside a mall.
I also have a sweet tooth and love Panda Express, but I also love hitting up the variety of asian cuisines in SGV and Alhambra and Monterey Park. Too many food snobs or Panda Haters don’t realize the incredible backstory of this iconic franchise. Panda Express food is enjoyable (my location and their cooks are consistently good) and totally convenient - that’s what keeps me coming back for more.
@@RJKookie What keeps me going back is Beijing Beef. I call it "beef candy". It would be a satisfying desert for many people, but hey, you like what you like.
true the Bay area is great for many more authentic foreign foods, its just to bad going there is like playing Russian roulette on if you get robbed, broken into or worse.
plus walking around the feces and used needles is a scary game variant of "dont step on the crack"
@@BTinSFLol beef candy is the perfect description! Beijing beef is my go-to and always with the orange chicken.
@@demonic7610 Yawn. This attitude is so 5 years ago and boring. You don't have to visit San Francisco to experience property crime and the consequences of homelessness. The Wall Street Journal, which has bashed San Francisco for years now, recently ran an article under the headline "Midsize Cities Struggle With Snowballing Homelessness". The article goes on to say, "Midsize cities like Grand Rapids are testing out new ways to handle unhoused populations that have surged since the pandemic, as a record spike in the nation’s homelessness numbers has grown far beyond expensive coastal areas with entrenched homelessness problems. The city’s efforts-which have been particularly wide-ranging-demonstrate the difficulties communities face trying to make a dent in reducing homelessness. The number of homeless people counted in Grand Rapids increased more quickly than the nation as a whole this year . . . ." By contrast, the number of people living on San Francisco's streets has been fairly stable at around 8000 for a number of years and they are concentrated mostly in the Tenderloin and Mission districts (thanks to the city's putting nearly all the services--soup kitchens,. shelters, drug rehab programs--for them in these neighborhoods). The Tenderloin has some great Indian food and the Mission is San Francisco's Hispanic neighborhood so if you want those foods, you may have to see a few tents (the feces on the sidewalk thing is vastly hyped) and people smoking something out of tinfoil. Guard your eyes, take an Uber to your restaurant there (don't drive your own car--smash and grabs are real) and don't worry about violent crime--the city is still one of the safest in that regard. Regarding the open drug use, also real, the Federal task force and the new DA are cracking down as hard as they can on the Central American (thanks Biden) drug gangs selling most of the fentanyl and ketamine and even the local judges are now rejecting plea deals that don't involve jail time ("sanctuary city" advocates are screaming).
In my area, Panda Express is inconsistent. I hope they found a good location, with good service.
Here as well, our last visit was bad.
Same for me. There are 2 about 2 miles either way of me, one is horrible but the other is very well run.
Your videos bring me so much joy. I've lived in the states all my life and only been out of country twice. I love the energy and enjoy your reactions
Like others have said, it's so interesting watching people enjoy restaurants that we take for granted.
i hope y'all have a good Christmas I love watching your videos I would send stuff if I had the money but seeing the joy on y'all's faces when you do is enough
I do love Panda Express, it's a very American chain though. Good tasting food for relatively cheap.
Panda Express was started by a guy from Taiwan, not China, as claimed by Wikipedia.
@@allanboyer2769 Taiwan is China if you ask in China, that's the reason for the U.S. being so involved with Taiwan.
Its not cheap anymore, it's way overpriced
Panda Express is very underrated, because it’s a chain place and we have so many unbelievable little mom and pop places.
I love it…my wife doesn’t…marriage isn’t easy.
Yep, those orange chicken KNUCKLES are the BEST!!!! beef and BROCCOLI, broccli is in caps because thats 90% of what you get!!!
As always, loved it. You are hilarious when you say "Packing on the pounds, baby.". I
couldn't have found a funnier guy eating Chinese. Love Panda Express myself. I highly
recommend the Honey Walnut Shrimp.
Oh man, Panda Express in our city sucks! We have made a family commitment to never go there again as their food is never the same, either cold one day or nothing right the next.
I've only been to Panda Express once and it was decent, but there are many more Chinese restaurants in the US that are better 😊
Panda Express is not authentic Chinese food, I’d rather go to a real Chinese restaurant.
Real Chinese restaurant. I don't crave Panda.
@@marydavis5234 Most chinese food in America isn't authentic. They changed stuff around to suit N. American tastes and ingredients available. You gotta go to a small family restaurant and ask for a different Chinese menu to get authentic stuff. That great wall, or golden dragon aint authentic either.
Totally agree!!!
Thanks for the entertainment on Christmas Eve! I wish you all of the best in 2024.

PS... I've been to 49 states, every province in Canada and 6 Continents... but the most beautiful place I've ever seen is in my own backyard... Yosemite National Park... next time you come, take a few days out and go see it... there is something for everyone there. Try to book reservations a year in advance... best time to go is late April/Early May as the snow is melting and the many waterfalls are at their fullest.
I served in the US Navy and seen a lot of Europe Asia, Middle East the whole planet is beautiful😂🎉

Panda Express is one of those restaurants. Where if you need to learn about someone. Ask what their go-to Panda order is. You'll learn so much.
I doubt Panda Express would get the Uncle Roger seal of approval.
Panda Express doesn't claim nor is real Chinese food. Its American fusion Chinese.

I just ate Mexican... we have a wonderful locally owned Mexican place here that is the best... I could seriously eat there every day... I swear they know me both on the phone and in person... they always know just what I want... they are so sweet there... But yeah Christmas Eve I got Mexican... but that's just because it's Sunday and we always get it on Sunday... I work weekends and I generally too tired to do much on Sunday so cooking is the last thing I want to be doing... One more night of work and then I'll be off for the next 3 days. But back to work again next weekend. So working both the holidays again. But someone has to do it. At least I'm only working the very early morning... but I'll be sleeping all day for Christmas and New Years... Hope you all have a wonderful Holiday and a Blessed New Year!
Seriously I have really grown to love watching you guys and your expressions and your experiences throughout the years 😎 you all are so great and wholesome. Makes me smile every time 😊
I grew up in Ogden Utah. It was once named Juntion City. Any town that was a train town in the states during the building of the railroad was lucky enough to have wonderful, authentic Chinese food. It lasted for a few decades. After some time. The grand children and their children went on to school and studied other subjects. Not many original Chinese restaurants in the train towns anymore. I sure do miss the ones in Ogden Utah though.
Happy holidays to the entire family.
Yes, you definitely eat the cookie. A fresh one is great, a stale one is the pits!😂😂😂 Hugs from N.C..❤
You guys make me appreciate what we have here in America!
Panda is so good! Their best items for me, are orange chicken, teriyaki chicken, chow mein, and honey walnut shrimp. YUM!
Honey walnut shrimp!
@@loug8619 yep!
I actually buy boxes of fortune cookies at Panda as I like that they are not too sweet. Fortune cookies were invented by a Chinese restauranter in San Francisco in the 1900's. They originated from the cookies which Japanese immigrants to the US made in the nineteen century. In 1992 a food company tried to introduce them in China but failed since the Chinese considered them too American.
How could you not like this family they have a good time and enjoy life ❤👍
33 year old Californian here. My first job was at panda and I got a free meal every lunch break. As much as I wanted. Needless to say I put on some weight lol. Cheers yall. Happy new year
Looking forward to watching your Panda Express experience. I ate there tonight and literally just finished filling out their online survey then clicked on YT and see your video waiting for me.
My daughter, granddaughter, and I recently had to stay in a hotel near Universal Studios Orlando at the end of a move to a new home because I am disabled and bed-bound. I placed an order from Panda Express for the first and last time! The food was horrible.
We love Panda Express. Its 1 of my girls absolute favorite restaurant. We call it Panda, and she asks for it ALL the time. My kids get teriyaki chicken with noodles and I do orange chicken with fried rice. And then we get 2 spring rolls per person because we love them so much. I've never seen the apple rolls, but they may be new or just not at the one near us.
Glad yall enjoyed the food!
I have been watching you guys a long time. Every video y’all put out I watch. And every time it brings lots of smiles to my face. I don't feel like anyone would argue that Panda Express is the best Chinese they have ever had ( if they have access to other decent Chinese restaurants), but it's certainly consistent, quick, and convenient when you need something semi quick to eat for lunch or dinner.
My favorite at Panda Express is the Sweet Fire Chicken Breast and the Beijing Beef. Glad you guys enjoyed it!❤
Panda Express is pretty good fast food. Living in a very rural area our family decided to cook all our own ethnic foods. Tastes so much better.
Eat the cookie...it is suppose to make your fortune true lol
How about if your fortune said you're going to die soon would you delete the cookie? 🤔😆😁
I always eat the cookie as well 😄

Even though Panda Express is "Americanized" Chinese food, it is still great tasting and very filling. Especially when you are on the run. You guys missed the best dish on the menu though! The Honey Walnut Shrimp is the best choice in the place! Try it if you can!
I love the fortune cookies, my kids give me theirs to eat also. They are yum.
We love that you guys love the Americanized Chinese food. You deserve a second trip back to the States. We have more cities for you to visit with more food. 🇺🇸 ❤New Zealand.
Ah man, I'm an unbelievably jealous because I absolutely adore Panda Express. Panda Express is easily in the top 5 of favorite fast food chains. Before moved out and flew to live a few states over, I worked on the family business and after closing up, we would stop by Panda a few times a week because we just enjoyed the food so much. Half n Half Fried Rice and Chow Mein with some Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp with an Egg Roll was always my major go-to everytine we went. It was always on the drive back home but, now, where i live, the closest is in a town that's an hour away. I remember one time, being genuinely annoyed with one of my housemates because he had gone to said town to run some important errand and got Panda Express since it was nearby yet, didn't offer to get me any despite knowing our shared major enjoyment of the place. Looking back at it, it's funny that i was so upset but, man, I wish one would open up around here.
i have to say your son denzy is a funny little guy , he is a little comedian , kid can be an actor . glad you had fun here
TO ADD TO THE FLAVOR: There's quite a few sauces that add to the flavors... it's like Eating at Taco Bell... The Secret's in the Sauces!
We don’t get Panda Express very often since the closest one is over an hour away. My favorites are the Bejing Beef and Sweet Fire Chicken. They sell a Panda Express sweet chili sauce at the grocery stores now that is marvelous. It’s not the same as the sauce in the packets. I love it.
I love y'all! I'm glad you are having a great time experiencing the US. Thank you for being so positive
Panda Express is a solid fast food alternative. Very consistent.
I dont know if its the one by me but i have not had anything that makes me want to go back its like a bad food court Chinese food
Has anyone else noticed that the Chinese Restaurants are the only ones, beside fast foods, that are open on Christmas day. We, as a family, usually grab take ouke from a good Chinese restaurant for dinner on Christmas day. There are usually 10 - 20 people here, so everyone stops and grabs their favorite items and we all share everything. Its a great variety of different foods you normally don't try. Randy...from Oklahoma.
In our family we always eat the fortune cookie. We say if you don't need it it's bad luck. And my brother buys a box of fortune cookies from HEB because his son loves to eat them
😍❤Team orange chicken all day! 🍊+🐔=🎆✨🎇
I’m laughing so hard right now!! Fortune cookies are delicious with a hint of coconut. Very American treat not Chinese. Interesting history worth looking up. Most are manufactured in New York and in March 2005, 110 lottery players had the same numbers. Normally it’s only three to five players. The FBI investigated and discovered the Fortune Cookie manufacturer had hand picked the numbers. Because of this the lottery numbers on the back are now machine picked and variable each day.
I love watching you guys! You’re the best! This is Holli straight from East Dallas!! Please keep posting your videos!!
The real treat for me is that a pint of extra veggies is only 4.00 and makes it healthier. My dog Koko (RIP) liked Chinese food day or leftovers because he got the fortune cookie. Most restaurants also serve an almond cooki which are delicious.
Just for fun. after you read your fortune cookie for the kids always add the phrase..."In the bathroom", they crack up!
For the adults add..."in the bedroom".
A lot of people put Panda Express down as being junk fast food, but I love both the Bejing Beef and Orange Chicken and think it is as good as any sit down Chinese restaurants in my area.
It is junk fast food
I see Atlanta's expression before I even watch, and I agree.
It's like she only won a silver medal...
Panda was a mom & pop restaurant in Pasadena, Calif; since then they have expanded.
Spending time with the family is always great
As a Texan, my family keep telling me it's wild I've never had Panda Express instead of giving me free Panda Express like😃??

Panda Express is good but way overpriced for the small amount of food you get. I usually go to the mom and pop Chinese fast-food restaurants. They're cheaper and the portions are huge!
This was by far my favorite video of you guys to date. I ADORE the complete silliness of this video 🥰🥰🥰💕💕💕
Been watching you since your sports reaction video days. I’ve always loved how sincere you were in your videos.
Your family is the exact same and I love how passionate you guys are. Makes me realize how much we take for granted here in America! Also inspires me to want to try more things with my wife and son.
Much love to you guys from here in Texas!
Panda express, I would be surprised if it was good, American style Chinese food is mostly hit or miss. Local restaurants ( not a franchise ) usually are the better choice, When it comes to chinese food in the U.S. , In my opinion.
I agree
I've eaten there, locally, two times...and both times made me sick. Never again, and Good Luck!
I would never be able to share like this with my family, its great to see it ❤
A Panda Express chef invented Orange Chicken. It has become one of the most popular Chinese/American dishes.
Panda Express is simply not good. Thirty years ago, it was passable in a pinch. Now, it's Chinese food for people who somehow don't like Chinese food.
I would argue that panda express isn't in the Chinese food genre. (definitely not the right term but you get what I mean) If you're approaching it from the perspective of Chinese takeout, you're doing it wrong. It's a category of its own. Kind of like Taco Bell. You don't go there for authentic Mexican cuisine.
Always love Dad's reactions!😂😊
Your family is a joy to watch.
Atlanta was really sassy in this one 😂 and the “make sure the subscribe button is grey” is the best way to put that I think I’ve ver heard.
I’ve never had a Panda Express experience that’s that enjoyable. Glad you found one that’s good and fresh!
You guys are some Brave Folks. Panda Express quality varies Wildly depending on location & time of Day you stop in. Our Local PE sometimes serves minimal portions that have been sitting in the warmers for Too Too Long, to the point where the food is almost inedible. I noticed you guys weren't as excited as your Texas BBQ stop-in for Brisket & Burnt Ends.
I love the way they say "pander express," its so funny! I could eat orange chicken every day.
They also say "Atlanter" 😅
In other parts of the country, where there are a lot of south East Asian families, Panda Express is just a place in a mall cafeteria if local at all. It’s easily the worst “Chinese” food you can find where I live. And you have to go to a food court to find it.
The daughters face when she does the peace sign behind the sons head lol 😂
From someone who grew up on authentic Chinese food I can say that Panda Express is dog food. Like wow it's bad...
Glad to see all of you enjoying this wonderful country! USA! USA!
Happy Holidays from New Mexico, USA
Ok, now I want some Panda Express!! Problem is, it's 115 Miles away across snowy wasteland! You guys are all awesome, wish I had a family like yours. Merry Christmas Christmas!
