- Howdy, folks! This short video shows off some footage of the new Partner System in DFC v2.5.0. How it works is that you can encounter a "Corruption", which is a fight against one of the 53 vessels in the game, and if you defeat the corruption you will unlock that character as a partner! You can call a partner with your CELL to have them follow you in the overworld and grant you bonuses in battles. The more you use a partner, the more your friendship with them will grow, and the more these bonuses will increase! Also, fighting or sparing corruptions makes no difference, you still unlock them either way!
Don't let the video fool you though, corruption battles are not this easy to encounter. They're very rare, so you'll need to work hard to find all of the available partners in the game!

Hey, its that worth it buy sans partner? Im playing at mobile and that was really hard to dodge bone attack, my LV is 48 and im have enough G for buy 1 partner
By the way, are make every POG to 999 will still make enemies encounter always gold? Version 2.6.0

It would be cool if having a partner made the fight style deltarune and you could change partners skins

Not only would that defeat the purpose of using it in DF Story Mode, but that'd be ridiculously difficult to implement.

You can change the skin of a partner with,, 3,, if you are on pc
I dunno about everyone else, but I'm just happy Niko's a playable character/skin :v

I am so HYPED for this! And finally gold will be useful again in the late game xD Because the only thing you could do with gold once you buy everything from Undernet etc. was to buy pogs (I still want to grind every pog to 999 and yes, everything is fine with me ;3)
Also the revamped menu and everything looks amazing. It'll get some time to get used to, but it's just like everyone got used to once the new DF was first released ;d

there are so many cool things this feature could bring even with stuff such as the bonuses you get from have a specific vessel and partner equiped, maybe having chara as a partner to undyne or mettaton lets them use a undyne the undying or mettaton neo skin, or for pvp based features maybe having sans as a partner could get rid of the enemies invincibility frames at the cost of lessening the damage, or papyrus occasionally lending assistance in battle in the form of a few bones to help out during attacks or turning someone blue or if they don't need to have a function in pvp then they could just be there in the background. Dumb optional features are fun in to explore in games dumb like having a temmie partner as a temmie just has your pvp sprite feature a small horde temmies. I hope more comes of this feature in the future.

Hi, Ricky. I'm really enjoying your game and I have a suggestion for the game. I would very much like you to add a system where players could use their own sprites in the game. I know you may be concerned about what people can do with this system, but it could be easily avoided using a sprite rejection or approval system, it would be very innovative for the game and fun.

The corruption battle is rare and i got it 8 times and never killed the corruption soo i was suffering and played for 600 min trying to level up enough to get a partner
So cool. I and my friend very enjoy your game. It would be cool if player can press z to other player to do something like pvp or add friend.

Hey Ricky... i was playing the old multiplayer and i found something in Lavander town and i hope there will be an answer to that.
an improvement i would suggest is that they shouldn't deal too much damage, not forcing you, but it's up to you if you want to add this
guys on some partners you can chance their forms by pressing button 3 (on pc) i tested on my partner mettaton and it worked

So you can also kill the corruption i taught you can only convince it i had 3 and tried to convince but died at 40 percent but whats the chance to get a corruption thing

It would be epic if when you fight someone with a buddy, your buddy appears right next to you in your battle sprite.
That's gonna be not fair though, if you fight someone who dont have a partner

it in the parnter menu if you spend 5000000 gold do you buy them all automatically or do you buy only 1 per 5000000?

There should be a way to play 2 Player offline [Kinda like how local play works in terraria] this way it can be so much more fun.
There already is! If you play in Offline Mode, you can go into your CELL menu and select the "2-PLAYER" button! That way you can play together with a friend on the same computer!

There is no Chapter 2. Chapter 1 of 2019's Don't Forget is being replaced with the single game "DON'TFORGET Story Mode," hopefully coming out in fall.
