@@wildandfreevictoria Me too! When I saw that you were shooting with the 200mm I said a little prayer for you because you probably want to sell your other kidney to buy it! :) I lucked out and got a used copy cheap-ish. I wish camera hear didn't cost so much. :( But that's what I love about Fuji - The gear isn't cheap, but the high end Fuji gear is financially less painful that other full-frame offerings.
Just loving this series… if you’re like me you’ll be planning your next trip. I’ve now been to Finland on four occasions to photograph bears ( just can’t get enough ) . Carry on enjoying your adventures and just being you ❤
Thank you for this! This made me smile! And yes, I am already thinking of the next adventure. I would love to go to Svalbard one day and see polar bears, that has always been my dream. Maybe one day! I bet Finland was amazing too, i’ve heard lots about it. Thank you and I will do 🙏🏻☺️🤍🌲
Hi Victoria, just wanted to say that this was an incredible video! Your photographs and videos of the Bears in their natural habitat is just simply breathtaking. I am deeply envious of your experience! 😊 Also, never apologize for showing your feelings, or tearing up. I’ll be honest I was tearing up a little bit just watching some of that footage. Those beautiful creatures are just incredible! I also offer a suggestion for something you could cover in the future, perhaps you could talk about your actual process for filming and creating your videos? I’m an older guy and all I’ve ever done really is photography. I own XT -5,and an XH-2, which are brilliant video cameras but I’m a bit befuddled by all of it. 😂 Anyway, keep up the amazing work, enjoy your time in the wild, and never ever apologize for being human and having emotions!❤ P.S. I’m missing Erik! 😊
Hey Victoria, I discover you just now. I was wandering on the tube looking for videos about bear photographing. I understand what are your feelings, I went to Finland 2 years ago for the same reasons and I'll be back there on monday! The bears are fantastic animals, the most impressive thing that I discovered was how silents they can be when they move, you can't literally hear them coming. In one hand it was very surprising, on the other hand was that I discovered how vulnerable I was out there. In some ways I felt like a lamb. How is your impression about that? GREAT job!
I must apologise for only just stumbling across your vlog, you photography and video work is incredible and will be following from now on, keep up the fantastic work..👌👍
Aww this is sweet! Do not apologise, it is ok! You are here now and enjoying the videos, so it is all ok! Thank you for your kind words, it’s much appreciated 🙂🙏🏻
Ah I can imagine it is scary! I live in Scotland where there are no big predators but when I was in Slovenia and went walking in the evening I found it quite scary and kept looking around for bears. I heard there are lots of bears in Slovenia as well

This has to have been the experience of a lifetime! And £50 for that gimbal? That’s a steal, about $63 US. I paid $95 US for the same one, roughly £75.
It was indeed, absolutely incredible ☺️ and yes £50! I was super happy with it! I think I got the last one in stock 😄 ahh i’m sorry you paid more but glad you have the same one as it’s great 🙂🙂
Wow! Your willingness to share your emotion just adds to the thrill !! Love your passion for capturing the beauty of God’s creation. Your camercraft is superb- well done. Didn’t use the TC convert on 200mm? Looking forward to your next adventure. PS a few years I was camping and canoeing in Canada and was petrified at the the thought of bumping into a bear! I was soooo scared. Saw foot prints and that was enough to raise my heart rate
Aw thank you, I can’t help it - i wear my heart on my sleeve ☺️ Thank you and this world is so beautiful with so much to see, it’s all been amazing. I didn’t use the TC because I didn’t really feel I needed to, I was quite enjoying the wider shot but also the base F-Stop with the TC was 2.8 and without it is 2.0 so I just stuck with it off :) Ooo wow you were brave to go camping and I bet that is a very scary experience!! Ah I would be too paranoid and not be able to sleep! But Canada does look super magical for camping 🙂
It is probably about an hour and a half drive South from Ljublijana. That is cool you used to work there, it is a very beautiful place to live and yes, very very lovely people! 🙂
I really enjoy your videos !!! I shoot photos, no video and I'm looking to upgrade the XT3. Which camera would you recommend between the XT5, XH2, and XH2 s??? It would be an all around camera, but lately I'm enjoying birding. I would appreciate your opinion, thanks.
Fantastic series of videos, I really like and appreciate your approach - I hope Fuji is sponsoring you and helping to fund your travels it would be nice to see more. Thanks 😊
Aw thank you! Everyone has been so kind and lovely - including yourself and I cannot tell you how grateful I am. I would be amazing if Fuji did sponsor me or support some trips, maybe one day they might I would happily accept! 🤞🏻🙂
Gorgeous images of gorgeous animals. Not only here but virtually every other UA-cam wildlife channel has really irritating music when there are natural sounds of the forest.
Ah well I am sorry you found it irritating, I actually really enjoy putting music with my footage - that is my style. Although you can create footage yourself in your own way. unfortunately when I was recording the sounds of the forest all I could hear was me breathing or the moving of my camera on the gimbal - as I was sat in a hide. But yes, if you like it without then start creating your own content in your own way, would be great to see ✌🏻
Not sure if it’s just my imagination, but were there at least two bear families? One with baby cubs and one with teens? Still did not see them scoffing hunny. 😂😂
Incredible. Very family friendly. Your production is literally something mothers and fathers could watch with their young children. Thank you so much.

Thank you and I will do 🙏🏻☺️🤍🌲
Very beautiful video, you are the best.
Aww this is so sweet! well you are the best ☺️✌🏻☀️
Sehr schön 🙏 Danke
Vielen dank ☺️🙏🏻
Cool!😀
Thank you ☺️
Hi Victoria, just wanted to say that this was an incredible video!
Your photographs and videos of the Bears in their natural habitat is just simply breathtaking.
I am deeply envious of your experience! 😊
Also, never apologize for showing your feelings, or tearing up.
Anyway, keep up the amazing work, enjoy your time in the wild, and never ever apologize for being human and having emotions!❤
I live in Slovenia and sometimes I m afraid to go into the forest and hills because we have a lot of bears for such a small country
Ah I can imagine it is scary! I live in Scotland where there are no big predators but when I was in Slovenia and went walking in the evening I found it quite scary and kept looking around for bears. I heard there are lots of bears in Slovenia as well
@@wildandfreevictoriav glavnem so v jugovzhodni Sloveniji. Imam 60 let , živim pri Kranju, veliko sem v naravi, pa v življenju še nisem videl medveda ali volka. Še lisico morda 3x.
Great video 👍
Thank you ☺️

Awesome video thanks for sharing ❤❤❤❤❤ My prefernce and prefer Nikon 800E with a 70-200 2.8 it’s awesome dual!
Thank you very much! ☺️ and I have never shot with Nikon, but I know a lot of people who do and it looks great! I just love Fujifilm 🙂 happy shooting! ✌🏻
I didn’t use the TC because I didn’t really feel I needed to, I was quite enjoying the wider shot but also the base F-Stop with the TC was 2.8 and without it is 2.0 so I just stuck with it off :)
Ooo wow you were brave to go camping and I bet that is a very scary experience!! Ah I would be too paranoid and not be able to sleep! But Canada does look super magical for camping 🙂
You have a pair of beautiful eyes! ^^
Aw thank you ☺️

Really nice photos & video. Beats my blue jays and cardinals I took a couple of days ago
Ah not at all, keep doing what you are doing and enjoy it 🙂
how far from Ljubljana is this? I used to work there but never got out there, want to go back for a visit, its a lovely place with lovely people.
It is probably about an hour and a half drive South from Ljublijana. That is cool you used to work there, it is a very beautiful place to live and yes, very very lovely people! 🙂
❤
Thank you 🙂
Thank you for the great video. BTW I bought a variable ND filter from K&F Concepts and it, too, was a bargain; works just fine🎉🎉🎉
Thank you for watching! Well this is great to read, I am honestly so pleasantly surprised by their gear, i’ll have to try their filters as well!
If you can get over the lack of the manual dials from the X-T series get the X-H2S. Compaired to the X-T5 the AF is better and the buffer is huge.
👍👍👍👌
Thank you ☺️
Gorgeous images of gorgeous animals.
I have no idea to be honest! I think you are right but I am still not sure!
Hehe I will do my best to find the honey munching bears 🐻😄😄
