  • Welcome to DAY 2 of the Flexibility Yoga Challenge! In today's class, we are focusing on hip flexor flexibility with a series of sequences and drills that will strengthen and stretch your hip flexors. You will need a strap (or something similar) to assist you for this class and I recommend if you have sensitive knees to pad your knees as we will be spending a lot of time in positions like lunge that put a lot of weight on the knee joint.

    I’m so happy I found this little series! After rhe 30 day challenge I have been exploring your collection of videos. I had been dealing with what I was told is called “yoga butt”. A really really painful knot like or strain pulled muscle feeling in the glute and hammy down to the knee and up my lower back. Now that that is healed I’ve been careful but I’m surprising myself with my flexibility! I did pretty well! I have not seen The almost last pose where we moved our calf muscles away since maybe…may or early June? And I could basically just kneel with my feet out a bit. I did it! I could sit back and bend my elbows into a right angle!! Also, the amount I was able to sink forward in low lunge surprised me. I haven’t hung out in low lunge for that long- maybe ever? I feel powerful. I think I want to do this series regularly- I did all of my time tonight between 6 and 9. At 6:00 I did the first one in this series. I like it. A different type of way to work my body. Yay! 😊

    Super challenging for me as I am not flexible with my hips ! It was also super painful for my knees even with padding ! Thank for that challenge, can’t wait for tomorrow challenge ! 😁

    The lever lean backs were challenging in a great way, should definitely work on that. Used a small yoga pad for the knees and what a huge difference it made in comfort.

    This was incredible for my left hip flexor that has been tight, intermittently, for a long time. I wish I found this long ago, this is the best stretch I've had for this!

    After completing video, I m having pain in ankle whenever I try to straighten it please someone recommend

      I think maybe you put your wieght on your ankle or twisted with pressure on it instead of your legs. I Can't really recommend something specific as I'm not an expert, maybe massage would help, but I hope it's nothing serious and you're feeling better now

      I felt the same a while back, u went too deep into the pose, next time better lisen to ur body, I just stopped doing yoga for a while and my ankle came back to normal but if it keeps hurting go see a doctor, I wish u the best and I hope this comment can help someone
