And here he was on the Nets laughing as they lost. Guess what? Despite this "horrible behavior" Nets fans had nothing but love for him. I wonder why he wanted to leave Toronto...
I've been a Nets fan for over 20 years, I don't know what happened there but the way he quit on that team I thought was inappropriate. He ruined his own trade value and everything then immediately got healthy afterward. He had a game-winning dunk against the Raptors later when he was here, I just felt gross about it.
@@EGarrett01 He only quit on them after they quit on him essentially for being hurt. He didn't get healthy right away either, there was a delay for his recovery after the trade. My point in this comment is you can see the ridiculous slander even the Toronto media focused on him. Toronto is the variable. Every other stop Vince had afterwards he was beloved, even winning NBA wide awards for best teammate and best sportsmanship. And I loved that dunk, the game winning three, and eliminating TO from the playoffs from him on the Nets. They deserved it.
@@mikesannitti6042 The 5 games before the trade he averaged 13 ppg. The 5 games after the trade he averaged 24 ppg. He tanked on his own team and that's not alright.
@@gabeagca2758 Every team that has ever won a championship has gotten luck along the way. Bucks, Lakers, Warriors, Cavs have all gotten a lot of luck. The Raptors dominated the original Warriors team with Klay/Dray/Steph. It wasn't competitive, they won like 19-24 quarters.
Vince Carter as a villain was a fun time. Love it when players embrace that evil spotlight
What a dumb comment laughing while ur team is losing that just shows you how much today players care only about their self an not the team
He was laughing at the face his friend made 😂 ik that laugh
I was at this game. Raptors won
Why the commentator so mad. They down 9 with 6 minutes left. Hella time. Chill
Leads used to mean something

It took them 15 years to win after he left. It was a completely different franchise by that point.
