You can't hate on these guys, Toronto was a different city basketball wise in the late 90s and early 2000s, I'm pretty sure if this type of fan affair, media exposure and respect existed in Toronto, Vince, T-Mac, Bosh would never want to leave T.O. I understand they get paid to be here in Toronto for media coverage with ESPN but all 3 of them genuinely love the city and the organization otherwise they would not come back and do appearances and etc. For me, it's water under the bridge, Vince prolonged his career and is still playing in the league, T-Mac was crazy good in Orlando/Houston and Chris Bosh - many all-star selections, 2x champion, gold medalist and more I'm happy for what they accomplished in their careers.
💯💯 It was a different time, different organization, different circumstances. None of them have anythinf bad to say about the city and its fans.

Toronto's this third largest market in the nba behind New York and la so I'm pretty sure we'd be able to maintain a team even without those legends.
I know for a FACT if these 3 played together in their prime in Toronto, this would’ve been a Championship Super Team, no question about it. Just imagine Bosh, T-Mac, and Vince on the same team, and at one point we even had Mr. Big Shot Chauncey Billups in the late 90’s before he developed the Pistons into a championship team. That’s 4 All Stars right there. It’s a real shame that the 2 cousins never won an NBA Ring though.

@@justpineapple9098 Damon was a phenomenal player in his rookie year but he didn’t want to stay in Toronto unfortunately bc his roots were in Portland hence the trade to the Blazers. But Billups, Bosh, Carter and T-Mac were all essentially from the same generation… the fit would’ve been better with those 4 guys at the helm and honestly we wouldn’t need Damon Stoudamire bc these guys would’ve gotten the job done.

For a franchise less than 30 years old the Raptors low key have an impressive alumni of players, Vince Carter, Tracy McGrady, Chris Bosh, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kawhi Leonard.
I don't have any ill will for any of these guys, everything happened for a reason and it ended with a championship for the Raptors just 24 years into our existence...when it looked at many points like we'd never win anything.

Matthew Bradley Chris Bosh will never be at the level of VC though. He got lucky in Miami. He was an all star player but not a superstar. VC could control the game by himself. Bosh could do it on some nights but VC could do it every night. VC total points for his career was over 25K he is in the top 20 all time. Bosh no where near VC. And don’t say “injuries” because Vince was injured a lot too. Had he not been injured, you’re looking at north of 28K points. Don’t ever try to say management wanted Bosh more than VC. Stop trying to disrespect the greatest Raptor ever. Without VC, they would have been the other Vancouver Grizzlies that would have been bought out by an American Owner. So relax their buddy. Raptors were a bad franchise back from mid 90s to early 2010s. Outside 2000-2001 all were 1st round exists. The Raptors drafed busts and did no make good players signs. When they drafted well was a little to late when Bosh was in 2003 and Derozan in 2009. Demar Derozan stayed loyal to the Raptors becaude they make good signs and trades and drafted decent role players. Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka helped in those 50 plus seasons. Dywane Casey is a good coach too. They got defeat by prime Lebron James when they got good experience in the postseason.
So I guess Toronto FC championship win a few years ago doesn’t count. Haha
