I remembered NBA Live 2004😃
Vince, Tracy, and kobe were the pullup midrange masters back in the day. Oo and a.i. too
can't forget Paul Pierce too during this Era.
@@Crunchysopa52
Facts him too.... and you could even add kevin Garnett as well
@@bobbyvalentino6773 yup, KG for sure. he was also the king of the long elbow 2s for a long time, lol
@@Crunchysopa52
Lol off that pick n pop. And even if he had it in isolations in Minnesota. But he was the 1st PF i ever seen pullup midrange off the dribble lol
His game looked so refined here, no additional unnecessary dribbles, just right to the point, he also wasn't even dunking alot, just pure finesse and creativity
I loved Chuck broadcasting Raptors game. Voice of Chuck Swirsky in his TOR era and Marv Albert in the Nets era made his plays so memorable.
Yeah. Chuck’s cool. I REALLY liked John Saunders(RIP), though!
Ian Eagle during the Nets era was great as well. Great combo of announcers for those memorable highlights!
Back when mid range was still big now it's a loss art
This man's offensive explosiveness and ability to get to the hole creativity and athleticism is unlike any other 03 04 was like he had it all together this man needs no credit from main stream we VC fans appreciate me Carter and you to MAX keep all of the good work up
VC's prime seaons are full of beauty and creativity
such a smooth and graceful offensive talent. even into the tail end of his career. gonna miss him so much
You have made my last weeks with these videos. I find myself every morning thinking "will be this day another VC/Max day?" Thanks from Spain, Vincerrorist :D
That opening track is GOLD!!!
Carter the last of the 2000’s still hoopin, it’s gonna be wild when he retires
Cant wait for VC career high mixtape after this season is over! Maxamillion = GOAT of VC mixtapes since VCO.net! Have been dl/watching your mix since the beginning! Much appreciated bro!
I can wait many more years until vc retires
I would pay to watch every one of these games. Good job!
The layup @ 20:17 is lovely!
Amazing
You showing a lotta love to VC lol and I like it keep grinding Quick Question: Whens your next mix?
Gotta wait for new 19-20 footage to happen first!
VC Legendary
Honestly, he has a deeper bag than Kobe, TMac, Pierce, and Ray Allen🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Gold mine 😎
3:55 Is there another instance of VC dribbling behind his defender's back? I feel like I've seen VC do that before, but this is my first time seeing a lot of his '03-04 highlights
The lost season of Vince due to injuries. Those red threads were pure fire though and gave us the current colorways that we know of the Raptors today.
Well he did play in 73 games. He was pretty healthy the whole season. 2003 was more the lost season IMO.
I stand corrected. I switched those two seasons up. He only played 43 games in 2003.
@@MaxaMillion711 This was my first season watching Vince but I was pretty young. What did you think of his play that season at the time? I remember him playing well but the stats weren't as good as his other healthy Raps seasons or when he went to the Nets later. I know he was criticized for his play with the Raps the following season but how was he viewed this season?
Not to be that old guy, but players actually had to be super elite to score these days, footwork, handles, ability to create, make tough shots. None of this "oh you can shoot? We'll protect you". Like just look at this man work, it's incredible, elite
03-04 was a lower scoring year too. I always remember Pistons holding everyone under 70 points.
@@MaxaMillion711 yeah it made them better, forced them to become more creative and you rarely see it nowadays to this degree of mastery. As much as I love Vince, a big reason why he's still playing today is because it's so damn easy to get open.
Next year will have the best highlights, 01 being a close second.
9:16 that was insane
looking at no box score, no achievements , if an alien came down to earth they would think this man is the GOAT just off eye test. full amazing VC15
Half man. Half amazing.
Do u have the Kobe Bryant 2003-04 full throwback highlights
Not full, but yeah I have Kobe highlights already posted. “Birth of the Mamba”
Where are you getting these
Old games from?
Most of these I recorded myself as a kid. But a lot of the earlier raptor stuff I acquired from collectors around the world
I thought that he would be the next MJ, but then Kobe took that mantle. No one could block his jumpers when he got it going.
Indeed his toughest season
This was the season Toronto fans complained about vince not dunking as much anymore
Yeah but after 3-4 years in the league every highflyer (good example recently: Blake Griffin) slows down a bit and the (crazy) dunks become more infrequent.
This is because of drama with management. He wanted out of Toronto and played bad intentionally to get his way.
His dunking was so feared back then that the defense used to give him jump shots 😂😂😂
😥😢😔
He's really leaving us at the end of this season... Isn't he?
😭
When can you do a similar season-by-season compilation for Kobe, like you did for 2005-06? Kobe's 1996-2005 seasons are nowhere to be found on UA-cam.
Can we get a Kyrie layup compilation???
0:13 Was VC still hobbled (quad/ankles/etc) throughout the season, or did he never have the explosive quickness to blow by Richard Jefferson? TMac routinely left RJ in the dust during the 2003-2007
Han D he wasn’t too injured during the season. I mean, just ask Tracy at 20:20
Joe Johnson??
Year if VC III
Did he score 39 pts in the first game?
Yes. And the game winner 👏👏👏
Back in the days of Milt Palacio, Lamond Murray Donyell Marhsall Micheal Curry
Just think…He almost led that team to The Playoffs that year!
10:51-10:54 Vince trademark crossover, he never really had a crafty dribble
taylor mccoy agreed - it's like some years he was a crafty ball handler and other years he liked to keep it basic - sometimes he just flat out looked like he oughta work on his handles a bit more in the offseason to add to his scoring arsenal - but he was spoiled in that he was such a great and creative finisher that he didn't need to dribble all that much
People forget that VC played in an era where D was allowed. Hand checking etc. He dropped 43 on the best defense that year in that stacked Pistons number rated defense. Imagine what he would do in this era of soft NBA rules today? Lol 😂
VC would dominate in this era as he would score 35 a game lol 😆
VC still dominated the 00’s averting 24 a game for an entire decade where you were allowed to play D. Not like todays NBA where it absolutely favors the offensive player.
💯. Also he played where spacing was much tighter and he was the only offensive threat on his team. Imagine if you surrounded him with shooters where you couldn’t just double VC every time.
@@MaxaMillion711 or triple teams lol 😂
It's a testament to Vince's athleticism, touch around the basket and shooting ability that he's scored so many points, because his handle was very basic.
Basic?!?! Lol 😂
My man had people wobbly because the threat to drive to the rim.
Where’s the dunks at
In the next video, he has been doing it like this for a while. A video for non-dunking offense highlights, and another one for the dunks.
he was always off balance or contorting on every jumpshot, thou i guess when you have that type of body control it probably feels on balance
The only complain i have for vince is he didn't developed his handles as much as his contemporaries like kobe and t-mac.
He dribbles so low and prone to losing the ball in douboe teams
He was just as good as kobe, shameful, no championship.
