Great question. With this projector (considered medium or long throw), you would want a matte white projector without a lot of shine. You can get a motorized one from the ceiling like I have, or a motorized floor one. Be happy to send a link to either. lmk

According to a contributor ZDNet, this thing closer to 250 ANSI brightness than the 500 ANSI that's listed in the specs. Do you feel as though this is really as bright as they claim, or does it fall short there like the ZDNet article states?
Great question. It is very bright for a portable projector. It works better when used as a shorter throw (around 100-120 in screen). When I moved it back to make it 200 it did lose some luminance. But that's typical with most even high end projectors. I was impressed with the price for what you get (initially under $200).

this is a little off topic but you seem to be the only one to answers questions. have you had or noticed any problems with the Firestick lite and notifications of not being able to download an app due to not enough space available? I have second gen firesticks that have many more apps installed and still enough space to load more. thanks

I actually really love it. It's portable so easy to bring over to other rooms or travel with. It works great outside by the pool also. We have a 120 motorized screen, but any white screen works. This is the screen we use: amzn.to/3JK7Sj8

We have a video on blokada already on the channel. It works fine to block redirects and pop up ads. But nothing with block everything.

Happy New Year C.C. I have Xfinity as my Internet provider along with SterlingTV and express VPN and I’ve gotten a message from Xfinity advance security saying we have blocked a malicious IP from Russian federation from accessing the Firestick. What do I need to do? Thanks in advance.
If you have a vpn you should not have gotten that. Are you sure your vpn is active? You are logged in? Otherwise might be some kind of scam

Have not tried it. But if it’s in the US, stay clear. I avoid them as most are getting shut down. I don’t know if this one is, but I would ask. We recommend ones that will have longevity

That makes sense, they are available in the US. I don't have access to Canada Amazon inventory. Look at the specs on this one and find a comparable one in Canada.
How long does it last in one use🤔
Unplugged? If fully charged 4 hours I believe. I also reviewed a nebula laser projector (10 times more expensive) that lasts 48 hours on a single charge
I have this projector. Unfortunately about 2 weeks after purchase the company just disappeared. I ended up with one with really bad sound (loud but terrible sounding) and very high latency audio. Since the company vanished I was unable to return it. Looks like they burned a lot of people who paid for the kickerstarter but never go theirs. The screen is good though. I've only been able get around all the audio issues by using a roku stick and my roku remotes has a headphone check I can send to my bluetooth speakers.

@@CuriosityCafe That's what I'm getting at. They no longer exist. Their official website vanished from the face of the earth late last year, abandoned their campaign, stopped replying to anyone on their facebook channel and help line. I was one of the lucky ones in that I at least got the projector. Anyway. This isn't your problem. I just came across your review as I was looking for tips on the sound issues. You had no way of knowing. It IS interesting to see that they left the amazon page up though, although their brand page is gone (if you click on Jireno there).
I just messaged them asking about their product and they responded. So I'm just not sure. I'm just sharing my experience with the projector. It's worked great here and no issues at all, and they are still selling. Kickstarter always deletes the pages when the campaign is over. But they are still selling and replying. Contact them through amazon.

Correct, it was a kickstarter special event. They will again sell to the public in February at a little higher price. I'm always trying to find great products and opportunities for our viewers. Yeah, it equivalent to 1200 lumens- best you’ll get for a portable projector. You likely need a standard one
