The same thing happened to my Subaru when I was heading home to my parents in VA with my infant and my car completely shuts off on a 3 lane hwy outside of Richmond😅 Get it towed back to a MD Subaru dealership and they couldn’t find a code either and they ran my car for an hour. It’s also a 2016 if that makes a difference. It’s so frustrating and makes you feel like you don’t have a reliable vehicle 🤦♀️
As an auto repair shop owner the reason we like to run our own diagnostics is so nothing is missed. We have people come in that run their own, bring the parts and want us to fix it. Then the part doesn’t fix the problem and they think it’s our fault. When we buy the part and put it in we can guarantee the work and parts.
I get it my 14 year old son has high functioning autism and he has been gone for 2 weeks with his grandparents and he is looking forward to coming home tomorrow back to the comfort zone of his room.
When our social group has our picnic in the park starting on Thursday night, we play ladder ball, bocce ball and corn hole after we eat our picnic dinners that we bring to eat. My favorite is corn hole. ❤😊I messed up and said Tuesday night! 😂 We go every 2 weeks for 4 or 5 sessions.

Vehicles that are all battery like yours kinda scare me because of the same way your truck was acting. I would be freaked out if I couldn’t tell if the truck as in park or not because of the error codes. I’m glad that once you removed the battery for a bit that it started working right. Praying for no more issues on the way home. I can understand Abbie wanting a break. I don’t know how many times I want to run away from my family for a short time while one vacation. Sometimes you just need to get away.

One time my Mom and Dad bought a brand new VW bug, 196x. One fuse blew on a regular basis, the dealer couldn't figure out the problem despite repeated service appointments. Dad wrapped aluminum foil are the problem fuse. Driving along, started to smell smoke. Smoke stopped after a while. Dad took the bug into the dealer. Surprise, the dealer found a wire (or wires, it's been a while) burned and was able to fix the problem. I think it was wires since they had to replace a wire bundle or two. Sorry for the problems, wish you could fix it like my Dad did.
It cost me $3 to wash and $3 to dry at a hotel in California to wash a load. So I had to do two loads. I had plan to do 3-4 loads but after I saw the prices I combined two loads and chose several item not to wash. Luckily I always bring extra clothes so I washed mostly my husbands clothes. I did pack some washer sheets (never tried them before and also brought dryer sheets ).
