This is awesome. The Knott's log ride is my favorite ride at any park ever. Never seen it at xmas or halloween. We just went last week, will return this year to see it during the holidays.
Have fun in santa monica, go shopping downtown, stay in a 5 star hotel, eat from exclusive resteraunts, visit beverly hills, go to landmarks, museums anything that you can possibly do
woah it looks so different! insteadf of those creeper guys that talk but dont move their mouths, haha i went the day before yesterday, so much fun, this ride make my stomach get better for some reason
one, they don't allow nightvision, it messes with the infrared censors they have to monitor the ride. the log ride was closed for the past few months for repairs to the cave ceilings. they patched up what they could before they started build for this year's haunt. the plan is to continue repairs after haunt is over on halloween.
It's been a long time since I've rode rides at an amusement park. My Gosh. All the signs everywhere nowadays! There's even warnings sprayed onto the log itself! Recordings telling you to not stand up and all that stuff. Give me the old days when they just threw you in and told you to hang on.
lol when you get to the last part on the ride when you go up at the end put your hands up when going up it has sensors to tell you to sit down its funny lol
@christelle2194 yeah if you are in the first seat like me!! i go SUPPER WET from the legs.oh also part of the log in the bottom is open so water gets in you feet and shoes.
i have a annual pass to disneyland resort ca i got it in 2008 and it is expiring may 2009 but the good news is that my dad promised that on may he`ll renew the annual pass so we can have it for another year!!! and after our other disneyland annual pass expires in 2010 he promised he`ll get a annual pass to knotts berry farm!
You guys are being harsh on this ride. This was the first ever log ride built. If it weren't for this, there would be no Splash Mountain. I like it because of the fast flume movement.
awesome thanks for the info....i think we will end up going to knotts then cause. Its myself and my girlfriend going on vacation and we don't have kids. I'm 25 and she's 21. N e other things we should def do while we are in california?? N e suggestions would be very much appreciated!!
Nothing beats seeing little kids riding this stuff.
Great video. I can't wait to for the Log Ride to re-open. My life isn't the same without this ride. Greatest log ride in the world.
the first drop the 1 in the dark gives me more butterflies than the last one!
omg i love how it smells in there
i went there at halloween 2 years ago, and it was SO fun, the log ride had monsters jumping out at you, and it was just the funnest thing ever :)
i think it's the most themed log ride ive ever seen!! (good thing)
Anyone else watching this in 2017
i had fun watching this, i had no idea they changed the decorations seasonally. thanks for posting.

I may be a roller coaster junkie, but log rides and river rides are always a ton of fun. The one at Discovery Kingdom is amazing.
Have fun in santa monica, go shopping downtown, stay in a 5 star hotel, eat from exclusive resteraunts, visit beverly hills, go to landmarks, museums anything that you can possibly do

hahah man that kid was sure getting into it!
Its true, the cheap ticket prices at Knotts is probably a big explanation for it.
They should put this as the halloween version of the log ride!
i love this ride!

What's with the 63 dislikes? I don't get it. This video is good, there is nothing to dislike about it. Must be holiday trolls!
John Wayne and his sons were the first to ride it when it first opened. There use to be a John Wayne Theater.
im going this friday this just makes me so excited =D
5/5 BTW!
its creepy when every thing is dark and scary because you drop hehe i went today and got soaked with my classmates sooo funn ^0^
I noticed that the hill on the log ride at Knotts Berry Farms is steeper and bigger then the one at Disneyland. i like the Disneyland one better :]
@christelle2194 yeah if you are in the first seat like me!! i go SUPPER WET from the legs.oh also part of the log in the bottom is open so water gets in you feet and shoes.
@THEnewestERA I remember when I went back in fourth grade. So much fun. I hope you had fun, too.
I went on this during Christmas and it was still too freaking scary!! For pete sake they had a dead elf with an axe on the ride!
haha it freaks me out when like they start singing in the dark.
@DropDeadJustinBieber no, usually just water parks. Here in california, its mosly warm :)
this ride never gets old i love it though i really wish they would change the scenary inside sometimes
i don't remember the log ride being that long! but im going there over spring break in march with a friend. so it should be fun!
your a great dad to take them there
"thats what im talking bout!" lmao
AWESOME!!
the christmas version is scarier than the halloween version
yeah i rode this at Christmas too
i love it
i got splashed in the eye after the first 'dark' drop.
and i was wearing glasses!
My favorite..
@pinkglamgrrl Nope, this is way smaller. Splash Mountain is 52 feet.
i have a annual pass to disneyland resort ca i got it in 2008 and it is expiring may 2009 but the good news is that my dad promised that on may he`ll renew the annual pass so we can have it for another year!!! and after our other disneyland annual pass expires in 2010 he promised he`ll get a annual pass to knotts berry farm!
riip saw falls at island of adventures is the best water ride ever

I LOVE Knotts! How about those Chicken Dinners!!!!
You guys are being harsh on this ride. This was the first ever log ride built. If it weren't for this, there would be no Splash Mountain. I like it because of the fast flume movement.
this looks like fun cept i dont think id like the drop in the dark haha unless its not big.

Unless knott's berry farm isn't greedy like Disneyland
I agree. Splash Mountain is a lot better.
How long a drop does this have anyways?
I mean, at least Splash Mountain has one.
damn thats a long ride..sweet
Lol, that would be funny if someone fell off during the dark while you were log surfing. xD
you can set the sensors off by raising your hands real high too...lol
AHHH going to knotts in two weeks cant want going with all my friends
