No. HammerHead was a different ride. HammerHead is a Zamperla Rotoshake that was removed in 2003 because the parts aged quickly and the ride became a mechanical nightmare. The ride depicted in this video is Riptide, a HUSS Topspin. It's a completely different ride. The general public, however, thinks it is still the same ride, just different color, but it's not.
@thinkblue97 it's possible that the weather wasn't suitable for the water to be on, they were trying to conserve water, or it just wasn't working that day...but that ride is pretty fun huh? I love it.
'WHen I graduated from 8th grade we went to knott's and me and friends were going to ride this....But we got SCARED and we got out of the line..AND some people were calling us CHICKENS.....so funny to remember!!
nah in the summer they have them all the way up. I got pretty wet the first time i rode it then i rode it in fall and the water was turned down. But yeah when they have the water all the way up you definitely get soaked. and sometimes choke.

There is a ride like this I really loved when I was little but it didn't go upside down. It was either disneyland, knotts, or magic mountain. you were up really high and could see the whole park it seemed. wasnt scary at all just awe inspiring. but it was open like this so it wasnt the gyrotower.
god when i whent on this last year it sucked cause the guy said that the water wasnt working i was like wtf?! but we did get to see chester bennington from linkin park :D
