After watching your video and a few others, I went ahead and ordered one. At this Black Friday price it's too good to pass up, especially with all the freebies. It seems a very good machine and very similar to Cricut from what I can see. I even saw one woman using a Cricut 24 inch length mat so it must be compatible? . I have one question about their website to get images. Is it free for ever or only for a limited time in the UK? Thanks :)
Hi as far as i am aware they are free forever, when you download the software to your computer, they appear in the library section and so far i haven't found anything that you have to pay for. The software is basic and can be a bit buggy (at least for me on Mac) but CW was the same at the beginning, they have already taken me up on a few suggestions ive made to them. Im trying to play with it as much as I can but am busy this week but im keeping a list of things i think can be improved. Another video coming in a few days hopfully. The file format for saving is SVG so if you are comfortable with other software you could make a file in that and then just import it into the loklik software to cut it.
Very interesting Ashley. After watching your video, it seems this machine is a clone of the Cricut Maker, which I have. Visibly the only difference I can see is the contour of the case. 😂. So similar, in fact, that I wouldn’t be surprised if Cricut gets involved in a legal sense. Hopefully, Cricut will realize that they need to think about adjusting their pricing, because they aren’t the exclusive player in the market any more. I had a Silhouette as my first electronic cutting machine and wasn’t satisfied with it at all. That’s why I bought the Cricut. I also have the ScanNCut because they are capable of doing different things. Thanks for showing us this new machine.
i too had a silhouette as my first machine and didn't like it at all. I changed to a brother scan n cut as I liked the versatility of which cutting files i could use.
I had the first silhouette when they came out still have it. Runs beautifully, I bought a circuit a few years later absolutely hated it gave it to my neighbor and bought a cameo 4. I love both my Cameos. But I am always interested in what's new. This looks interesting.

Hi Sorry I dont know I havnt tried fabric. this is what their website says "Our cutting machines can work with a variety of materials, like heat transfer vinyl (HTV), adhesive vinyl, sublimation paper, cardstock, heat transfer paper, felt, and more."
What a fabulous machine and an absolutely mind blowing price. How does the machine know how deep to cut as I didn't noticed anywhere to set a cut depth? Is it automatic adjusted? Thank you for such a comprehensive video x
Hi so if you choose Loklik and HTVront its programmed automatically, but you can choose other and adjust the speed and pressure right in the software cutting pannel, as cricut and silhouette users do.

Hi, great review thank you, can you tell me if this one will cut craft board? It's not a deal-breaker as I have one on order, I just don't want to buy craft board and have it hanging around forever.

i just purchased this one and you said the mat included in the box is not for cardstocks. i wonder whats the best mat for cardstocks tho. i sti waiting for mine to arrive.
I don’t think I said it’s not for card stock It’s just it’s very very sticky it wouldn’t need burnishing down and to remove I would bend the mat not crease it just bend to help the card come away I’ve been using the low tack mat but that’s sticky as well

No It can cut card and paper and I believe maybe fabric too, but to be fare most electronic cutting machines on the market all stem from industrial vinyl cutters, thats why most people buy the domestic versions we have just adapted there use to suit are own crafting styles. I will be using this machine maore and putting it through its paces so more videos to come
Do you think the blades and mats will be easy to obtain.

Just google and see what come up for your country i know it sells in USA at a decent price.
Have been thinking of buying this machine, cheaper then most machines and think better for portability, but the but thing is were will you be able to buy blades etc when needed as their are only one I think stock this machine…think GM CRAFTS sell this and few more places stock it but wait and see if the other channels will stock it, one thing I will say it’s about time brother undated the Sdx or it will find that it will lose out on the market as more of the other cutting machines are getting bigger..
I know they are for sale on their website, i put info in my blog post on my website, need to look into shipping cost i will update as and when i know more. I know the machines and other products are for sale through John Lewis, GM Crafts, Crafting Outlet and Freemans at the moment.
Actually I decided to do some further investigation into this company. I would like to suggest that others do further research before investing. This is not meant to disparage you, Ashley, because this is apparently what this company has been doing. Reaching out to people such as yourself, especially on You Tube to gather endorsements. The biggest concern seems to be a lack,of transparency as to who really owns the company and where they are based,

I saw that Ashley. But, here in North America they are only available in the US. Some of what I found suggests the parent company is in China. But, still a lack of transparency as to who really owns the company. I’m going to continue looking for more information. 😊
The reply ive had from Loklik is "LOKLiK and HTVRONT are sister brands and the products are the same, so there is no need to worry about quality and after-sales issues. " the HTVront website clearly states in the about us section they are based in China and as will many companies they use distributers, they seem to be selling in the US, UK, Canada and Australia at the moment
