Nice video tutorial! I’ve been salvaging since the Vulture was released, and would like to add a tip or two to help the scraping efficiency. I always use two abrade modules. I remove the chinches from my arms so the use only the abrades and I don’t have to play with switching unless I accidentally bump the ship, and have to use the tractor to steady the target. I noticed that you’re scraping at a range of 38 meters. The first thing I do in 3.23.0 is lower my landing gear. This gives me much better control when getting close to scrape. Then, I extend my scraper modules and look at the distance above the two circles. I then inch in closer until I have a distance over the circles of 13 to 18 m from the target. The scraper heads are much faster and more efficient at that range.
Again, thank you for taking the time to make this for new salvagers.

The L points are Lagrange points. They are places where the gravity of the surrounding planets, sun etc balance out so putting stations there means they will stay in place without needing to constantly fire your maneuvering jets to stay in one place. It is like you are in the bottom of a dip so whoever you drift sideways, you naturally move back to the centre and this is why asteroids accumulate there. In the real world, not all Lagrange points work that way, some are more like balancing on a ridge where any movement from the perfect spot will make you fly outwards and there would be no asteroids but we will ignore that,😏.

I started the game from scratch, with a starting ship, and I'm wondering whether to save up for Vulture or Cutlass first. Cutlass will allow me to earn money on MRT and HRT, because outside of combat I can collect components and cargo from defeated ships, but I don't know if it's a better option for earning money than salvage with a vulture.
