Pine trees is something I have a hard time with. I'm just going to keep practicing
Yes yes Sandra, keep on practicing! You'll eventually develop a tree you fall in love with. It's what happened with me. :)
Thanks so much for these lovely videos ! I mostly paint florals. I got a commission for a misty mountain landscape and I came across your videos at the right time ! I have been practicing the trees and mountains after watching your videos. Hope to get started on my painting after I feel more confident !!
Florals are a weakness of mine. I struggle with those, but they certainly are beautiful.
I hope your confidence builds up fast!
Good luck with your painting!
Thanks for asking but I prefer no music, just instructions as colors, brushes, etc. Love your misty landscape pine trees. 👍👍👍
Thank you for the feedback! 🌲🌲
Wow I love it... great job... thanks for sharing.

Thank you for your tips and tricks . You had make it very easy to do it. And thank to you I finally knew how to drew evergreen trees. I had been struggled so much with it. Others people didn’t explained well enough. 🥰❤️❤️👍👍
Thank you so much 😀 And I'm so glad you're finding it helpful. Trees can be a struggle and frustrating at times.
I like the nature sounds and music added in background as long as i can still hear your instructions imho.
Awesome!
thank you for your feedback 🌲🤍
New to watercolor and enjoying your tutorials.Found I'm into trees and anything related to nature, thanks for the tips
Thank you for sharing. I hope your painting experience has been good so far. 🌲
I live just off the Blue Ridge Parkway so I paint fog and mountains and trees too. Your paintings are so gorgeous! Thank you for the tips on the VelvetTouch brushes. I ordered some and they are my new favorites!
I'm so glad you're loving your new brushes! There's just something about them. I wish you many many wonderful misty forest paintings, Deb!
Your trees are beautiful!
Thank you so much, Marcia! Means a lot, because I don't usually paint them this way.
I love your trees and thank you for saying the colours you've used.🤗
Absolutely! Thank you so much for leaving me a comment and watching :)
Muy bonitos!!!Gracias por compartir!!!!
Muchas gracias ☺️
Beautiful and cool music chosen 😊
Aww thank you! Love me some jazz. 😬
Nice trees thank you for posting
Thank you! 🌲🌲🌲 you’re welcome.
Hi Jackie. Thanks for the tutorial. I'm not an artist, but want to explore expression in watercolour. I've always loved trees and we have so many where I live. Your examples were really helpful as a place to start for depicting the evergreens abounding here. I enjoyed your insights and commentary, but I also appreciate the quiet in-between. ps...I didn't hear the wind in your video, but imagined how nice it was to be inside painting while it was storming outside.
Thank you so much for the feedback, Rebecca!
I’m glad I could help with your tree and watercolor journey. I can’t seem to stop painting them haha.
Let me know how your painting goes! 🌲😬
Love your evergreen trees. 💕 Thank you for sharing. I recently subscribed to your channel. I am now going back and checking out your other videos. Love them all. So many flowers videos on utube. I love tress 🌳🌲
Thank you , Donna for stopping by my channel and enjoying my videos. Yeah, no flower videos on here as I'm not very good with painting them. Except, I do love painting dandelions lol. I have a passion for moody misty landscapes, so that's what you'll mostly see. I'm happy that you like them, too! 🌲
thank you so much - I love it
🥰 you’re welcome!
I just love your trees, and I hope to be able to recreate them someday! Keep going!
I also love the ambiance of your workspace! You make it look so comfortable 😊
Thank you so much, Julie! 🤍 I have total faith that with consistent practice and experimentation, you’ll create your best trees 🌲.
Thank you for the lovely comment, and taking the time to watch my videos. I appreciate you and your time.
Really enjoyed this!
Glad you enjoyed it! 🌲🤍
I just watched another tree video of yours, really love these! Im going to see if any of my brushes will make the same delicate marks as you've made,,I think thats what really sets these apart from the tons of other tutorials. I really enjoy yoir methods! Thanks from PA!
I love brushes with a very fine tip. I think it's easier to get the tiny details, but of course you can always just use a small detail brush to add in the delicate branches later. Thank you for spending time with me, and I hope to continue to provide valuable content. :)
Enjoy watching your tree painting. After seeing your first video I've been practicing your way. My pine trees werr big green triangles.😂 Thanks for your teaching on this.
oh no! lol Mine are kinda triangles, too though! I'm glad you're enjoying the videos :)
Super mam keep it up
Love the new video. Still struggling with the first one. Just cant master dry brush. You do that so well. I had difficulty with the shots that were from the side . Difficult to know how to do it. But love the trees. Maybe someday this old lady will learn.🤭
Hi Rebecca! Thank you for the feedback! Yes, those side clips with a bit too slanted; filming future videos, I'll keep that in mind for viewers. I certainly want to create an enjoyable learning experience.
I watched this vid because I have a Terrible time painting pine trees! Tyty
I live in Colorado and many of the trees look like some of these!
I would love for you to explain How you are making the strokes. Ty
Have you checked out my other two Evergreen tree tutorials? I break the tree down a bit more than I do in this particular video.
I will!@@JackiePeacock
I’m new to your channel. I really like your trees!! But I agree with some other comments about camera angle. More “top down” angle gives a better idea of what you’re doing. Does that make sense?! Thanks!!
Thank you, Amy for the feedback. Yes I absolutely agree. In this video it was at a weird angle. I'm taking notes of feedback and going to experiment with different angles to give a better experience for anyone watching. As a viewer myself, it is nice to see what's happening lol .
Kinda hard (actually practically impossible) to see what you are doing because of the angle of your camera.
I’ll definitely take note of your feedback. I definitely want to provide as good of an experience for viewers. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing your painting technique👍. We just need to hear you talking. No need to add music background.
Thank you!
Ahh yes. My recent videos have no music because I totally agree. The music distracts and competes with talking. 🙂
I see everything you do just fine. These are all evergreen trees not pine they are all different. From southern B.C., Canada.
Yes evergreen. I have a habit of always saying pine haha Love B.C.! Beautiful.
