You're a gentleman and a scholar! I watched your video and my Amana had the exact same problem. Just finished installing the new capacitor and seems to be working fine. I appreciate ya!
Please help?! 🙏 I can't get the fill, wash & rinse lights to go off so I can go into test mode. I Can put it in test mode, but the first 3 lights don't change. What do I do? Also, the agitator doesn't spin and the lid won't stay locked. It clicks to lock and then immediately unlocks. Trying to avoid a service call.
Hi I have one where the lid works fine but it wont continue past agitation but i know the spinning works if i bypass the lock could it be the actuator?
Possibly. Pull the back plate off and watch the actuator for movement during shift time(s). Also, make sure it gets the proper voltage during said times.
@@ryantheteknishun9377 okay thank you. I mean I could leave it bypassed but I don’t want the lightswitch to break it even more. It’s like it’s not getting signal to completely lock the lid when it goes to spin. It just confuses me that it works either the lightswitch but doesn’t when I have the new one plugged in
@@ryantheteknishun9377 I’ve also read that it could be the cold water intake as I have hard water. I’m wondering if when the lid is correct it’s not sensing enough flow
@@XxalightnerxXThere should be a paper manual stuck to the inside of the cabinet. It’s awkward to get without taking the top off, but possible. It’ll show you how to do some manual tests to help with diagnostics

@@ryantheteknishun9377 okay thank you I can try that. I’ll also try checking the drain hose and pressure tube maybe it’s something really small.
