The announcement says 'wife and family were by his side' and that's the first mention of her that way . . . Some claimed his weight loss was due to a movie role but now it's likely it was due to cancer. Damn shame regardless of all the specs.

She held her head high and only a few within her inner-circle saw the depths of her struggle. What I am relating about my wife is now eighteen years back in the rearview mirror but I can still see it as though it were yesterday. My heart sank when I learned of Mr. Boseman's passing this past Friday and reflecting on this man's absence from our midst has been the order of the day.

What I am relating about my wife is now eighteen years back in the rearview mirror but I can still see it as though it were yesterday.
My heart sank when I learned of Mr. Boseman's passing this past Friday and reflecting on this man's absence from our midst has been the order of the day.

Chadwick fought Thanos even though he himself was terminally ill. A hero playing a hero.
It may not have been that bad at that point. People survive Stage III and IV cancer so it's very probable eradication was still the goal.
