They literally *all* read cue cards - that's how SNL works. Keenan's just had a lot of practice at hiding it, but even then you can often see him looking at them in various sketches.

I'm largely deaf, and " read lips " , so I tend to look at faces a lot when people talk.
Alec does a great job with the trump impersonation, but I'd like to suggest he watch some more of trump talking , and just look at get some of those facial expressions, as well as how he uses his hands.
I don't mean to be telling him how to do his job - he's a fine actor. I just think he is 90% there.
