      Big Z has the most wins of any Strongman. 2 IFSA, 4WSM, and 8 Arnold's just to name a few.
      And in my opinion this is the record to beat for deadlift not Eddie's. I know they were done on different setups but the rang of motion is almost identical because of the platform they are standing on.

    I'd say this was the most challenging lift style. The weight leaves the ground at an angle, so it gets heavier as the lift rises. Plus, the thick bar and bend make it not possible to hitch. Yes, the weight starts off the ground higher than a deadlift bar, but it has its own challenges

    • @camerondelguidice518
      @camerondelguidice518 10 років тому

      ***** My point is(I agree with your view as well) that someone will say it looks easy because it looks like a rack pull. Regardless its almost 1200 pounds impressive either way, I do think that Zydrunas Savickas could pull at least 1080 in competetition

    • @mkrulic517439
      @mkrulic517439 10 років тому +2

      It really depends on the inch. the diff between from the floor, roughly 9" from ground to center of the bar, and an inch higher is almost nothing. the difference between 18" measured from ground to center of bar, and an inch higher is an extra 75 to 100 lbs.

    • @Orangevirus

      ecnerwalgnay, He's snorting "aromatic spirit of ammonia."
      In other words - smelling salts are often used on athletes (such as boxers) when they are knocked unconscious or semi-conscious to arouse consciousness and restore mental alertness.
      They are also used in competitions (such as powerlifting, strong man and ice hockey) to "wake up" competitors to perform better.
      They are also still used for people feeling faint, or who have fainted, either administered by others, or self-administered, with some at-risk groups, such as pregnant women, sometimes advised to keep them close to hand.
