Thanks matey, almost 6 years after posting, this is still relevant, as Logitech is still using that dodgy PS. Works like a treat now. Was wondering why you did put the voltage to it's maximum, instead of leaving it at 12V ?
Hi ! Solved my problem thanks to you ! After seeing your video i bought a power supply in Bangood and replaced it like you did. It works really nice ! Thanks :)
Hi RideLifeWithGrace, I have a Logitech Z533 that burned out the power supply. Since I don't know which (TPA) audio amplifier is installed on this Z533 system, I don't know what power supply and what DC voltage I should use to replace the original. Thank you for your help as I have the Z533 system out of action for a long time and after watching your video I was hoping to be able to use it again... Forgive my English, it's not my native language.
La salida de esa fuente de alimentación, la original son 12v, 4 A, es también corriente alterna (AC), si la cambio por una de corriente continua (CC), ¿Funcionará?
can you help me ? i forget to turn it off for 2 days..then when i wanna use it suddenly i realize i forgot to turn it off..now its dead..i think the problem is the psu..
@razmanrhoads2078 do u solve it bro? the buzzing is annoying. i heard it coming from psu and later test with pc. the buzz sound also coming from output speaker 😢
After a quick research, the Z333 speakers have the same STA540 power amplifier. According to the manufacturer datasheet: - 2x 38 W into 4Ω at 18 V, 1 kHz, 10%THD - 2x 34 W into 8Ω at 22 V, 1 kHz, 10%THD - 2x 24 W into 4Ω at 14.4 V, 1 kHz, 10%THD - 2x 15 W into 8Ω at 16 V, 1 kHz, 10%THD - 4x 13 W into 2Ω at 15 V, 1 kHz, 10%THD - 4x 11 W into 4Ω at 18 V, 1 kHz, 10%THD - 4x 7 W into 4Ω at 14.4 V, 1 kHz, 10%THD Also, someone has tested the output of the power supply, it was 16,87Volts, but I do not know under what circumstances. Therefore, I recommend something around 18V power supply for your system. A laptop power supply, usually rated between 18-20V will be ideal.
buzz sound not heard anymore. but cannot figure out why left speaker not working. continuity test has been done.no issue on the cable. im sure there something wrong with pcb.
No it isn't the PSU will supply 12V until you hit it's max current. If you don't hit that max current then any two sized PSUs are functionally identical.

Very helpful video, mine PSU in Z313 stopped working 3 months after warranty end. Got similar PSU to your and now speakers are working. :)
Thanks!
What psu did u buy please answer i have same issue

dude that was awesome nice fix
what if the channel balance is off?, where can i get that potentiometer (7 pole)
Thank you for this excellent video!
My psu also burned out thanks for the reference
It seems you solved my problem ...Thanks...
Hola amigo a esta plca se le puede poner una fuente de 16 vol gracias espero me responda
Looks like i found the solution for my problem z313. Hopefully mine is psu problem also.

no note work
I tried it on a dc charger and the( TDA) sound ic blew out.
I have Z323 with same problem but the diode is SR3100. I take out the dead diode and it is working with one diode. :)

How do you fix grounding? Mine bont have grounding line and I connected woithout. Now I have buzing noise and I believe it is because of grounding.
i have same problem
Do u solve it?

I have Logitech z333 its smps blown can I put a new SMPS ? It's writen 94v-0 E317641 ZR-01 I want to know IS ITS 94VOLT psu OR 12 VOLT ?

@@ridelifewithgrace4834 Thanks a lot man. Very helpful. Much appreciated!
i cannot solve the buzz sound even using ground wire

isnt it bad to put a stronger psu in ?
