This is not a speed run or an attempt at it. Nightmare causes all attacks to inflict double damage and some attacks to cause more viral contamination. Recovery items are only 75% effective in their healing effects. You earn double Result Points upon scenario completion.
Resident Evil Outbreak File#2, known as Biohazard Outbreak File 2 (バイオハザード アウトブレイク ファイル２ baiohazādo autobureiku fairu 2) in Japan, is an online game for the PlayStation 2 which was first released in September 2004 in Japan. It is a sequel and expansion on Resident Evil Outbreak, which was originally envisioned as a much larger game before being cut into multiple releases, containing levels which failed to be completed in time for the original game's release. The same eight characters from the first title return with similar abilities, and the game takes place once again in a zombie-run Raccoon City.
The player chooses a scenario, difficulty level, and a character. The difficulty level is tied to what enemies and items the player encounters as they progress through the scenario. The game has five scenarios, each of which has an event checklist consisting of special actions that the player must perform to reach 100% completion. Upon doing so the player will unlock "Infinity Mode" in which all the player's weapons never break or run out of ammunition.
Each scenario also has "SP" items. These are invisible items hidden throughout the level, and are randomly generated on two paths. There are twenty scenario items for each scenario, and twenty items specific to each character hidden across the five scenarios. If acquired, these items unlock new costumes and the option to listen to their ad-libs.
Players could connect to the internet servers using a broadband connection and a network adapter. Account registration and login were required. Once players connected and logged in, they could then choose between Free Mode and Scenario Mode. Free Mode took place in a lobby and allowed players to create their own games, scenarios, and difficulty level. Scenario Mode would choose the scenario and players automatically. When a player first started online, they would begin on the "Outbreak" scenario and progress from there. If the player wished to stop playing, they could save their data and start off from the scenario they were up to at the time. If the player had beaten a scenario, they acquired a star by their name. On December 31, 2007, Capcom shut down the US servers for Outbreak and on June 30, 2011, for the JP servers.
The gameplay of Resident Evil Outbreak File #2 is basically the same as the first game which follows the original Resident Evil gameplay style tradition, but it includes a few other gameplay improvements.

the new master of unlocking: Alyssa
All those looked doors on the hardest difficulty is the only reason I feel Alyssa shines a bit more in this game. She was so bad on the first one.
As a AI she sucks at this one. She doesn't follow or help you at all, kinda remind David's behavior on first one.

I think she was improved but overall a solid character. The lockpick alone makes her useful in all scenarios plus she has decent HP , speed and can potshot. Her most noticeable downside between games was that her back step sucked in 1 but thankfully was improved a bit in 2

I got to admit that Alyssa, next to Kevin, is my secondary favorite character of the Outbreak cast. That would be because I am a journalist major. What's also unique about her is that she can pick locks.
But in real life I wouldn't date someone like her. Just simply because I'm not into blondes, I'd be interested in someone that looks more like Ada, Fong Ling (from Dead Aim), or even Yoko (also my third favorite in the game).

I think they mean the Backstep which Alyssa does in this game. It's a big improvement of it from the first game.

@@SairentoZ7 yeah exactly. Even in the Underbelly scenario, when you were inserting the code for the locker, zombies just came in, walked in circle and then all walked out totally ignoring you, they don't do that in my case :(
@@abysswalker1282 That is a exploit that was part of the game's mechanic. So you use that to your advantage to drop enemy aggro. However, it doesn't work on every enemy.
@@SairentoZ7 i'll need to try it again when possible, but i can definitely remember that i never had time to read files or inserting codes with even regular zombies around, they always go after me no matter what.
Could you do a gameplay playing with bots in Nightmare and Very Hard?
