Have been a “spinner” for 23 years, Echelon EX 3 is my bike number 4. Purchased on FB marketplace for $200. I use UA-cam for free classes. Magnetic wheel no pads for resistance which need to be changed. Smooth ride, luxurious and sturdy bike.
wow its held up well! tbh I wouldn't get a Peloton if you are not spinning often ... just continue to use the app. I ended up selling mine when I went back to the gym. now I spin occasionally on the gym bikes.
I've had two Sunny bikes (another brand on Amazon), and after a year or two, have ALWAYS given me some sort of weird noise ... how has the EX3 held up in the noise area? I need a super quiet bike that will STAY quiet without squeeks long-term.. thanks for the review!
Don't get a Peloton: just get your QZ app correctly configured so that your Peloton app gives you the feedback and controls the resistance of your Echelon. Otherwise if you do get a Peloton, it will be because you love the brand and the design of the Peloton bike.
Definitely do not buy it. Mine was broken out of the box. Customer service is appalling. They said that a replacement part was coming, but couldn't tell me when. It's been SIX MONTHS. They won't give me any answers and refuse to send me a replacement bike. It's clear that they are waiting for the warranty to expire before they try to charge me for the replacement part. Disgusting, immoral company with rude customer service. I'll soon be taking them to small claims court.
