I'm curious as someone currently working in carbon markets and sustainability sectors after having worked in marketing would it be possible to pivot to management consulting firms for such projects. Given that they seem to be making their in-house sustainability teams or should I join the big 4 accounting firms and then try to pivot into management consulting. Also no one seems to be covering relevant courses or universities for the sustainability space as there isnt really a path and experience trumps all but it would be nice to know that there is somewhat of a course and pathway in the sustainability umbrella.
Big4 transition is relatively simpler compared to MBB/other tier1 consulting companies. And you are right - not many clear pathways exist for folks in sustainability sector. I am on the look out as well for the past few years. If I find any - will make a video on the same.

(e.g., they should not only have the knowledge of genAI, but every technologies around the AI + having a research papers in the top tier conference + created chatgpt like model + all the mlops tools + llmops tools etc. Sorry to say like this, but this is the reality.

Currently, my wife and I are working in Bangalore, both with 10 years of experience in IT. We combined make 2.9L/month and We easily save 1.5L/month in India. Probably we save max 2500 Euro/month in Finland. One Major risk is to get a job for my wife there. Is it worth migrating to EU with this risk? Could you share your view?
