I’ve been a MHA for almost a month now and it’s extremely strenuous work. I’m on my feet for 8 hours a day and my first day I found out the hard way that comfortable shoes are a MUST. MHA role is not for everybody and that includes me. I’m miserable at work. So if you applied for MHA, be prepared for a rude awakening. It’s not for the weak. Life is too short. Find a career that suits you. Stay happy and healthy.
If you’re coming in as an MHA please be ready to work! Leave your ego at the door and don’t be lazy!! It’s easy but physical work and with the right coworkers, you can get the work done. Also get good compliant shoes.

I have seen some dudes hanging around at the gas station that looked pretty shady. So men be a man and pump the gas for your women and teach your son's to do same thing.

I am in the NJ AREA I have a question I applied back in September completed my background check completed my fingerprints I sign my i9 forms and the tax papers too everything was completed in September I still haven’t heard anything about orientation or a start date ? I checked and I’m still in offer ex phase is that normal
I applied for the MHA assistant position 10/26 and was informed on Fingerprinting that it was seasonal. If my start date is expected of 12/6 is it still on the seasonal term? Also how does the call back listing work if I’m let go? Definitely going to work hard to be a guaranteed candidate!
While there are many things a mail handler can do, the mhas mostly unload/load trucks, sort the mail, work on apps machine and dump sacks. Fss may be outdated and for senior mail handlers but they need people there on Saturdays. Sometimes mhas cget sent to low cost but usually only on weekends if that. Mhas rarely get sent to flats at my plant. They usually only run 1 machine and is for senior mail handlers.
They assigned me to a new location to load packages first class priority...the machine would flip the cardboard box of all the packages...its a apbs section is that called dump sack??? or i was working apps machine???
@@MissHitAllTheTime The machine that sorts the packages is the apps (automatic package processing system) machine. A lot of people don’t like the apps but it’s my favorite and have a tour 3 apps bid with Thursdays and Fridays off.
I just turned 18 earlier in 2021. Parents finally allowed me to work. And now I have orientation as a MHA on 2/14 and 2/15. This will be my first job. Any tips or anything I should know going in?
I applied for the pse processing clerk and mail handler assistant I passed one test with a 72 and I passed one with a 76 is that go enough to get hired

Thanks for the video. Yes his was my first offer letter November 1,2021. I’m still waiting on the finger print invite. I did apply for several positions and I’m on the prehire list for 6 of them🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Took my fingerprints on 10/20 .. fast tracked with GIS saying my background check cleared.. waiting on USPS to send a orientation email man i applied on 9/28 … Tryna put this grindd in already and guns to work OG!! 😤😤
Thank you bro, I just received offer letter ( email) today. So have to know everything. Your clip gave me 90 percent knowledge so I can prepare. Thanks again God bless you.
I took the assessment and passed at 100% thanks to watching your videos and being inspired. I have tons of warehouse experience so I decided to take the plunge and apply for a MHA position... I begin my journey on the 20th and I have to say thank you for being inspiring and encouraging-especially when it comes to potentially changing your life for the better....it's all about perspective. Peace and blessings to you and yours 🙂 .
@Lex Kastor it's going well,I was let go from my original plant on the 31st but after a little over a week; I was able to choose where I wanted to go next. I work a 11-12 hr shift overnight with 1 day off and I'm cool with it so far. Thanks to Jay H, and Creole Barbie because without these videos I wouldn't have known what to do or how to handle the layoff situation...shout out to y'all for being honest and letting people know to look at the bigger picture, seriously lol. Hold on y'all and take it 1 day at a time. Everyone be safe, smile, and peace and blessings to you and yours 💗 🙏 💯!!!
Thanks for the info. I am a RCA and I was thinking to change position to something else lol but after hearing about the other positions, I’m reconsidering.
After a month and 2 weeks, I finally heard back from them ! I have orientation Monday ! I’m doing 11pm to 7:30am 🙄 Which I want to do 1st shift but they picked the shift for me. I told my friend about it and she said she use to work there and talked about how they only give you hours only during peak season and that they be rude to the MHA workers. She also told me that they’ll have you only work 8 hours out the week and that it’s not what everybody make it seems. But I’m going to see for myself 🤷🏽♀️
I applied for the mail handler assistant and Pse mail processing clerk I score a 72 on one and a 76 on the other one should that be good enough to get hired Thank you
Well, In order for me to be maintenance at my plant I have to be a regular. The current wait time for a PSE to be regular is 2 years and this was after I was told I was getting converted. I won't be getting converted now. The quickest way to be a regular at my plant is to become a MHA which I'm gonna do. Do you have any info on the 475 assessment test?
Appreciate you & all the others on youtube with the USPS info Jay! Did my fast track interview & fingerprints on 10/26 in NY, just waiting on that orientation email!
So it wouldn't be heroic if someone picked up a wallet and it was in an unknown place and someone was looking for it, like one of your coworkers and a person turn it in to the supervisor. That is cold business there if that's how it is😎
I found a thick wallet on the ground and gave it to my supervisor. I saw a guy looking for something and asked him was he looking for his wallet and told him who I gave it to.
I agree with the man pumping gas also be mindful some guys be handicap too
