Its so weird seeing you guys film there because I live literally less than 200m away. I bought their headphone not even knowing that until a year later. 😂
Oh 100%. Love manufacturing videos and hearing about some of the tech and design decisions to make great audio related equipment. This was terrific. Thank you. :)
Cool production, but not gonna lie-I feel like I barely touched the surface on any of the stuff you got to talk to HEDD about. At the end, DMS, you said you learned quite a bit about the AMT driver, but I feel like I've learned very little about it from this video :-( A more detailed deep dive would be cool.
I am the founder of OLLO Audio and have to say that Klaus is amazing, just listen to the words of wisdom from 7:17 on :) It's what I like about this industry too ;)
Thanks DMS! The PQ of your videos is outstanding. Love how you anticipated the question: Did Resolve get to meet with them as well. In his own quest to built a new headphone, he is inspired. Whether it is the no frills headphone builder from Precog’s Singapore video or the sonic vision of a higher end company like HEDD, it is much harder to sense the essence without understanding the original vision.
The Hi-X55 gave them such a bad reputation among some people that it'll probably take some time for them to regain it even if the newer products are apparently better.
Admittedly, I hate the airy thin fatiguing sound of the HEDDphone as well as the weight and comfort, but I hope they develop the tech further and I will be happy to try a HEDDphone 2 if it ever comes out.
I had one hedd heaphone, I think it sounds really netural which should be drove by tube amplifier, it's OK for me, the only weakness is the depth of sound field.
excellent studio monitors. I have the HEDD Type 20. They're a thing of beauty. Except for the finish of the speakers. It's this super-slippery matte black finish that makes them prone to dropping. :-/
Human precision is more accurate than a robot. But the robot might do the folding in a more consistent fashion. I prefer precision over consistency to be honest
@@INeedsMoneys no, humans are nowhere near the precision of machines, it is versatility of human. developing a machine that does this costs a fortune but then enables high quality low price. they are doing everthing right imo.
@@JohnSmith-pn2vl what i really meant was, a robot couldn’t give a fuck if one fold happened to be shit. But a human would realize that one fold got fucked and start over or correct the problem immediately. A robot is more consistent, but less careful.
A lot of us are holding out for a lighter, more comfortable version of Heddphone. I hope we see one soon.
😇

Audiophile and a Swans fan? Have you heared them live? They destroy eardrums with their bonecrushing volume lol
Wow!! Feel free to swing by sometime.
The best headphones I’ve ever had the pleasure to hear. HEDDPhones 💯🔥🙏
LOVE audio products factories. Thank you so much for letting us enjoy this great tour.
Thank you for showing us inside. Awesome

My sentiment as well 👍
What an incredible experience! These videos are amazing!
fantastic video. they are certainly putting a lot of attention to details. respect!
If you’re looking to tour and interview at more manufacturer headquarters, a video on ZMF would definitely be at the top of my wishlist!
Very nicely done! Fascinating.
This is fricking AWESOME!

A pair Hedd Type 20 monitors have been my best audio purchase till date. Paired with the RME Adi2Pro, it's an all German affair.
Thank you!
More like this! Well done!
I liked it and would want to see more
This is the real quality *Made in Germany* worth the price.
Very nice video. I wish that they put the same effort in the build & comfort that they do on the diaphragm.
The build? You mean the enclosures? Design? Materials?
@@Tazmanian_Ninja I mean the headband most likely and the pads also.

How about Austrian Audio - set up by ex AKG employees ?
The Hi-X55 gave them such a bad reputation among some people that it'll probably take some time for them to regain it even if the newer products are apparently better.
lol there are audio companies called HEED and HEDD, I was so confused when I first googled this

You’re not supposed to juggle them you know 😆
@@INeedsMoneys I think you'd understand if you held them. I'm not a fan of this finish. It was poorly thought out.
The music in the background makes this feel like a promo video....
Hater
I'd rather they didn't fold their diaphragms by hand. I want consistent precision rather than an artisanal product.

for my hedd factory i normally just find it at your moms house.
Lol
It's weird that there's little diversity at the company when it comes to POC, it doesn't seem to be an inclusive place at all.
Wrong industry if you're looking for a woke ideology.
I dropped my phone laughing at this comment.
Lol i see quite a bit of diversity of the people working there just based on this video. Idk what you’re watching dude…
who cares, ah right, nobody
