- Curt talks about the time that Jeff Porcaro called him to track drums for a Boz Scaggs record. Jeff was the producer for that record but had unfortunately passed away before the record was finished and his involvement with that record would never see the light of day.

I did not know this... I had the privilege of jamming with mules Porcaro in Jeff’s practice room on Jeff’s kit. It was surreal I was young and couldn’t believe what was happening. I miss Miles, he was a dear friend. Miles was super talented On bass, drums, and guitar. I had no idea Jeff was moving into producing it makes perfect sense because he has an amazing ear. This just brought up a lot of memories. Anytime I see anything that had anything to do with Jeff Porcaro I think of how much him and his family have contributed to music on every level. This was very touching to remember Jeff. Thanks!
Thank you guys!
RIP Jeff and Papa Joe.
Thanks I love this! Jeff is my favorite of all time.
Which record of Bozz Scaggs is Curt talking about?
I reckon it must’ve been the Some Change album and he’s talking about Ricky Fataar who’s Bonnie Raitt’s drummer.
I miss your hairline Curt hahaha
Me too Mitch!!!😢
