Omg! You did it! You listened! I was just suggesting to one of the customer service about you doing a video about these dip pens. I love you guys so much!!!!❤
The washi tapes are so cute! Love that you guys are branching out into some fun little stationery accessories. Also, dusty purples are some of my absolute favorite colors. That Monteverde is prettyyyy cool.
Wow that Visconti Looking East Pen, 😨 so beautiful!!! Way out of my range but like you said just beautiful to look at! Thanks for the opportunity, Drew! 🌟
Thanks Drew! Great video! Yea, the Sailor dip pens are confusing but you did a great job breaking them down. I consider the line to be the “Lego version” of dip pens. It’s basically a bunch of components you can put together how you want!🤷♀️ Thanks again! Keep smiling! ❤️🙋🏼♀️🖋
Have a Sailor Dipton nib/ink combo. My sole issue is that the opening on the Dipton ink bottle is too narrow. One needs a magnetic stirrer or rocking table to keep the shimmer mixed in. I have been using a variety of vintage dip nibs. Some are scratchy and some are very nice, but they are cheap so easy to buy several.
The Visconti made me bust out laughing at the end. I LOVE that such a simple medium (the pen) can result in such expressive ostentatious designs. It's never going to be in my collection, but I'm happy it exists and will be perfect for someone else.
Hey Drew! You have a great presentation ability. You never sound scripted, and always appear to be speaking with the audience. There's another competitor online retailer (Their company also starts with the letter "G"). Their presenter always always sounds scripted. He's not talking with the audience. He's talking AT them. Big difference. Anyway, great show
Haha thank you! These videos are 100% unscripted. Our more produced content is sometimes scripted to an extent, but yeah, this is just me being me! - Drew
Have both the Iro-Utsushi and Hocoro with feed and like them both. Find myself using the former more since it's so easily cleaned. The Visconti is -- Wow! Thank you, Drew. Fun and informative, as is your wont.
Oh dear... I kind of wish I waited... though I just placed a larger than usual order... so now the tapes and new pens will have to wait a little on my wishlist. And of course I just got a new dip pen from you guys... Ok, so maybe I didn't totally jump the gun, because I think I have the Sailor one coming my way. So thank you for the walk through because I just ordered a set. I was actually looking for the one that came with the ink, but saw that they were sold out and this came up on the search. While I don't think I will be getting a lot of what you showed, I appreciate this closer look at the new products. See you next time, Drew!
Some really beautiful pens. My goodness, I've always wanted to try a 1.0 nib, but didn't want to buy a pen. These dip pens give me a chance to try new nib sizes first!
I just ordered a bronze rollerball Monteverde Formula M, making it my first rollerball pen. I haven't found anything that guarantees it, but I've heard there's a refill insert that allows the use of fountain pen ink to load the refills. Iirc it originated with a Google search where I learned that a Jacques Herbin refill that potentially fills the bill. I haven't purchased any refills for the bronze Formula M rollerball pen yet because I plan on verifying the info with you. Thanks for all the little things you have one of the most useful is the writing examples that each individual nib produces.
I saw the Pilot dip pens this summer in a hands-on display in Tokyo and assumed they were inly for testing inks. Surprising to learn they have any other purpose or can compete with existing products.
I bought the Monteverde Innova recently--lovely pain, great hardware. In addition to the Robert Oster inks, the Rohrer & Klingner Scabiosa (ink gall) is a great match.
Hi Drew!: Exciting stuff! Really digging the separate nibs and reservoirs for the Hocoro pens! Now I can change to either a regular fine or a stub nib! COOL! That Esterbrook Estie set is a really good deal, too! I assume that comes with a converter also? Anyway, thanks for showing all the cool new stuff!
Love a purple pen. So, the Formula M is calling my name. And the Taccia pens are gorgeous. Currently out of my price rage. But next year looks promising. So, you never know.
A year ago I would have said there was no way I would ever drop 2k on a pen, but seeing that Visconti Looking east pen, I may have completely lost my mind but I love it!
The Taccia Miyabi pens are the runaway show-stoppers here. I’d love to have either of the pens shown here. I’d prefer the pens to be clipless, though. That would be aesthetically ideal. The price is just about alright. But for the full range of nib size options, I’ll have to look elsewhere to buy this pen.
Ah, Drew, how you make my wallet whimper. But that Taccia was irresistible as grail pens go. Plus, I owed myself a holiday gift at my age. So maybe I 'll get myself a lump of coal to make up for giving in to the I WANT urge. Edited to add I think it was the Urushi clip that got me. Just so gorgeous.
Drew!!! Once again another great video!! Glad to see you're not drinking your "coffee "!!! Oh I almost forgot... .ummm how.....how..how long did the doctor say you had to wear the sweater?....Just.....wondering.
I like the colors on the Taccia. I think the nib does look a bit small once it's uncapped in relation to the rest of the pen. As for the dip pens, it's hard to justify one of those that costs as much as a fountain pen. I just hink "I could be dipping my Metropolitan. instead"
You're not wrong. I will say that a true fountain pen feed is deceptively absorbent, and will be harder to get 100% clean compared to these dip pens. Still, you could just grab a Kakuno...which is an amazing pen. - Drew
The Taccia pens definitely deserved a #8 sized nib. The section also looks a bit too wide and girthy. But gosh, the pens are truly gorgeous. I have also been wanting the Empress Winter’s Breath. The Miyabi line of pens are uniformly very desirable.
Hi, Drew! Almost impossible to believe, but you have made a video of new stuff that did not have me tying myself down not to buy something. But that is also your fault. You and Brian hooked me a few weeks ago with the Taccia Owl chinkin pen, and now it‘s that pen or nothing! So - it‘s nothing! 😢That will certainly change when the Owl is gone, but this afternoon, it was still available.
Can anyone tell me if the fude on hocoro writes the same with fude on sailor fountain pens? I want to buy a fountain pens with fude nib but i hate the feeling on the hocoro. The scrathyness/feedback is too much for me. I have a sailor FP with steel F nib and I like the feedback but the one on hocoro fude is just too much.
Big fan of your Channel ❤ The Schon DSGN looks stunning but it's sad that it's a cartridge only pen. Any recommendations on an eye dropper or converter pocket pen? Thanks and Merry Christmas 🎄 ❤
Look at Gravitas. He makes the Pocket Dropper, which is very cool, or a Quark. My Quark is Torlon, so could be ED'd. And there are Titanium and Ultem versions of his pens, which should also be suitable.
Schon Dsgn also has eyedropperable pens in engineered plastics, including ultem, black ultem, and PEEK (which is white). I would recommend those. The workmanship is superb.
Been using the Sailor Hocoro for a few weeks now and loving it. The little feed/reservoir you can get for it is a game changer
I have a Pilot Iro-Utsushi and I love it for not only testing new inks but also getting the last bits out of ink samples
Smart about the samples
Yes! That's a really good idea! - Drew
I was wondering how this would work with sample vials as some dip pens don’t
Omg! You did it! You listened! I was just suggesting to one of the customer service about you doing a video about these dip pens. I love you guys so much!!!!❤
Brian K. told me someone was asking for a video, and I said I already planned on one! Yay! - Drew
The washi tapes are so cute! Love that you guys are branching out into some fun little stationery accessories. Also, dusty purples are some of my absolute favorite colors. That Monteverde is prettyyyy cool.
If yall sell washi tape and other cute stationery, goulet really will become my main go to for anything stationery
Wow that Visconti Looking East Pen, 😨 so beautiful!!! Way out of my range but like you said just beautiful to look at! Thanks for the opportunity, Drew! 🌟
Sailor pro gear soul of chess is so beautiful. Really impressed.
Thank you for sharing this with us.
That pen roll looks pretty metal. 🤘

Drew, I have to share this news of mine 😊 I managed to get a brown Diplomat Aero, and I'm so happy. It's awesome!
YAYYYY!!! - Drew

That Monteverde Formula M is luscious. Want!
Such a fun color, too! - Drew

Love the sweater Drew.
Thank! I have one in green, too - It's my favorite design! - Drew

Thanks, Drew!!! That Sands of Komodo pen is drool-worthy lol It’s on my someday list for sure 😁
The opening had some serious Mr. Rogers vibes. Lolll which is not a bad thing at all.
Yes! Those clips are extra stunning. - Drew
Oooh that Estie bundle... I like the Visconti mainly because it's clipless unlike their other pens.
And at the same price! I can't believe I forgot to say that! It's a crazy good deal. - Drew
Drew!!! Once again another great video!! Glad to see you're not drinking your "coffee "!!!
Oh I almost forgot... .ummm how.....how..how long did the doctor say you had to wear the sweater?....Just.....wondering.
My friend sent me a hocoro with the fude nib and it writes for so long with the reservoir!
Now I know what Vermeil looks like! I've always wondered about it when watching The West Wing.
Gorgeous pens Drew! Thanks Drew!
Thanks! - Drew
Any possibility of getting a black nib on the pocket 6?
I like the colors on the Taccia. I think the nib does look a bit small once it's uncapped in relation to the rest of the pen.

They are sexy!!! It's not the size that counts but the skill!! LOL
The Taccia pens definitely deserved a #8 sized nib. The section also looks a bit too wide and girthy. But gosh, the pens are truly gorgeous. I have also been wanting the Empress Winter’s Breath. The Miyabi line of pens are uniformly very desirable.

Great Job Drew!

WOOOOOT for dip pens!!! :D :D :D
Some really nice items there, shame the minimum order for shipping to the UK is so high.
Good news! The minimum order for UK orders is gone! - Drew
@@Gouletpens wow, that is indeed good news. Except an order in the next few days.

I will stop watching your channel because, every time you show something new, I want it!!
Good luck!!
Oops! :) - Drew
The Washi😍
I never thought i would need washi tape, but now I do!
Every video on my recommended with "dip pen" (or anything from this channel) is a danger to my wallet 😂😂❤
I need to finally do a (bigger) order and let it be shipped overseas... oh poor wallet. But with the corgi washi I'm sold😂
Schon DSGN Pocket 6! ♥🧡♥
Are the prices on your website in USD$??
By default, yes - but you can change the currency if you scroll to the bottom! - Drew
Still on the hunt for a seven slot pen case or roll 😢
4:18 GET OUT OF HERE! 😂😂😂😂😂
That Visconti looks way over the top but I like it!
My thoughts exactly! - Drew
I get paid tomorrow

i'm still waiting on that endless creator
That monteverde cap/clip looks an awful lot like a certain German pen company's.
Doesn't it? That's probably why I like it so much! 😂
👍👍
The Estie set is gone already 😢
The Pilot dip pens without a feed are a fail. I'd rather just use a Plumix as a dip pen.
Omg, exclusive washi tapes😁🩵😁 you guys are so cool!
I shouldn't have watched this on pay day 🫣
Oh yeah no same bad idea
RIP your wallet
Too true. But how could you or I resist, especially after a week with no pencast.
Hahaha what did you order?
