Haters might want to give it a try when given the opportunity, I suspect their feelings towards it will change. It did for me, so much that I purchased one and never looked back. It catches so much attn because if it’s unique quirk design. 👍

Absolutely love this Watch. Wasn’t 100% about it, UNTIL I saw one in the metal. When I tried it on I loved it! It is such a quirky piece and the bezel lock latch is a great feature to fiddle with. I really wish that Tudor would Dare a bit more often as more conventional Black Bay releases aren’t Born to Dare. ✊
I really like this watch. It prolly the one Tudor I want to buy. Don't get me wrong, I like Tudor, but you only need one in the collection, and the BB is the one to have. And out of all the BB iterations this one wins my coin. Gonna have to try one on to see if I can wear it, my wrist might be too small. Would love to add to the collection.

Nice video Tim. I've owned this since its release and love it. I wear it often because its fun to play with at the office. I am glad Tudor had the guts to release this watch; it has become one of my preferred travel watches. The bezel works surprisingly well as a low budget way to track a second time zone. And it's one of the first Tudor watches to utilize the Rolex style crown which I prefer over the new Tudor crown.
I think it looks really good snd abit of a departure from the generic black bay format, it is a shame though that the lug to lug is too vast , unwearable for my wrist
I believe the "drilled lugs" is where the bezel lock pivots. The strap itself can be replaced with anything of same width, just needs to be shorter. Would be interesting to see what it would look like with the bezel locks removed and a strap fitted with a beefy spring bar in the pivot holes.
Its the end links and strap that do this thing such and injustice. On a bracelet (normal bracelet) it would be magnificent. Edit: I take it back the more I look at it the more I dislike it. The lugs are too tall and long, its too tall at 14mm - I get it has a tiny bit of historical significance but why make it unwearable?
It is not that I dislike the design per se, but I find it completely unwearable. It is too large from lug-to-lug standpoint, and that is the dealbreaker for me. Otherwise...actually, I don't like the design either, but I don't find it offensive as some folks on the Internet do...to each his own, I guess, but I think that Tudor messed this one royally.
I just don't get how this design made it to production it just doesn't work , the proportions are just wrong , the crown placement is awkward there is no balance to the design , nope not for me .

There is no history to this watch other than it was a prototype which was never in production. Bought one and at the time of typing have it on my wrist. You need to try one on especially if you are looking for a watch away from the norm and really leaves a lasting impression. The finishes are flawless!

I completely agree, it reminds me of when the Ferrari Testarossa came out, didn't look good in pictures but it really did look far better in person. I am defiantly reserving judgement until I actually get to see it in person. but I really am fascinated with its uniqueness, I'll defiantly know once it goes on my wrist.

Bought this watch on a whim. Wear it the most out of the others. It’s just a nice watch on the wrist. It gets noticed more than any dive watch.

I think it's unique and has it's own charm, but definitely not for everybody.
I really like the vintage snowflakes, of the modern iterations, this is the only watch I'd consider. Quirky and distinctive so fits my tastes

The P01 is 100% Rolex dna.

Many people like the 4 o clock crown placement, it can keep a crown from digging into the back of your hand
