Thank you for taking the time to explain for potential patients. I had a full l set of the snap dentures and for ten years could not wear them at all. After a few months of them falling out, can't bear them in my mouth from pain and anxiety and cant eat with them. They were in a drawer the entre yen years I had them. So I had 2 posts on top and 2 on bottom sticking up but no teeth for ten years. Now for the last eleven years I have FIXED Zirconia full set with 13 implants to hold them. After healing it took me about two months to adjust to the pinch pain then they have been as good as my original teeth with no maintenance needed. I eat anything I want with no movement and nothing over the my roof. Just like teeth should be. Its more expensive but worth every penny. I could suggest schools for implantology sometimes give huge discounts for patients that allow them to demonstrate to students while doing procedures. I cant say this enough. No matter what your doctor will try to have you settle with... If possible GET FIXED DENTURES!
If you don't mind me asking , how much more expensive are they over the standard acrylic full arches??
I can't seem to find prices on them at all the area is so vague its concerning... if I'm going to do it(in 2 months), I want to do it right the first time.
Considering I'm still relatively young, I'm going to need something that lasts.
My local dentist wants me to get the most basic of dentures for some reason, even when I've said I'm willing to pay up. In actual fact im going to travel to India where it is literally 18% of the total cost in Australia.
Why would you suggest that doctors will "try to have you settle" with something? Doctors would be glad to do these procedures if patients can afford them. Why would a doctor talk you out of it?
@@perseus9428 My dentist is pushing for me to get the cheapest option, that isnt in my best interests at all.
if i want the better options they know its silly expensive where i live and they know people are not likely get it done with them, insteads going overseas.
They push for the cheapest option thats likely to make themselves money, at my expense or quality of life. They dont care.. no morals
Update: my dentist is now holding my 3d xrays hostage, refusing to give them out in a pathetic attempt to make me get the work done with them... or needing to pay for a new 3d xray at a different dentist.. which aint cheap where i live!

@@spankymcgee2864 I don't know the law but if you paid for those 3d x-rays you should be entitled to them. Threaten legal action and do not use this dentist.
I work at a dental lab and I gotta say, it's one of the most satisfying jobs I've ever had. I do the shading and glazing on crowns. And I do porcelain build up.

Your work is great Tnx for sharing. However from the life span point of view this is the worst possible choice to the patient simply because is a well known fact (by now) amongst dental professionals that there is a very high chance for small cracks near or around each pin hole due to uneven contact between the crown and the titanium implants. Therefore the strongest solution would be a Titanium Barr that greatly strengthens the whole work and ensures no crack at all.

Beautiful and full zirconia. Thank you for the video. I would like such an all on four, preferrably six, implants very much.. Do you know any implant-doctors that make use of these on zirconia implants (all on six)? I am trying to find one (after having the experience of many teeth that broke in the roots after rootcanaltreatments. About which there, I found out later, is a book called 'the root canal cover up').

Hi, that’s the sintering process where the bridge reaches the hardest consistency and the expected dimension; the layering and staining processes will follow.

You should discuss this with your dentist. The material in itself (zirconia) is durable. But a successful long-term implant treatment is not just about the material of the prosthesis. There are many other factors. The type of implants, their number and position, the prosthesis's passive fit, their care, the patient's general health, and so on. All of this should be discussed with the health professional before starting any treatment for an appropriate evaluation of the costs and benefits.

Went to Mexico, got 12 titanium Straumann implants, now, I can't afford to buy the full set bridges, so I'm teaching myself how to make them. I'm going to make a mold from my temporary dentures and take it from there. My dentist said she'd work with me, she said I could trust her!
Nope! She pulled all of my teeth put the implants, charged me up the wazooo, and refuses to finish unless I pay for the bridges upfront, when we had agreed to a payment plan, my dentist is a thief. Took my teeth, took my money and Now, I lost my job, don't have teeth and find finding employment opportunities in sales with no teeth is impossible. Any advice would be great! 🥴
