1:38 the power consumption looks pretty efficient when the GPU usage is close to 100%
I love the 4000-series for their efficiency. I have a RTX 4070, VENTUS 2X E OC model from MSI. I have it undervolted at 950mV 2700MHz, it's very efficient. Power usage does not go above 150W in Cyberpunk 2077 at 2560X1440 Ray Tracing Ultra preset with DLSS set on Auto. In benchmarks, the power usage hovers between 120W-140W. Awesome performance for that power usage, it consumes less power than a RTX 3060. Also temperature wise it's awesome when undervolted, the model i have is one of the weakest models in terms of cooling performance yet the average temperature when gaming or benchmarking is around 60 degrees celsius. At stock the temperatures would go up to 70 degrees celsius pretty often.
@@-kr1su I have the MSI 3x vents OC edition too, I don't even bother overclocking cos I get over 200fps at low settings in Warzone. I use it with 7800x3d, it's almost perfect

I had Resizable bar enabled on that system, so yes.
I did undervolt it, but I did enable a setting in the bios called kombo strike which improved temps and frequency

Hello there! One of my friends wants me to build him a 240fps Warzone machine, having a 600$ 4070/7800xt able to do that is great news really but which cpu would you recommend for a budget build: Am4 Ryzen 5000 (5700x3d?)

My current HTPC setup with the same cpu and Zotac RTX 4070 O/C model and it’s a great gaming GPU for fps titles at 1080p/1440p competitive settings. In addition at high settings for 4K 60+ fps for single player titles on my OLED👀.

edit, i had a thought. instead of flat out disabling the cores without 3d, why not just set the application affinity in task manager to only use the 3d cores? not sure if this would work. let me know!

The average 1% low will be higher and more stable / consistent. Both of those cpus will maximise the performance from the 4070ti.

@@JayPeff1 I am not 100% certain. For most games you should be fine with that combo; in some games, you may start to see bottlenecking from the cpu, where the gpu will read 95-98% performance in 1080p and 1440p. Not the end of the world, the combo still works overall.

He can actually utilize 100 percent of gpu in 1080p, you need to tweak ryzen cpu properly, tweak your ram, check how much bclk you can get, if it can hit 2200 so you need to oc ram to 6600 memclk=uclk in bios, if not it is 1:3 ratio - 2000/6000 2133/6400 etc. use tight timings, also on some bios releases you can oc cpu through curve up to 5250mhz, and if you got mainboard with clock generator, there are couple of those, with smt disabled you can get up to 5.5+ ghz on cpu, ofc not setting soc voltage above 1.25-1.3 Also after you disabling smt, you need to go to your game cfg file and check renderer que count, need to tweak it to 8-9, cause now you got 13-15, game does not understand when you enable/disable smt. Also force REBAR ON through NVIDIA inspector. When you are trying to see your real fps when frame gen is ENABLED, use nvidia driver monitoring, RTSS does not give you real information, because frames are rendered on a subdriver level. And real input latency are also displayed there. I play 1440x1080 on 130 percent render quality(a bit more than 2k) on my tweaked 7700x with 5550 all core fclk 2000 ram6000 30:36:36:28 all timings tweaked, latency on all closed tasks 58.2 Context restore and Gear Down mode disabled(carefull with it, disable or enable only both of those, you wont boot) - this makes your PC boot so slow - but you have no latency penalty, mainboard MSI b650-A WiFi, cant get 5750 due to bios hidden AGESA restrictions, got 230+ fps textures high CAS 100% NO DLSS a lot of tweaks in gamefiles rebar ON in NVIDIA inspector. And OC your 4070, not even by curve, it can make 3050mhz stable, with a 12k mhz vram clocks. With a curve it reaches up to 3250mhz core, sample to sample difference. On gigabyte there is one wich have bug with a 160% powerlimit - maaaaaaan it destroys)) I perconally got Palit Dual 4070OC, Fan curve must to be changed, For a good boost GPU should never reach 70 degrees whatsoever. Also pay attention that Ryzen 7000cpus have a biiiiiig temperature problems, where you can cool intel 250w, your 130-150w ryzen got your cooler on his knees, this is due to compatibility with old am4 coolers with a special mounting bracket. If you can get rid of 1.5-2mm of copper on a chip, you will get up to 35 degrees improvment in temps. You got nice videos, hope youll see this, and it will help you to make even better content.

Hey kryzzp, I have GTX 1060 6g and I tested Warzone on all the upscaling modes available and I found that native 1080p ( without upscaling ) with dynamic resolution target at 100 fps have better fps, beside that I don't lose visibility, Btw my CPU is I5 8400. Anyway if you can just try it out like that in old specs I believe it works better that way
Upscaling would tax your 6c/6t CPU hence why you would get more FPS without it.

@@TAwNDurst most people don't understand that DLSS/FSR/XeSS is not free 'performance'.. it basically sips some CPU resource to relieve the GPU.
In your case, the 6t CPU would really struggle on that. I did a video once on a Ryzen 4100 4c/8t and the results was consistent with yours - it was better without upscaling tech because the CPU was already bottlenecked in Warzone.

4070 is really good for warzone cuz it's not GPU intensive but it's extremely CPU intensive so u need a crazy CPU.
12700k Overclocked does great with my build on warzone. Picked it up on sale for $200 a few months ago

My pc has a 4070 ti. My question is I just bought a new pre built pc from Best Buy. When playing on high rise and other maps. Some tiles show a very bright red light and sometimes my screen goes very blurry/ black. Is anyone else dealing with this?

I get 220+ fps with 4070 hags off and rebar turned off in config files. Results are different for everyone though. Not using dlss just fidelity fx on 1440p low

you should try a game called unturned for lower end gpu's
i use an i7 12700k and get a stable 200 fps 1080p with low settings. you do not need an i9 for an extra 40fps
haha GPUs have an item in Plunder since Warzone 2.0. There are even some that are worth $10K :o

If you're fine with 120fps then yes it's enough. Everything higher will be cpu limited.

@@A7oub for 240fps you need a latest high end lga 1700 or non 3d am5 cpu with some ram tuning. Even tuned 9900K and 5800x3d get 200fps at best

DLSS Performance is intended for 4K and that doesn't mean many people use it. I prefer to use Quality in many cases :)

Damn! They must've changed something in this version of WZ, back when WZ2 came out the 5800X3D was getting similar FPS to a 13900K, and my 13600K OCed got way lower fps than the 5800X3D (they were on par in other games)

Dlss3 add input lag and blur effect , I think is not good for this type of games
Frame generation shouldn't be used. DLSS doesn't add any of that

@@iamvenk0lol of course it's not, especially in lows. That 13600K is running weak out of the box untuned ram etc. This cpu will do 300fps when tuned, just as my 9900K does 220 with fast ram.

Since you seems to like football i will quote a famous French soccer movie " Try creative and you will see Juventus " . Same go for PC, you want maximum FPS, get some copium and buy a 4090.
I'm far for being a good player let alone competitive player, but i do play BF2042 on time to time and when i used to it i have no problem reaching top 5 with some 1st place on 64players maps once every three moon. Using a PS4 controller and a 6500XT @ 1440p 30fps RTSS lock with flat frame time... If you don't make money playing video games for a living 140fps is way enough, and if you suck on games 500fps will not help you. But if you have bugs at your finger tips and too much money, consider Charity.
