"Drummer Bob Bryar sustained second and third degree burns on the back of his legs while shooting the video, yet persisted in staying until the recording was finished. This burn later resulted in gangrene. Way tore muscles in his leg and foot when Frank Iero tackled him while he was in a kneeling position, leaving him in a hospital for several days. Way recalls that, during the filming, they were all "mortified" from the engulfing flames surrounding the set. After the stay in the hospital, the doctors refused to let them perform in San Diego as the band originally planned. Ray Toro fractured his fingers also during shooting and Bob Bryar received multiple blisters around his hand as a result of extreme playing over a long period of time." (Wiki)

I first heard this song in 2007, at a friend's house because I was staying over again because our electricity was cut off, we only got to eat when our neighbor gave us food and someone always had to be at the apartment or else we would be evicted.
I was a few months shy of turning 13, my mom was alcoholic, the whole family was going against each other.
If I didn't hear this song at my friends place, I really don't know if I would be here now.
I'm 27 now and this is one of the songs I always listen to help me; even when my depression was so bad, it would at least help me sit up.

Every morning I wake up listening to these lyrics, still my greatest motivation after all those years. Gerard's voice sounds like an old good friend that offer you comfort during the bad times and share with you the few happy moments of your life.
Their music is ageless and timeless and I will always be grateful to them for still being around 🖤

@@chris4181 Linkin Park are actually my favourite band of all time. Every single sentence of every song comes with so much passion and relateability. MCR are a very close second. Pleased to hear I’m not the only one who they’ve physically helped to get through stuff mate.

2 known facts to go along with you listening pleasure. The drummer had a broken ankle while shooting this video, and hid it because he was afraid of not fitting in with the band, aaaannnndd. He nearly got roasted alive shooting this as well. He ended up with 1st degree burns by the end of production for Famous Last Words.
