Google calendar all the way. I won’t hang up with anyone until the appointment is logged in the app, in the proper color (each person has their own color), I add the location as well, so if I need directions I just click it.
Easily shared, and many companies have a click here to add to your google calendar. Best thing I’ve ever learned from my mentor.

I'm with you on the planner. Too much happening and not simple enough. Its like I want simple but also complex.😂 None are what I see as perfect. Basically they don't clean my house, pay my bills, run my errands, and make my grocery list for me.😂

When we moved to our new house 5 years ago, we bought a robot vacuum, because our kids were smaller (2y.o and 4y.o) and they ran between the garden and inside a lot and there were pieces of grass and sand, so I loved the idea of robot cleaning the floors every day. But after a year I noticed using the robot less and less. Because, let's be clear, robot vacuum is not as effective as me cleaning with the regular vacuum. So at some point we gifted out robot to a family member who wanted on. And I don't regret it at all. I love that the corner where the robot used to be is empty now 😉👍

Incandescent lightbulbs have been outlawed for years in the USA. LED is all that is available. I checked the Koze website and their lightbulbs say “FULL SPECTRUM LED BLUE” right on the package.

I'm a fan of kitchen gadgets actually! We're offgrid so I don't use electric gadgets often, but small manual gadgets like my manual food processor, hand crank hand whisk, and salad spinner, and hand spinning popcorn pot get used almost every day. But I do have one drawer for them, and if it gets tight in there, I'm not allowed to buy anymore.

I am an eye doctor and I enjoy your videos - but I was truly disappointed that you were promoting not wearing sunglasses. I have seen too many patients suffer from cataracts, macular degeneration, pterygium, and even cancer in their eyes because of life long exposure to the sun and its harmful UV rays . Perhaps be more careful when giving health advice. Sunglasses are extremely important for ocular health.

I cannot apologize for having a different opinion! I wouldn't even say that I'm 100% sure on this--I don't think I could say I'm 100% sure on anything except for my Lord, Jesus Christ. But I like learning about every side to particular claims and beliefs--Matt Blackburn is someone I have enjoyed learning from because he actually tests all sides to specific claims! Here's the post I read and I've even chatted with him through IG. Give it a read, what are your thoughts? And you're totally allowed to have a different opinion, but I ask that you allow me to have a different opinion too(preferably without you shutting it down before you even asked questions). I used to never wear sunglasses, but now always get headache if I stay too long outside on a sunny day and don't have sunglasses. I work in the kindergarten and we are outside with kids at last 2 hours per day (but mostly close to 4hrs).
I love how you mentioned barefoot shoes. I think you are the first UA-camr who advocates healthy and minimal living and applies that for feet health!!! Me and my kids have been using barefoot shoes for 3,5 years now and I could never go back.

Holy cow, the number of offended people in the comments 😂 Yes, I have a robot vacuum that I love and will keep drinking my inexpensive moldy coffee, but I’m also not at all offended that she chooses not to. Take what resonates with you and leave the rest.

Led lightbulbs have also very cozy and warm lighttones. Not all of them are hospital white. All of the lightbulbs at our home are led, but warmtoned. Some we can make ever dimmer. They are definitely energy saving and more environmental friendly!

Great video. I agree with not wearing sunglasses, we and sun were created together but not together with sunglasses. Although I agree full sunlight might be harmful for people who are not used to it, those from colder climate, those staying inside most of the time. And photos - I started with photobooks but then I realized, what to do with them once my kids grow up or we die. So I make albums - later they can each choose what photos they want to keep...because noone would like to keep like 20 photobooks from childhood right 😅 and as far as journals - I also keep a notebook two pages for one week on the right there are two columns - to do / to buy list. On the left I keep 3 columns for each day - in first I write meal plan, second is for tasks and plans for morning and third is for tasks and plans in the afternoon. I write there everything I need.

    Einkorn sourdough bread
    Fresh elderberry syrup
Raw goats milk kefir and yogurt
    Homemade kombucha
Ironically , it's all the unhealthy family and friends that tell me how dangerous these things are.
When they get healthy themselves, I'd deem their advice with some credibility.
Truth is, I've never felt better.
A simple life, and more simple foods is what I needed for so long.
I found out the hard way, the medical industry doesn't always know best.
Trust your body and listen to it ❤️
More often that not, simplicity is what we need in many respects .

A couple of months in she found out she was pregnant! Her girlfriends pitched in and loaned her clothes. She had a wonderful maternity wardrobe. I love stories that are examples of God’s unexpected blessings.

I have been wearing the same sneakers for my walks, group workouts, jogs, etc. . for nine years now.and they are falling apart. I WILL be thrifting a pair in better condition on ThredUp probably.
I love homeschool curriculums, but I was always strict about what I was getting and why I was getting what. I am glad you are going to do that too.
I never thought about getting meat from a local farmer. How did you go about doing that? Was there a collective website or anything for it? I need to research! That's awesome.
Oh yeah, I wear coats until they fall apart. My husband used to tell me to replace my last coat so many times. I think I waited three years with it falling apart before I finally did haha. Now the one I have been wearing; I have had for six years. It's in good shape.
We are the same with mugs. Haha. My husband is a hoodie junkie. I have one and he gets free ones from his job sometimes. I'm like, "Wait. . I thought you just went down to two. . I think I see five now." Then he'll grin and shrug. haha.
I don't wear sunglasses. My eye doctor tells me to. I'm a rebel.
We have two pillows. . I hate pillows. I could go without even. I like lying flat. Mine has no fluff and I love that.
