- I've been wanting to make a dedicated Zelda video for awhile now speculating just what we could see from the franchise in 2024, and yesterday we got a pretty interesting rumor from UA-camr PapaGenos, suggesting that a game with a playable Princess Zelda is on the horizon.

I think playing as zelda (the botw/totk version) in a kingdom outside of hyrule would be pretty cool.
The 2D playable Zelda idea sounds good.
I want them to make BOTW into a quadrilogy. It’s already a trilogy, with AOC included.
Zelda playable works better in a Spinoff games Link is the main hero and should be in the main series Zelda games.

It's a complete pipe dream, but the idea of a playable Zelda in ancient Hyrule DLC would work absolutely PERFECTLY and it would address many of the complaints I had with TOTK. I know Nintendo said they had "no plans" for TOTK DLC, but they never said it was completely off the table.
A collection like the mario one, but with all multiplayer zelda games with online would be nice, they are so underrated.
Twilight princess and wind waker are good games and all, but come on, it would be the fourth time for Twilight princes and third for wind waker, not even a link to the past or ocarina of time have that much

I do like PapaGenos, he's a good guy, but of course I'm sceptical of this game coming into fruition. However, I hope he's right because I'd love a Zelda-focused Zelda game!
Hopefully another Link's Awakening engine game. I don't mind if it's a remake but I really want another topdown Zelda game in that art style.
What if we got phantom hourglass and spirit tracks. Spirit tracks would cover the zelda as a main character/ playable character.
I don’t trust PapaGenos. Prime remastered was something people were predicting every direct for the past 3 years, so saying that’s gonna shadow drop isn’t that far fetched. And him hinting at Mario RPG when Pyoro said “SNES remake” also isn’t a big prediction, just him making his own predictions without any info. As for the likelihood of a Zelda game this year, yes a Zelda game is likely. I feel like he’s just making a blanket statement so if Zelda is playable anywhere he can claim he’s right
Ehhhh, no one was talking about Prime Remastered shadow drop. It’s by far the biggest thing they’ve ever dropped like that, the next closest thing would be like…Tetris 99
You could be right though. Either way I think it kinda makes sense given Peach got her own game, and regardless a Zelda game this year is definitely likely! Exciting times ahead
@@BoTalksGames Let’s hope so! I’d hope for a 2D Zelda game with Zelda as the mc. Maybe 3D Zelda is for Link and 2D Zelda is for Zelda?

If they did make a solo Zelda game like peach , I think this means Nintendo is look at what people want more then we think, this has been asked for years now.

Well I remember papagenos covering false leaks at the beginning of the switch era so I’m not putting too much stock into this one, but who knows.
That being said, I already wish Zelda was playable in totk so I hope this turns out to be true

I think there’s plenty of room for a one off spin off that’s closer to an actual Zelda game than Hyrule Warriors where she’s the focus

I want an ocarina of time remake. Amazing story and dungeons but it aged like crap. Needs to be modernized.
