The best reviewer in the game! Once I got my ears to conform to the non-alchemist production it really grew on me, and you said something that really hit home his chorus flows have stepped up big time to the point where he’s approaching Banks territory and that’s rarefied air

Now dont get me wrong, I def prefer Boldy over Alchemist beats but I enjoy him branching out and working with other producers and Real Bad Man is talented af. You ain’t lied, he does use choruses quite a bit but idk if he has a album where they’re this well written - Manger on McNichols only one probably. Also, I didn’t really realize it before but every song on Real Bad Boldy had a chorus as well.
Definitely agree that this album felt complete from start to finish. Think this was a good follow up to his Alchemist projects from last year, really love what Boldy brings with the vivid imagery

I skipped past intro on my first listen but first line I heard from Benny was “I stole a pack then I sold it back/ we rollin in lacs and got fold up gats with shoulder straps” and my ears immediately perked up lol! Boldy James is definitely one of the best rappers right now i’ve realized. His delivery is exactly my taste and his lines are so great throughout the album. Yezzir! Tried to get it out a lil earlier but I been dragging my feet lol. Yeah those been my fav joints plus Open Door. I think everyone would have expectations seeing those 3 on the same joint and they didn’t disappoint! TPOTIC is my fav Boldy album (still is after this) but I honestly think this joint is better. His rapping def is better on this one. I do think Manger on McNichols and Bo Jackson are a step above this one. If I had to rank best and fav I’m going… Best: 1. Manger on McNichols 2. Bo Jackson 3. But Rome is very high up on the last of cats I’m eager to hear any new shit from, Boldy is up there too. Boldy said he’s got a project done with Futurewave too, I’m hoping that is dope; the project Rome did with Futurewave gets a lot of replay from me. There was just a track put out recently called POZA with Rome Streetz and Rick Hyde over an Alc beat, you gotta peep that.
i love everyone in the griselda sphere. i think westside gunn is my favorite but i have to say i’ve never heard a bad boldy verse ever, and i def consider him the most consistently good one. everything he put out is at least good. usually great. he has a really cool way of enunciating things. also he has my favorite abstract drug bars, like he will say a bunch of words and i know he’s talking about selling crack but i have no clue what any of it means. very solid album and all the features are good. i really liked the spanish part from crime apple too. also “don’t be another face tat on my bro” is great that made me pause
I’m right there with you. Gunn isn’t the best but he’s entertaining af, stays true to that Griselda sound, and I’m always most excited for his releases. Crazy thing about Boldy’s consistency is the amount of projects he’s put out to go along with it. I think this is his 7th project since 2020 which is more than any other Griselda member I think. He’s really found his footing - I honestly didn’t think he was that great of a rapper prior to TPOTIC but his lyrics got more personal and gritty, he found his signature sound with alchemist, and he’s steadily improved as a lyricist. Crime be hit or miss to me sometimes but when he’s on he’s on! Yeah he’s the best with incorporating bilingual bars imo. I like how he can flow in and out of it and typically he uses words and phrases that you don’t really have to know Spanish to understand.
I recently got put on - I’ve only heard Bangkok Adrenaline so far but someone else told me I gotta check out BD3. BA is tough af though. Idk if ima get to a reaction but I’m def check it out fasho
