So glad that that there are people that know what happened back then. Survivor’s guilt... I feel sorry for Dave having to be in a situation like that with his girl, i’m just going to clear up for all the mandem that don’t know why it’s like that with albanians: Most of the first-generation immigrants from Albania and Kosovo are still in trauma from what happened and they refuse to let anyone outside their culture marry their children, as they only trust their own people due to severe betrayal back in the 90’s (yugoslavia war). This always got passed down generations but its slowly going away as more albanians are immigrating into other countries. big up Lee!!

You know I went into this album the wrong way. I had Psychodrama expectations overlooking his new album. My approach was wrong. But as I’m sitting here listening to your review, it’s like we’ve sat down and we’re reviewing and brainstorming on this album only. Your introspect on this album has enlightened and made me see just how mind blowing this album really is. It’s coming from a different zone. Bless up! Dave is one smart brudda I give him that.

The fact Ghetts separated himself on that track and has been one of the biggest talking points on Daves album speaks volumes to Ghetts as an artist. He's so different.
Ghetts verse makes me excited for his future there’s not a single mc on the planet who’s done music as long as he has and yet is still able to progress in ability way past any name out there. Conflict of interest was just the beginning - his best moment is yet to come in my eyes. Deluxe and new album by the end of the year. Apparently "Twenty to One", when he says "look at the time it's twenty to one", if you'd started the album at midnight on launch it would've been 00:40am. Deep levels
Not watched any of your reactions before. I love this album Dave is incredible ,I've always been a Kano fan with his smart intelligent lyrics and Dave is no exception , your reaction to this album amplified it for me. I've subscribed. Honestly keep up the good work I'll keep watching
“Fuck honour, this revolver is onomatopoeic Let it "Stut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-ter" when you see him” … This bar is absolutely outrageous and I hope it doesn’t go over peoples head. If you don’t know what an onomatopoeia is it’s something that resembles/suggests the sound that it describes. It may not be the hardest bar in the album, but his delivery and thought process behind what he writes is second to none.
I dk why but the first 2 and the last 2 were all alone, verdansk, heart attack and survivors guilt, all are my personal favourites but this whole album as a whole is truly beautiful, album of be year IMO, and probs the only artist I could trust to represent the uk scene

"It's demanding more from you as a listener, in an emotional capacity." Couldn't have summed up Heart Attack better, those ten minutes are fucking ridiculous.
Dave has been consistently top 5 in the uk scene since the very start of his career. Maybe not in views or money, but the amount of respect his fans have for him, the realness of almost everything he says, he’s an amazing artist who allows himself to show everyone who’s struggling or has struggled that it can be better when you follow your dreams. I’d go as far to say he could be the future of the uk scene for years to come. Very special album from a very special artist.
The levels Lee puts into reactions is unmatched! Literally pulling apart each song, each bar. Seeing behind it all. Unmatched level of effort and dedication. Love keep grinding ❤️

You're a big inspiration to loads of people and I wish all the best for you. Definitely my favorite video on youtube so keep it up! Big up Lee
Disagree, it's still a stretch. The bar can stand alone on its own. Dave can take the expectation of being a young art collector. You can't reach the conclusion that he was referring to Pascal simply because he mentioned art a d pressure without reaching for that. If Pascal were Basquiat, who was a young black artist, that would have been a little within reach. "How the fuck I end up bein' Harvey Specter? Young black art collector, I could take the pressure Had the scales, now suits that come made to measure"
@@Mcforlarr Point well made. What I really love is the depth of the bars and the thoughts that people have when they hear them. The beauty is people hear what they want to hear.

Glad this is back up. UA-cam were on some BS when they took it down.
finally someone giving Giggs the respect he deserves his verse. they were all maaaad tho.
He slapped his verse up and down 💯🔥🔥🔥
Exactly
Gigs was cold
Difffffffffferenttttt
You know I went into this album the wrong way. I had Psychodrama expectations overlooking his new album. My approach was wrong. But as I’m sitting here listening to your review, it’s like we’ve sat down and we’re reviewing and brainstorming on this album only. Your introspect on this album has enlightened and made me see just how mind blowing this album really is. It’s coming from a different zone. Bless up! Dave is one smart brudda I give him that.
Heart attack is a masterpiece. It actually reminded me of the hardest times. Dave is a real one.
Heart attack had me going 😭😭😭😭. We have to appreciate our mom ❤️
@@aminaabdi3586 For real. It was almost like listening to my own life play out like potentially mixing with bad crowds and getting into some madness, luckily the olders in my ends kept me on track so I avoided that life. Now graduating uni and the fam is blessed. Dave is spitting facts.
I’m sure this project will spur him on to achieve ever greater things…
Agree, I think he’s the best lyricist out there atm alongside Aesop rock
Agreeeed!!! The best from uk. Consistent for years. Please anyone that dont agree , give me a name.
@@Anthony-by6wr I think Kano is the only one arguably there with him man
@@barry4649 you got point there bro defo. They are both my fav. I just think Ghetts for me cause he has been more consistent. I will kill for another Kano album still.
@@Anthony-by6wr I get what you mean because of Kano’s weird commercial faze in the late 2000s but lately Kano has been incredibly consistent
Apparently "Twenty to One", when he says "look at the time it's twenty to one", if you'd started the album at midnight on launch it would've been 00:40am. Deep levels
Lmao he said it was a big coincidence
i am so happy this is how lee has come back after a little break needed his content whilst i’ve been isolating
Not watched any of your reactions before. I love this album Dave is incredible ,I've always been a Kano fan with his smart intelligent lyrics and Dave is no exception , your reaction to this album amplified it for me. I've subscribed. Honestly keep up the good work I'll keep watching
My man released a podcast on this one! Love it. I knew when I listened to this Lee would be the only one to really deep and appreciate GIggs' verse.
Giggs 🔥🔥🔥🔥 they all blew me away tbh 🤷🏾♂️
“Fuck honour, this revolver is onomatopoeic
Let it "Stut-tut-tut-tut-tut-tut-ter" when you see him” …
This bar is absolutely outrageous and I hope it doesn’t go over peoples head. If you don’t know what an onomatopoeia is it’s something that resembles/suggests the sound that it describes. It may not be the hardest bar in the album, but his delivery and thought process behind what he writes is second to none.

@@d.akerejola6165 😂😂😂
I dk why but the first 2 and the last 2 were all alone, verdansk, heart attack and survivors guilt, all are my personal favourites but this whole album as a whole is truly beautiful, album of be year IMO, and probs the only artist I could trust to represent the uk scene
Just incase if some of y’all didn’t know “Twenty to One” if you played the album on it’s midnight drop depending on where you live of course when that song starts it’s exactly 20 to 1 😊
Technically 12 42 but yeah
The best reactor gives us the best reaction. Here with us from start to finish. I wish this was 4 hours long. Big up to the brother LeeToTheVI for giving us this.
When the album dropped I was patiently waiting for a reaction to one or two of the tracks from the album, and you blessed us with a whole album reaction. God bless, our donny👊🏼
Ghetts: I'm focused, I don't need to burn the kush
This is Moses speakin' to the burnin' bush
Referring too kush as (weed) but also the kingdom kush tgat is where the biblical story of Moses and the burning bush takes place 🔥🔥🔥
Ethiopia was referred to as kush allie

Your reaction to Ghetts and Giggs actually put the biggest smile on my face. You are the GOAT for this, king.
Been waiting for this ever since the album dropped. 2 fucking hours letsgo🤩🤩
Didn’t even fill this vid with adds big up yourself lee we appreciate you seriously 👏
one of the best reactions i've watched, you understand the songs on a next level and want to understand the project in depth. Keep up the amazing work!!
brother i live in America but used to live in uk, feel like i get to listen to these songs with my boys back home when i watch them wit you, plus you keep me upto date with uk scene. keep it up bro
I‘m not skipping a second!!!!! The way I sent on UA-cam everyday in every minute to find this ☝🏾☝🏾☝🏾
This guy makes me appreciate great music 100x
"It's demanding more from you as a listener, in an emotional capacity." Couldn't have summed up Heart Attack better, those ten minutes are fucking ridiculous.
Dave has been consistently top 5 in the uk scene since the very start of his career. Maybe not in views or money, but the amount of respect his fans have for him, the realness of almost everything he says, he’s an amazing artist who allows himself to show everyone who’s struggling or has struggled that it can be better when you follow your dreams. I’d go as far to say he could be the future of the uk scene for years to come. Very special album from a very special artist.
“God strike me if I’m lying, I ain’t crying in this beef unless the tears coming tatted on my cheek” 🤮
OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT A BAR
Honestly one of the most disgusting bars I've heard my entire life. Dave is top 5 lyricists ever imo

Survivor’s Guilt is insane, Production is crazy.
Produced by Dave.
The levels Lee puts into reactions is unmatched! Literally pulling apart each song, each bar. Seeing behind it all. Unmatched level of effort and dedication. Love keep grinding ❤️
That «LBC how i Nick the Ferrari» bar is maddddd🤯 Nick Ferrari is the radio host of LBC
Dave + James Blake is a perfect match. Probably why every rapper in the US are all over James Blake for production. UK Kings
I've come across your channel about 1 and a half years ago and I still watch parts of this video every day man. I love dave and its great to see people like you be passionate about his music too. You're a big inspiration to loads of people and I wish all the best for you. Definitely my favorite video on youtube so keep it up! Big up Lee
your reactions are the best out there on yt
Blessup G ❤️
I don’t think he missed a bar in the entire album . He didn’t care how long it took he wanted to show the album the respect it deserves
This album left man speechless.
“Young black art collector, I could take the pressure” the si unit for pressure is pascal (PA), relating to the French artist pascal.
Stretch
@@Mcforlarr makes it more likely when he refers to a unit of measure in the next bar.
Young black art collector, I could take the pressure
Had the scales, now suits that come made to measure"
@@Mcforlarr Point well made. What I really love is the depth of the bars and the thoughts that people have when they hear them.
The beauty is people hear what they want to hear.
On Three Rivers when that lady said 37 years of paying taxes and I got a letter saying I’m an illegal immigrant - truss, that had me a way.
IT IS BACK nah I thought this vid was long gone but mad love for getting it back
Icl I hate when ppl re load it bares , but it was completely necessary when “in the fire” came on

Amazing video!!!!
Three Rivers is definitely the top track for me, Reminds me of question time and hangman. To me it’s Dave at his peak, wordplay, flow, Hard beat and most importantly speaking from experience and the heart. Relatable to a lot of people and is an issue that needs to be spoken about more.
Yeah I done like a broken down version of a review of the album in my notes and the song I put down as daves signature type of song was three rivers, literally enters his element when he makes a song like this
This reaction is amazing really shows how good Dave is
The way giggs makes you work out the bars yourself is deeeppp ya know
a MASTERPIECE! that’s all I have to say really, left men speechless still.
