A Look at my Bushcraft Fire Kit contents and methods. 1:20 for the 'unboxing' Kent Survival Channel : / @kentsurvival Intro music by Bensound.com Walk the dog from youtube library
You're not going to find yourself without a good roaring camp fire with an amazing fire kit like that one. Must make one myself as I not only have an ideal tin for a kit, but also one to make some char cloth with as well. Great video and thanks for the tips. Take care...
Great kit, fire multiple ways! In the U.S. we have matches that look like these, called "safety" matches. The tip is only one color. They require the striker strip on the box to light. Our "strike anywhere matches" have two-color tips. That ferro rod is awesome.
Instead of hauling around a waterproof case, I just vacuum seal my kit together. You'll guys will laugh, but a tampon is pretty good to keep in there-- lots of cotton for a fire (and waterproof wrapped), and if you hike with women, they might need it. Suggest this from experience, not a hypothetical. Been a trip saver twice-- overturned a canoe in white water on a rainy weekend and that started the fire. Then, the missus forgot her stuff on another trip, so it was a trip saver there too.
Must admit that's the first time I've seen the pencil sharpener- that's pretty clever👍👏👏👏❗️Andy, I'm still working my way through your videos, if you haven't done one on making char-cloth it'd benefit some of the newer survivalists. Silica gel pack in the kit to absorb moisture is very clever too- either that or keep your rice or dried peas in there too 😜👌. Keep up the good work!
Kent Survival yeah I take everything but the kitchen sink. Especially if im camping for a few days its nice to have a fire already going and practice other firelighting methods chilling out
Hi, it was from this seller on eBay. I've also heard that you can use a section of an old fast / file thats high carbon steel if you have one. www.ebay.co.uk/usr/najafb74?_trksid=p2047675.l2559
people like to carry all manor of firestarting materials to practice with in different situations and I guess your stuffed if you don't have any fatwood or pine based products
Great SHIZE. Don’t forget the clipper lighter can be refilled with gass cans & when flint runs down you can change
All that in a little water proof box. That's amazing 😊 love the video
Thank you , Andy .

Vacuum seal is single use. Waterproof case is reusable

Solid fire lighting kit! Thanks for sharing.
Just a bit of overkill. But isn't that part of the fun? You will never be bored lighting fires lol. All of it in a nice compact kit. Nice 👍

you missed a trick....your pencil sharpener is made of magnesium so if you scrape shavings off it....
Why do you need all that when a chunk of fat wood or liter or pine knot will work dry or wet with a fero rod to start fires.
because its helpful and fun to have the knowledge of different techniques.
