    Eliezra is awesome. I love people that can throw long. Once she becomes a little more accurate and knocks down those puts, she will be one dangerous contender. Work it Eli.

    Eliezra is the second most exciting female player on the planet today - so it's great to see her with you, Lucky!
    She definitely has by far the most dynamic driving form of any female player today, for sure.
    Eliezra puts absolutely everything she's got into her distance drives, and watching her throw frame by frame is addicting.
    But my heart knows that world champion, and double world distance record holder, 8-year old Sarah Wadsworth is still No.1 in my book. :D

    I would love to see Eliezra, Lykke and @disctay do a practice round at a mostly open course. Bomb squad would be called for sure.

    DGA Pipeline such a sweet disc. Kind of hesitant bagging one though as they're next to impossible for me to buy without buying from oversees.

    6:28 eliezra talking about not really being able to tell people how she throws so far is exactly why she throws so far. She found what her body wants to do naturally and got really good at it. The more coaching videos I watch, the more different information I get. Why is that? I think it’s because we are all unique and taking a little bit from everything and just going out to a field to correct small mistakes while allowing your body to do what is natural for your body will improve your game. This is why there are so many different throwing styles and forms.
    Typically timing is the biggest mistake being made, other than that let your body flow smoothly.

      In regards to coaching video telling you different things it mainly highlists the blindspots of the people making them. We ALL have blindspots about aspects of our form that come so naturally to us that we are blind to them so we unintentionally focus on the missing pieces that makes everything fall into place for us. What I find most teachable about Eliezra's form is her stability and control (look at her extra drive on hole 1) with no wasted motion, she shifts into her brace solidly then nearly STOPS her body to let the arm complete the whip with a controlled followthrough entirely on plane. She has finely tuned senses about when/where to stay relaxed and when to harden up. The tricky and almost non-teachable part in my opinion is that her hipwork and weghtshift has moved beyond what I consider teachable for most players similar to some of the top throwers in MPO (She gets a decently powerful hiprotation INTO her weightshift a bit like Calvin Heimburg does but this is quite an advanced move).

      @@Flakzor123 well said. Thank you for putting it into words for me. I have a hard time describing stuff without the ability to also show it. I like the blind spots way of looking at form. I appreciate you sharing. Hope you have fun out on your next round.

    Cool video! I appreciated Eliezra's honesty when talking about her 'form' (in that she doesn't overthink it). But also, teenagers play so fast! I'm sure Eliezra plays differently 'off camera', or whatever, but still, slow down! It's disc golf; you have 30 seconds to throw every shot (and 25 seconds can be edited out) so breathe and concentrate! Sigh, me giving advice to a distance queen. She'll win Worlds someday, for sure. (Lykke will take Second 😅😅.)

      Obviously I can't speak for Lykke but if it is of any help: My experience with people from Norway is that English as first foreign language is very popular there and all the people I met spoke it very well.

    Maybe do a short hole breakdown or tell us the line you’re trying to hit before you throw?

      I like that the video isn’t an hour long plus they put the tee sign graphic up

    • @ThrowLikeLucky
      @ThrowLikeLucky  4 місяці тому +3

      I never really liked when other people do those hole breakdowns so I'm going for a more "real" practice round vibe, and I will probably keep it that way for a while. I would like to keep them short enough for people to enjoy and watch the whole video as well.

    I noticed that your putting stroke is vicious. That thing is straight forward rope. You should be on lead card or second card much more often. What part of your game do you find needs more attention?
