- This is the first time I've played the New London Disc Golf course and let me say it did not disappoint. The variety this course has makes it one of the best courses I've played. I think with the ball golf course as a counterpart, this will be one of the best World Championships to date.

I enjoyed these practice rounds when Brodie was involved. Now that Aaron has been doing them I REALLY enjoy them and I wasn’t sure I would. The chemistry between you guys is awesome and, while I think y’all are trying to provide entertainment, the course IQ really shines through and puts these videos amongst the best content available.
Brodie also never edited his shit. Aaron and Ezra have perfectly watchable length practice rounds. Brodie's always seemed way too fucking long for little to no payoff.

Also, Aaron, I love how much you know and can say about the holes themselves, how they compare to others, and the good and bad side of each. That is to say: disc golf content creation is something that you are/ can excel at. I love it.

I really enjoy when you tell us what the holes remind you of. It allows me to see how you break down a hole. You do a great job of comparing holes I’m familiar with so I see what decisions are being made on coverage.

I was so focused on he disc golf, I missed most of the gems during the Hole 13 breakdown. Worth a second look for sure, especially Aaron's "ass" line. Awesome!

It's been said in Ezra's video but I'll echo it here. You two make this look like a different course. Very recognizable, but the talent you guys have really show it off in a different light, and it lives up to it's champion-level design. And the 2 of you have good suggestions. As someone who watches foundation videos, I usually see new London played quite a bit. That being said, the hole breakdowns are fantastic. Totally different perspective on the holes. Even if I had never seen any golf played on these holes, the breakdowns paint a great picture. Great team chemistry between Goose and Ez. You guys give great perspective on just how specific professionals get on landing zones, disc selection, etc... Keep it up!!

We usually have such an event were they redesign the existing course, both combing/mixing tees to baskets and just make completely new holes. Always the most fun event of the year!!
The loudest snaps on release of disc I've heard are from Gossage, Eagle, and Barela. Insane amount of torque they generate and it sounds like a whip crack.

I LOVE the idea of throwing pros on a three blind courses for an event, no practice, nothing but a caddie book. It would be so interesting to see if the same top pros would still kind of rise to the top, or if some new faces might show up with the ability to break down a hole from the tee pad

I still think that having a disc draft tournament would be awesome. Keep it to small bag size (under 10 discs) and see how the pros can adapt to not having 5 different stabilities of the same mold.

I meet both of them at Texas States after their first round. There was an Autograph signing booth that most players went to after their rounds to sign discs. It probably will be the same here.
They are both super nice guys in person also. If I could say one thing bad it would be that Aaron needs to work on a cooler looking signature. Lol
Probably after our rounds. We usually stick around for a while to sign autographs. My suggestion is just wait until the night before to see what our tee times turn out to be so you’ll know when we finish our rounds.

Hole 13 after kicking off a tree: it feels really good. And I'm excited in a way that's unlike anything else. Still struggling though.

I think the FPO is gonna do a lot better than MPO on this hole.

If it’s possible I would love to see an in the bag before worlds. Being that everyone follows worlds a little closer than most tournaments. It would be nice to know what your watching when we see you on jomez 😉

You can flex flick on 13 and go right or backhand skip to go left
flippy discs are essential on this course. Gonna need a straight putter or mid
I think range finders should only be used in practice rounds. Now you should be allowed to write down distances in notes and then use your notes in the actual tournament so that you have a rough estimate of where you are.

It’s a good thought if you need to birdie. Unfortunately it’s so hard to keep a roller in the fairway, I don’t see it being a viable play.
@@aarongossage3787 well, if you are in 2nd place come championship Sunday and trailing by one stroke going into 18, and need a Birdie...if it were me, I would practice that shot every day. I am 61 years and love watching all you guys play every week.

NC golfer who has driven up 5 or 6 times since it opened, pretty much agree on your takes. I will *never* play OB on 1 & 2 again, I've been dying to throw a fh on 1 but that OB is right there. World Championship rules from here on out!
What will the hot rounds be on this course? I am thinking -10
I think Paul's record is -10. Granted he's designed & played the course a ton, and he was probably going very aggressive when he shot that. The first three OB's being taken out does soften the rating a decent amount, but I'd imagine -10 is close to a 1090 round. I'm guessing around -7 or -8 will be hot rounds, similar to Northwoods black. It's a long event and there's no need for the top guys to take excessive risk.
I think someone will shoot double digits but there's enough tough holes that I don't think there will be too many rounds like that.
