Hey Geoffrey! This video came so in time for my troubles because my husband was hot and the next day so cold. So I was struggling between blasting his head off for being inconsistent (my usual self) or staying cold with him. Never did I expect you to say be even hotter! ESP when he just came out of stonewalling about a week ago, I was worried that he is going back in again because of something I did unconsciously. Thank you so much for reviving my confidence again and I’m must say your videos gave me hope every time I hit a brick wall (pun intended). 😁

It’s not about what you’re doing right it’s about the few things you’re doing wrong. Dont worry about saying nothing changes. She’s watching you like a hawk probably even more so than when you were together.
I heard from my mother in law I shocked my separated wife when I complimented her hair and how recently I’ve been passing a bunch of tests. I know she knows I know this so I expect more resistance because she also wants to know if I’ll stay consistent even when things are grim. I’ve changed my mindset and it’s woken up the true competitor in me.

Mine feels like it's hit and miss. When I test him more often or not he will run away and sometime (rarely) he will stay. Most of the time he tells me that because of the way I show up (angry) that he feels defensive. And if I need to take a moment to myself to calm down. And am happier so I can actually be present with him.

Geoffrey, would this apply with hot and cold or distant behavior from a separation with wife? How do I determine the kind of contact I should be doing with her ? We text and talk on the phone sometimes it's been 6 months almost and at times we txt more other times she completely ghosts me for hours before responding. How do I keep it going or what is the best thing I can do to build a connection, it feels like there's a lack of her wanting to connect with me. We flirt at times, even been intimate within this separation and spoken about it again real recently, what can I do to keep building trust and friendship and not stumble in this process but also not get to the point where it's dead yet not overly pushy

I would see untethered different to disconnection/indifference. To get to the stage he is explaining is a deep level which I have only got a taste of so far. These vids are barely scraping the surface, and from what I have learned so far, the things he is talking about are entirely possible. Check out the free resources he is offering , it’s really inspiring.

I’ve been with my girlfriend for 5 months, recently we had a bad situation which i think destroyed emotional safety, last night she came back to me to tell me how she feels like when we talk we’re only talking like friends, like we have nothing to say to each other, during this conversation (I followed the 5 steps for a good conversation, well not the first one because this was through massages). I feel the same way but I think it stems from the lack of emotional safety which makes it so we don’t know what to talk about and avoid deep subjects, how can we start talking deeply again and stop having only small talk?

Duh...Yes they do. But I work with men. So why would I teach people to blame their partners. What good does it do? Where is the leadership in that?
I can tell you're new to my work - take a look at all of these men taking charge.
And they realize that when they begin to lead, their partner's behaviors changes as well.
