Dear Lord, I need you right now more than ever. I feel so little and insecure due to the fact that my wife wants a divorce and nothing to do with me. Stop participating in your sins. You have to stop doing all those things first and foremost.
Make those changes brother, create that safety & Trust for your woman ~ then maybe she will come back. Give her a reason to come back home. You will have to Re-create Trust, Safety, and Change before she will fill safe to come back home. I used to drink badly, and I Met God thru Jesus Christ, and He took the desire for me to drink alcohol. I was delivered from the devil's brew, but submitting my will to God's will and Accepting Jesus as my Lord and Savior, then He helped me to change the man I was to a New man. God's Speed brother!
Great info. Separating the outcome from my changes has opened up a new perspective. Relationships should not be reward based. ie... do something good to get something good. You do something good, because it is good. I don't know where I'll end up, but I'm not afraid anymore of any outcome. Speak your peace about what you would like the outcome to be but understand, and take responsibility for why it might not turn out the way you want. You can't be mad if you contributed to the mess. Then follow through. Do what you say you are going to do. I have messed that up so much in my marriage, that I definitely would have left me too. Not sure where you are Geoffrey, but I'd shake your hand if I could. You're doing great work and you should be proud.
Your videos have been so therapeutic to me since my wife and I entered a very serious cross-road in our relationship. We've been married for going on nine years and several days ago, we had the initial talk of moving towards divorce and I've not been the same since. “For how long do I have to keep doing this?” 🤣 Yes, that’s a sure sign that he isn’t serious about making permanent changes; he just wants to trick you. You can tell, cause they switch strategies pretty often. One week, they try to appease you. If you don’t go back to them, they try to guilt you into returning. If that doesn’t work, they turn accusatory. If that doesn’t work, they resort to subtle threats, and so on. Eventually, their impatience, anger, manipulation, and displays of power are back in full swing.

Just keep working. If you would do anything for her in front of her, do it when she isn’t looking. Take care of something she’s asked forever

I did this with my partner. I said i accepted his decision and understand this is what he wants even if i don't. I told him I'm working on being able to communicate better and understand that ive not made it easy for him to open up to me and im working on myself to be the best me i can be for the future. We hugged and i told him my door is always open we can talk about anything not just us, even if its just work or other life stuff. I guess for now i concentrate on my controlling behaviour n the passband my communication skills and time will tell. ive got to find somewhere else to live and i guess my concern is that if i move out of town for financial reasons then we won't communicate at all anymore.

Ok so it started off my communication skills (I would speak from upset/angry emotion and say things I didn’t mean) now she’s like idk what I want in life, I have a lot of baggage I need to solve on my own, idk if I’m ready for a marriage and I have goals that I wanted to do on my own. 1. My wife is raising a point on my character. From her arguments, I am getting a sense that the points she is raising is looking at the situation in “glass half empty” way. And now she wants to separate.
Should I just accept her point of view and be self derogatory and agree to her view point and promise to induce change in me ?

Can we identify that there is room for growth regardless of how full our cups are?
If the answer is yes, then why do we have to be self derogatory in order to say hey, yeah I can work on those things, I can improve.
Imagine if for my business I said to my team. We made it! We are the best! We have more proof of success than any other relationship program on the market.

I will tell you that same thing I tell everyone. Don't focus on showing your partner changes (Sales & Marketing) focus instead on making the right, massive, and permanent changes.
Just wanna share so maybe i can help someone else. She wanted to spend more time and for me to understand her. All I did was work, go to the gym, and play the game until it was time for bed. I didn't realize how much I started to block her out. She says she's not in love anymore. We have been working on it and now I love her more than ever, I just hope I can replace her feelings with better feelings than I've ever made her feel towards me. Edward, this is the moment when you become the leader to make the massive changes in yourself. She will eventually see your changes. Won't happen overnight, but use this time to work on you... Just remember that emotions can and do change with time.

If her ENTIRE family is ghosting you...
The last thing I would think about is "How do manufacture contact?"
The first thing I would think about is to ask myself "What are the internal issues I need to work on and fix that made an ENTIRE FAMILY to want nothing to do with me..."
I mean, I am trying to think about what it would take for my wife's family to ghost me - and it would take A LOT of bad behaviors.
Hint: The most difficult people to deal with are those who have flaws, but choose to keep being in denial of them, choose to keep being unaware of them, and get defensive when hey are pointed out their flaws.

She is not willing to have a conversation with you due to lack of trust and safety… She may have said in the past that she’s given up and there is no hope, but that’s her expression from an emotional place.
Once you follow the right processes you will start to see the changes in her interaction and communication, but his takes time to build.
The reality is that the focus should be on you becoming the best version of yourself to showcase a “new” you when contact occurs… Just remember that the current version of you will not re-attract her.

The problem is she doesn't even let me talk but kept lashing out the pass over and over. Also i did apologies but she can't even realize what casue that arguments at the first place. She sometimes acts fine and understandable but then later on she turns into evil and lashs out and blame me.
there is a lot of "overlap" in your many youtube videos. Surely a lot of the info could be condensed into a few underlying memorable principles guidelines which would be more helpful. Many of the scenarios you describe are to produce a perfect man (who does not exist) with a high maintenance demanding wife or partner. In ALL relationships you love your partner even with some faults (otherwise they would not be human beings!!!).

I'm in the same boat as Phillip. I've hurt her with words, but it was to make her stop, not to hurt or belittle, and I did not see this at the time. Gotta grow up sometime. I want my wife, back PERIOD. We are not divorced yet, but it could happen at any given moment right now.

I couldn't agree more with everything you have said in this video. I am currently deployed and my wife is thinking about leaving because I have lacked to show her the level of attention and care she needs. Now that we have talked about it for weeks I fully understand that I can do what I need to in order to better myself permanently and make our marriage work.
