You’ll discover what it takes to compete in American motocross as you blaze your own trail through a decision-based single-player campaign. You will navigate beautiful 3D environments in first-person and third-person camera perspectives, a first for the Mad Skills Motocross franchise.
The most essential part of any good motocross game is the physics. Countless hours have been spent on the physics to create an arcade racing experience that is grounded in reality and fun for any skill level. Rail berms and throw massive whips with simple and intuitive controls. Physics will continually be optimized based on community feedback.

The air drag is INSANE, you can go from 50mph to 25mph in a single jump!

It has the appearance that the bike is a static plane within the frame and the background is moving behind that plane. So when the bike lands on the ground it is un-reactive to the ground. Most of the MESX games have this same appearance.
Looks alright. Good start. I hate when they change camera angle when jumping. That in combination with slowing down so much looks like you could come to a stop in-air. Weird.

Motocross is one of those things that has like....3 good games and each do ONE specific thing good so you never end up having one base for all of the community.

Turning is way to unrealistic jumping is to absurd length wise you have to slow to corner in real life. First person is better
This looks cool. I like this blend of animation and good graphics. Something fresh. I'm looking forward to it.
Hopefully they add at least some terrain deform and could probably work on the graphics performance a bit, like...less flickering and stuff.
For something fresh though, looks like they're doing a good job, and I like how it keeps a more arcadey/ classic feel. Something to have a bit of fun on when you wanna get a break from legends and others.

Still waiting on that demo release. Feb 26th, he said on discord "we will be releasing a free demo in the coming weeks. Just tying up a few loose ends with the build." 2 months later still no demo.
Game development takes time (especialy for small teams) and its hard to determinate an estimate time sadly, maybe they don't feel like the demo is polished enough to be released yet. there's many things that can put development to a halt. like funds, something that seems easy but end up difficult, and personal reasons.
We have been fixing a lot of bugs, making changes, and adding new features so the demo will be solid when we release it to the public. The main thing we have been working on is the server and server infrastructure so everyone will be able to play online. We have been finding a few sneaky bugs during our playtests with our beta testers that are critical to fix. It takes time - I'm at my normal job from 8-5 and only have a few hours at night to work on the game so patience with us would be very much appreciated.
@@lazyox Yeah I know game development takes time and anything can come up causing issues to cause delay. IMO he should have just said something along the lines of "Free demo TBD"
That’s honestly how the entire development of this game has gone… should’ve been there since the early days, really lost hope for these guys, too much shady stuff and a huge lack of transparency to supporters.
@@LCQStudiostake the time to polish it for a better release, if a game launches in a bad state huge change it never takes off…
The original mad skills motocross had a pc version I remember playing it all the time as a kid

This game is really good, I will definitely play it when it comes out. It's a famous franchise in the mobile market, Mad Skill Motocross 2 and 3 were the ones I played the most.

for about 5 seconds I 100% thought the person on screen was windham, and I was like there is NO WAY thats what he looks like, then it all came together!

Hell yeah! I hope they get the Licenses for supercross/motocross and possibly Media companies I know they Had RedBull but possibly like Legends with their OEM/Factory Collaborations.
Legends could have been great with at least a track creator however, Nordic is very Archaic when it comes to that stuff very much applaude to Milestone for at least giving us tools to Create/Customize tracks and he’ll even our own Helmets.
We were in NEED of another franchise I really do wish these guys all the best and give Nordic and The MVA franchise a run for their money 🫡‼️
People hating on MX vs ATV legends dont seem to understand that it's actually one of the best motocross games available. Yes it launched in rough condition BUT it's much better now!
One of the best things about legends is that we have all the 2022 AMA Motocross tracks, all the 2023 AMA Motocross tracks PLUS we just got access to the 2024 Monster Energy Supercross tracks & they go live just a few days before the actual race. As a long time moto rider myself, this is a dream come true! The Monster Energy Supercross games are almost unplayable imo due to the type of physics they use, same gies for MXGP games because its the same game but with MX. With legends we get a game that's NOT perfect but that's definitely FUN to play & has some of the best tracks on any MX game on CONSOLE! So IDK why ppl want to hate in legends so much, its really not that bad. Happy gaming ✌️
This looks like exactly what I've been looking for. Mx vs atv is too corny for my taste now, mx bikes feels too sweaty to just casually enjoy. This looks like a happy medium between the two. Been following this since announcement but I honestly didn't expect it to get this far

The only thing is what keeping Legends alive is their collaboration with the OEMs, Factory Teams, and the Liscense that they have with Gear, Bike, other sponsors. If Legends didn’t have that they would be in Shambles especially no track/gear creator.
Although Milestone regressed that Innovated and brought back things that were in motocross games before!

Technically speaking you easily could but it’s just that piboso is only one guy that sources outside help for mx bikes there’s not really a MX bikes company yet. But a lot of people always say oh “mx bikes could never hit console” those people are all wrong because skater xl is on console and there mods are just like what mad skills is going to do. You go to a community tab and download the stuff you want. Bikes could literally do this exact same thing but it’s a ton of work a ton of script to write for one or 4 people on top of optimization for console(wich is a sun of a b***h to do js) on top of Sony wanting a huge cut he’d also have to pay the oem team a ton of money as well so there’s alot to iron out there before it could ever go to console with access to mods. Tbh it makes no sense to buy a console it’s like paying the same thing for a decent pc and only getting to play base games. It’s basically a kids gaming pc if you really think about 😂. But I will say if mx bikes was to hit console it would blow companies away at how much money they missed out on. There’s people out there who don’t even watch dirt bike content or races that love to play dirt bike games they just quit playing after reflex because the games went to shit….. mx bikes would be one of the biggest racing games of all time if it hit console I promise you lol.
