I always wanted to know. So I read a lot of theories. Some were satisfying, some weren't. I'm happy that I never figured out. It's not the point of this movie anyway. To me it's the ultimate depiction of a suburb in the 80's, adolescence, suffering from a mental disorder and falling in love.

The oak tree, the oak tree. It was a dream.
I shifted dimensions during the eclipse on April 8th, 2024. This piece of music is what I associate with the whole experience.
I always wanted to know. So I read a lot of theories. Some were satisfying, some weren't. I'm happy that I never figured out. It's not the point of this movie anyway. To me it's the ultimate depiction of a suburb in the 80's, adolescence, suffering from a mental disorder and falling in love.
maybe none of the events of the movie happen maybe it was a dream by Donnie
so this is how death sounds like?
Not the for whom the bell tolls I was looking for.. but the one I was happy to find
"What a shame. Things I could had done. Truly gruesome things.
But now, I guess my fun is at It's End"
- The Darkness
Frank’s Eye = Eye of Horus / Bully Seth = Set / His sister Elizabeth (Taylor) dressed as Cleopatra- so many allusions to Egyptian Mythology
BURN IT TO THE GROUND
This is my favorite song on the soundtrack and I was hoping it would be on the LP with the score... but sadly no. I have no idea how to get this song on LP. Oh well
Thank you Donnie. We're still here thanks to you. You'll never be forgotten.
