Queen really had it all, never fails to amaze me🥲
They were truly one of a kind!... seems like the Stars lined up just right for them to be together!.. we are all the better for that! R.I.P. Freddie.
The more you listen to them and go through their history, you realize how special they really were.
Just the beginning for me
@@MDreeezyYou gotta do “Somebody to Love” live in Montreal!
Hard to believe Freddie had a bad throat infection and performed against doctors orders! They had 20 minutes to perform and then the power would get cut. You can see the red light on stage as they stopped their final note. Ultimate professionals!
That is insane!!! I didnt even know that🤯
72,000 people in attendance and 1.9 Billion people watching from around the world.
Freddie performed against doctors orders with a throat infection. He said it felt like broken glass when he sang. Live Aid made 124 million dollars for famine in Africa. When the boys left the stage a Prince from Dubai donated $1 million
Thank you for taking the time to watch the full concert! Much appreciated.
I agree from such a young soul x
As has been said many times- on that day, another Queen ruled in England. If anyone was destined to be a rock god, it was Freddie.
It felt like the whole world was tuned in to Live Aid. The most incredible time to come of age
It's so nice seeing young people react to Queen 👑 and the best entertainer Freddie freaking Mercury 💕! You young man thank you for keeping this great music 🎶 from years ago alive! 🙏 ❤
One of THE great Rock performances ever. RIP Freddie.
I’m just as mesmerized watching this now as I was at 15 watching this live on tv. Just wish I could’ve seen them in concert before Freddie passed in 1991.
I was 24 watched on mini tv
Freddie was so full of life and you can feel how much he loved to perform :) An incredible talent :)
Live Aid was a charity rock concert. For africa. Big names in music were there, all had 20 minute sets. Wembly stadium is where this is. 80k in the crowd. 1b watched on tv. Its was on all major networks.
That stadium holds 80K. Then they had the whole pitch packed. Had to be 100K there, at least.
Philadelphia was the American concert. Phil Collins made history by playing in London and then hopping on the Concorde to play in America.❤🎉❤
glad you mentioned the drums, have always been frustrated the cameramen did not give Roger more video footage.
The magnificent Freddie Mercury ❤ thanks you for the reaction 😊 any Queen live is amazing 😊
They said the acoustics onstage were awful and that they couldn't even hear one another. That's where their professionalism comes into play. They had rehearsed the set extensively beforehand to get the timing right. You can see lots of visual cues between them too. A truly remarkable performance with no autocue, earpieces, etc. They were on fire! Freddie was enjoying himself so much. By the end of the set you could tell his voice was beginning to crack (he wasn't supposed to be singing at all). That's when you can hear Roger singing louder and louder to support him. Again, that shows how professional they were. Very tight band.
Can you hear the audience singing along with Freddie? Every song too!
🤗 Watching Ready Freddie never gets old! 🥰🐰
The greatest set in rock history!!
R.I.P FREDDIE WE MISS YOU
one of the greatest live performances ever!
My favourite distraction . . .Queen's Live Aid Concert! Thanks for the reaction.
All of the proceeds from live aid were donated to feed the people of Africa. This was an all day global event they televised for well over 1.5 billion viewers that started in Australia (Oz for Africa), then broadcast from Wembley and then from Philly which had more than 100k people in attendance. I was at the Philly concert and they broadcast Wembley for us. It was all incredible, and this performance certainly stood out. Phil Collin’s performed in London and also appeared in Philly in the evening which was also unforgettable! Even though it was close to 100 degrees that day, it was truly one of the best days of my life. Not only the music but the spirit of the event and overall caring for others. What a time!
The greatest band ever. ❤ And to this date nobody can even come close to Freddie 🥰 Rest in Paradise
This was an all day event with many of the best groups and concerts ran side by side in London and in Philadelphia going back and forth from one venue to the other while the stage was cleared and set up for the next band. Each band was only allowed 20 minutes for their set. This concert was broadcast around the world and everyone I knew was watching/listening to it.
Which was 1.9 billion in all
You are a very astute young man. I saw Queen in Wembley stadium london in 1986. Freddy was The Greatest Showman.......❤
I watched it live on TV, I had just graduated high school. A great time!
Don't forget Queen was FOUR people. The only band where every member wrote at least one #1 hit! Two of their biggest hits "Another one bites the dust" and "You're my best friend" were written by bassist John Deacon who never gets mentioned. Freddie was the charismatic front man but they were a force together. Yes, not a sea of cell phones, just listening to REAL music and seeing the band. Radio gaga is precisely about that....The glow of the radio was our teenage friend back then, our night light. "We watched the stars on video for hours and hours, we have no need to use our ears". Radio "stick around cause we might miss you when we get tired of all these visuals", in other words LISTEN to the music, don't just go for the videos that distract from the music and lack of talent..Speaking of a choir, listen to the audio of "Let me Live". Sounds like gospel.
This concert started at 12 noon until 10 pm. MANY performers. Everybody got 20 minutes equal time.
There's nothing like Freddy Mercury's love & singing! 😍 we miss ya!
Thank you…that was a great reaction…I think that the words you were searching for were “the blues”…early Queen is excellent….look for “Liar” live at the Rainbow…each member gets their chance to shine…and the most amazing thing to me is that John Deacon, the bass player is only 23 years old in that performance…check it out…you won’t regret it🤩
No performer like Freddie...and what a voice! You are right...nothing like a live concert in my era..just you a thousand people and music! I am lucky to have seen The Beatles, Stones, Jethro Tull and Zeppelin live in my 20s...50+ years ago. I still listen to them all every day!
It wasn’t only Queen who realized they had been sensational. Paul Gambaccini, who was part of the BBC broadcasting team at Live Aid, recalled the awe among other superstar musicians watching backstage. “Everybody realized that Queen was stealing the show,” said Gambaccini. These were the very words Elton John uttered when he rushed into Mercury’s trailer after the set. “You bastards, you stole the show,” joked the charismatic star.
“Queen smoked ’em. They just took everybody. They walked away being the greatest band you’d ever seen in your life, and it was unbelievable,” said Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters. “And that’s what made the band so great; that’s why they should be recognized as one of the greatest rock bands of all time, because they could connect with an audience.”
Their impact was summed up by Geldof. “Queen were absolutely the best band of the day,” the Live Aid organizer said. “They played the best, had the best sound, used their time to the full. They understood the idea exactly, that it was a global jukebox. They just went and smashed one hit after another. It was the perfect stage for Freddie: the whole world.”
That is definitely how you hold 72,000 people in the palm of your hand. Absolutely Amazing!!!!!
Great concert Great Legendary Band!!!!
Love your reaction! I would recommend Somebody to Love live at Montreal but be sure you have your headphones. Keep up the great job 👍

Queen, the best rabbit hole you'll ever go down! ❤❤❤❤
Was lucky enough to see Queen in Madison Square Garden decades ago
I was born in 1979 and I was 5 (almost 6) when I watched this live on TV. I had no clue how crazy special it was.
I was 2 when this concert happened queen / Freddie Mercury will always be a legend
I was there at this concert in London. Just an amazing experience. U2, Elton John, The Who. But Queen’s performances were the best.
Amazing on my portable tv 24 years old ...yes Queen mesmerising
Roger's drumming and background vocals are epic, and he'd be a lead singer in any other band. And Brian and John can make two guitars sound like 10.
Welcome back ❤I was 15 when Live Aid happened and it was Epic. I was watching Queen with my Dad. I was already a huge Queen fan and When Freddie played the audience a home it was great. No other band did that only Freddie. He was instructed by his doctor not to perform because he had a throat infection (Freddie at 70 % is better than most at a 100%😂) Freddie said Queen would be there because he wasn't going to miss performing for the crowd at Wembly but mostly the 1.8 billion people watching from home. When Queen was done I realized my Dad became a fan that day as did many. There was all the best bands of the time . David Bowie had to take the stage after Queen and reportly said How The F*CK am I to follow that 😂 Great reaction and Peace out ✌️ ☮️ BTW I suggest the movie Bohemian Rapsody. It's a great movie about Freddie and Queen you might want to check out on your own time ❤ You were talking about festivals. You should react to some of the acts from Sarstock that took place in Toronto in 2003 there were 500,000 crazy Canadians there and there was 15 acts including The Guess Who, Rush AC/DC and the Rolling Stones headlining. But AC/DC Stole the show. I was about 20 rows back and it was a sea of people and we rocked out til 3am from 12 pm.
And then there's guitarist Brian May. The brilliant and acclaimed astrophysicist. Who worked on the Hubble Telescope. Crazy.
This wasn't a Queen only crowd, but Queen stole the show! NOBODY wanted to follow this!!❤
Live Aid had many bands here at Wembley Stadium and more in America. This was a charity event for Africa. None of the participants were paid ❤
Excellent reaction
Check it out somebody to love live Montreal thank you
Freddie sounded this amazing even after having laryngitis the week before. He performed in spite of his doctor's advice to rest his voice, but he said after the performance that it felt like he was singing with a throat full of glass shards.
72,000 people at the concert,in the 1980s this was quite a small gathering xx
Freddy said to never let his music be blocked.
They certainly don’t make music like this anymore.
Not saying we don’t have some good musicians these days as there’s always a few, but the 60s- 90s really gave us some pure talent which never gets old. And Queen is at the top of that list. Absolute magic 👌🏼
Freddie and Brian came back to do the last song of the day, one Freddie wrote called "Is This the World We Created?". Even though it was not written for this occasion, the words were perfect for it.
Tickets for the entire concert for the whole day cost only £25 !!!
Yessir
Yup! ❤
You should be wearing your headphones so you don’t miss out ❤
I don’t remember Wembley stadium being this huge
Place looks packed!!
Check out early Queen. 1974 Rainbow, Stone Cold Crazy, Liar. 1975 Odeon. White Queen. In The Lap of The Gods.
Thanks!.
Hay bro ghost love score it's different drums are cool night wish
You should watch a live version of Tina Turner doing Proud Mary from the 80's or 90's, you would enjoy that
❤❤❤
BOhemian Rhapsody he did just the first part of it.
Freddie "mooning" the crowd goes back to his song Death on Two Legs... if you haven't heard it, take a listen... use the lyric video, you want to hear every word, LOL!
Love You, MD💘
If you download from the official Queen youtube video you should not have any issues with blocking. They are great about that. Of course, now that Sony is in the process of buying the Queen catalog for over a billion dollars I am worried that may change. SO HURRY-and react to all the live Queen videos you can!
Did you know that Lady Gaga took her name from Radio Gaga?
If you haven't seen the movie Bohemian Rapsody, you must see it.

Queen was not even originally booked for this event. There was some discord in the group due to freddy trying to go solo. They show it in the movie. They felt that they had to be there, as it was a charity event and they needed to be relevant again. So, as per usual, they showed up and stole the show. I've heard that Bowie was mock-pissed after that performance and in passing called them "bastards!". He knew he wouldn't be able to follow that performance, who could? I'm sure he wasn't really mad, but it put a lot of pressure on everyone else that followed. I think that because it was a charity gig, some act thought they could "phone it in". This is mostly speculation on my part, I wasn't there and didn't even watch it, as I wasn't as into music as I am now. I was 20 at the time this happened and was probably busy with my friends doing what 20 year olds did back then....
The movie was “dramatized”… in reality , there was NO discord over Freddie doing a solo album . Fact is, Roger actually did a solo album first.
They were NOT “irrelevant” at this point, and had just finished their highly successful The Works tour just a couple months prior.
The “not originally booked” is somewhat of an exaggeration too - they were approached by Bob Geldof pretty early in the process Geldof said “This kind of event is exactly your kind of thing, Freddie!” - meaning a huge venue / packed house was something Queen was VERY accustomed to, unlike many bands who were used to no more than 20-30k audiences. The big thing that made this different for Queen is that it was going to be satellite broadcast worldwide to *almost 2 BILLION people*.
It took a bit for Queen to agree, but ultimately they said yes - and since Queen takes a lot of pride in their professionalism, they rented a big rehearsal hall and practiced for a full week, for hours on end, to perfect their playlist and play it all exactly within the given time frame - they even had timers stationed all around their rehearsal space to make sure.
Al big bands played 20 minutes each a couple of days , 24 hours a day , no pause .
No one got payed , al money went to help the starving in Etiopia .
Al TV stations bought rights to broadcast live the whole show live .
So technaly the ehole world saw this live 😊
Watch somebody to love live. Wembly
Queen led Zeppelin or The Beatles for top spot
The officers at the beginnings are comics, not real police officers, hence the humor!
You think this crowd is big, check out Metallica Live at Moscow
Freddie was sick with AIDS when he perform this!!! He was LiT!!! The crowd was LIT!!! We knew he was sick!!! Great performance!!!!
He had a throat infection, likely a precursor, but wasn't diagnosed until 1987.
Something worth watching & possibly reacting to is a Queen documentary that the BBC put out back in 2011 called “Days of Our Lives.” You can find it on here by searching “Queen days of our lives” & the result (first or second) that’s almost 2 hours is what you wanna watch.
